Muskoka - Indischer Fluss

An 'Olde' Muskoka summer cottage is now available in the heart of Port Carling, right on the Indian River, offering access to Lake Rosseau. This in-town gem, connected to town water, provides the perfect blend of privacy and convenience, just a short walk to shops, restaurants, the library, arena, and island museum.

This spacious two-story cottage features five bedrooms, pine floors, and two bathrooms, comfortably accommodating up to nine guests. For the adventurous, there's also an outdoor shower. High-speed Bell Fiber Internet is available to keep you connected.

Nestled on a gently elevated, well-treed property, the cottage boasts its own private dock and firepit for cozy evenings. Water enthusiasts will enjoy two single kayaks, a tandem kayak, two stand-up paddleboards, and a paddleboat, all available for use. Please note that OPP safety regulations apply when using water toys.

The location offers fantastic boating access to Lakes Muskoka, Rosseau, and Joseph, and is perfect for swimming, with both shallow entry and deep water off the dock. Port Carling serves as the central hub of the Muskoka Lakes, making it a prime spot to explore the area’s hiking trails, golf courses, resorts, boutique shopping, and gourmet dining.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, small appliances, and essentials like plastic wrap and foil. A Keurig Coffee Maker, assorted teas, and a complimentary bottle of wine are provided for your enjoyment.

For added convenience, a multi-port charging station is located in the main area, and most bedrooms are equipped with lamps featuring USB charging ports.

Parking is shared with the property owners, with space for up to three cars behind the cottage. Additional parking is available on the street or across the road at the library parking lot.

We prefer weekly rentals during July and August, with Sunday check-ins and check-outs. A minimum two-day rental is available during the off-season.
