Brand New Luxury Cottage ♥ Eine der besten Lagen am Lake Rosseau ~ Kayak!

Gelegen auf prestigeträchtigen Royal Muskoka Island (Autozugang) .Park für 5 Autos, zwei Einfahrten. Ich habe zwei Lose nebeneinander, eine Menge hat eine "Bunky" und Schuppen, fügt viel Privatsphäre hinzu. Südwestlage, ebenes und flaches Land, 50 Meter vom Deck bis zum Wasserrand, herrliche Aussicht ca. 3 Meilen. Sandy Küstenlinie. Ein großer Hügel gegenüber der Straße schützt vor Nordwinden.

Entfernt von Hotels, Yachthäfen, Geschäften und Flussmündungen. Keine Probleme mit dem Bootsverkehr. Innenland von Island (Auto Zugang) sind voller Annehmlichkeiten wie Basketball Halbplatz, Baseball-Diamant, Fußballplatz, Gazebo, Grill, Picknick-Tische und vieles mehr. Fünf Minuten zu Fuß. Am Ende der Sackgasse, sehr wenig Straßenverkehr.

Das Cottage ist im Februar 2018 fertiggestellt. Meine Familie war 60 Jahre auf dieser Seite. Sehr gut angelegt. Wir hatten die erste Auswahl an Orten am See, also wählte meine Mutter diese mit ihren 4 Kindern. Beste Lage in der Umgebung.

Das Interieur ist erstklassig. | Alles neu. Die Küche ist spektakulär. Die Badezimmer sind ebenfalls (Fußbodenheizung). Das Wohnzimmer / Esszimmer / Küche haben viele Fenster vorne und hinten für tolle Aussicht und viel Licht. Der Kamin ist hervorragend und groß. Alle neuen Möbel und Top-Betten im Jahr 2018. Eingebautes Regal in allen Schränken.

Enthält auch zentrale Klimaanlage, Luftentfeuchter / Befeuchter, Spotify, WLAN, "Alexa", Ofen, Generator. Zwei große Fernseher, einer im Wohnzimmer und einer im Gästezimmer. TV auch in "bunky". Enthält auch ein neues Qualitätspaddelbrett, Kanu, Seekajak, Angelgerät und Tipps von einem Einheimischen.

Haben kleine 50 PS Boot wird auch mieten, wenn gewünscht, ideal zum Angeln. (Ausgezeichnetes Angeln, kleiner Mundbarsch, Seeforelle und mehr.) Große 14 Fuß breit und 45 Fuß lange Dock vor der Hütte, wie eine Terrasse auf dem Wasser. Auch ein Bootshaus.

Neue Queen-Size-Betten, außer in Master Suite, Kingsize-Bett. 22 Autominuten von Port Carling zum Einkaufen. Mehrere Geschäfte näher, einige auf dem Wasserweg. Luxus-Spa 7 Minuten entfernt. Feines Essen rundum.

We had a wonderful time at Earl & Linda’s beautiful home. The location on the water was perfect , the views were amazing & and the cottage was in exceptional condition. Everything that you could possibly need was on site , and the kitchen was spectacular. They obviously take a lot of pride in their home . And our little puppy had the time of her life on her first vacation !We would highly recommend that you try it out for yourself , and we plan to come back again !!

Best stay ever!

Our vacation took a wonderful turn, thanks to Earl and Linda! After arriving at a different property that was clearly owned by smokers, were relieved when they graciously offered their cottage to us at the last minute. Their property is absolutely stunning, the cottage was beautifully maintained, and everything was spotless. Earl and Linda even met us in person to walk us and give us a tour. It truly turned our rough start of a trip into something special, I can’t recommend this place enough!

Excellent location! The cottage feels fresh and new from the moment you walk in. It’s very spacious, spotlessly clean, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. We loved the extra touches like kayaks, canoes, and other amenities that gave us plenty to do. Even though it rained for three days, we still had a wonderful time both relaxing indoors and enjoying the waterfront whenever the weather cleared.The setting is quiet and peaceful, yet just a 20-minute drive to Port Carling where we found great shops, restaurants, and plenty to explore. It’s the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and nature. We would definitely return!

All of us loved being at your place. The cottage is stunning, with so many amenities and a lot of towels for the kitchen, bathing and the beach; the property so beautiful and tranquil, from any direction, nicely secluded; the bonfire pit with all the wood by the water was really special. The beach was clean with a nice bottom; the paddle boat and kayaks were fun and really nice to have. And loved the availability of different chairs throughout the property to move

Beautiful stay on Rosseau

Such a beautiful property on a little slice of heaven! We had a fabulous weekend and Earl and Linda were great to deal with with lots of personal recommendations, nice tour and accessible for questions etc. We left a 4-star for accuracy only because a hottub was listed on posting but there isn’t actually a hottub. Everything else was perfection and 100% would love to return next season!

