Ground floor apartment set in beautiful gardens with pool, free WiFi and aircon

Our apartment is on a gated urbanisation of 15 properties complete with pool, lush gardens and only ten minutes walk from the town centre, bus and railway stations (no car necessary) and beach. Perfect for two people, the apartment has a lounge area with air conditioning for summer and woodburning stove for cool winter nights; there is a sofa bed, too, suitable for two children or one adult. We have just refurbished the kitchen and shower room, and there's also a double bedroom with overhead fan. A sheltered terrace overlooks the gardens and pool; perfect for al fresco dining. Linen and towels are supplied and there’s also a washing machine and free WiFi. The apartment will be thoroughly cleaned for your arrival.

The apartment is in the former orange growing area of town and a few trees still remain. It’s only