Lovely property

The cottage is clean, newly built, comfortable and tastefully furnished. The location is outstanding, with good walking and swimming and proximity to groceries and restaurants. Earl and Linda went out of their way to make sure the cottage was stocked with everything you could possibly need which made the vacation pleasant and stress free. The only downside about the cottage itself is that the bedrooms are a little small but still comfortable. I would have given five stars across the board but for the fact that there was noisy construction right across the road from Tuesday to Saturday starting at 8 am, which disrupted the peace of our vacation.

Wonderful Fall Weekend

The cottage is beautiful and well situated on a peaceful lake. It has spacious and well equipped. living/kitchen area. The bedrooms are well laid out and comfortable and the bathrooms are luxurious. Since it is Autumn we enjoyed using the wood burning fireplace. The area is great for walking and running and it is a nice drive to Port Carling to look through shops and pick up groceries. It was lovely to sit on the deck and watch the sunset and there were kayaks, paddle boards and a canoe for our use. Our university aged daughter enjoyed using the bunkie as her study! Our hosts were wonderful. We hope to return next year!

Family Vacay

We give Earl's place a 5* rating all around. Earl and Linda met us there on check in to give us the tour. The cottage was immaculate, perfect for three families and our two young grandchildren under two. Linda had everything in the cottage for us, including bedding, linens, beach towels etc. The kitchen was well stocked with your everyday needs. The property was beautiful with a walk out to the lake and a sandy area to play with our grandchildren. The dock was a nice way to spend the afternoon. The bay was very quiet at this time of year but you could see the boats go by on Lake Rosseau. Earl had a canoe, paddleboards, kayaks as well. We will definitely return to this paradise in Muskoka. Thanks for everything Earl and Linda.

An absolutely beautiful location. The home is very comfortable for a large group.

The owners of this property are very responsive to all concerns. The home is very clean and comfortable. The fireplace is beautiful. We loved the use of the canoe. We stayed over thanksgiving so we did not swim but we did enjoy sitting on the dock and admiring the lake.

I’ve been fortunate to call Muskoka home my entire life, spending summers at this very spot since childhood. In 2018, I built a year-round lake house so I could experience Muskoka in every season—a decision that has been nothing short of incredible. What began as a summer tradition has grown into a true four-season adventure.

Before moving here full time, I lived and worked in Toronto, building a 40-year career in the service industry. I’ve always loved meeting people, sharing stories, and creating memorable experiences. For over 40 years, I even had the honor of serving as M.C. for the Royal Muskoka Island picnic. Those moments shaped the way I host today—with warmth, energy, and genuine hospitality.

Muskoka has given me so much over the years: peaceful mornings fishing on the lake, the vibrant colors of autumn, thrilling snowmobile rides through winter trails, and countless summer adventures. Each season brings something new to discover, and that’s what makes this place so extraordinary.

Opening our vacation rental has been another wonderful chapter. It allows me to welcome new people into my life—many of whom have become friends—and to share the beauty, relaxation, and excitement of Muskoka. Helping guests experience the region the way locals do is both a joy and a privilege.

Our home is tucked at the end of a peaceful peninsula on prestigious Royal Muskoka Island, with convenient car access via bridge. This exclusive community is warm, welcoming, and offers a true sense of belonging. At its heart lies a shared 32-acre green space, featuring walking trails, a basketball half-court, baseball backstop, soccer field, shuffleboard, gazebo, picnic tables, BBQs, and more. The annual Island Picnic on the August long weekend brings neighbors together with food, games, and laughter—a tradition that has created lifelong memories for generations.

The island’s quiet charm is unmatched: only 40 cottages line the road, with a 20 km speed limit ensuring peace and safety. Our property is uniquely special—flat, level, and southwest-facing for all-day sun. A half-moon–shaped rock point offers panoramic views stretching for miles, while the sheltered bay protects from waves, boat traffic, and cold north winds.

Unlimited high-speed internet, modern convenience pairs seamlessly with natural beauty. This rare combination of community, tranquility, and breathtaking surroundings makes Royal Muskoka Island an extraordinary place to call home.

At the heart of the home is a stunning stone fireplace, built from stones salvaged from the historic Royal Muskoka Hotel’s grand fireplace—just 200 yards down the road—after the hotel’s tragic fire. This piece of history gives the cottage a one-of-a-kind character you won’t find anywhere else.

The property itself is equally rare. Two side-by-side, flat and level lots provide exceptional space and flexibility—perfect for family gatherings or future expansion. Facing southwest, the property enjoys all-day sunshine, while a beautiful half-moon–shaped rock point offers unobstructed, water-level views that stretch for miles.

Natural protection adds to the appeal: a gentle hill across the road shields the cottage from cold north winds, and the large sheltered bay ensures calm waters, safe from heavy boat traffic, waves, and prevailing westerly winds.
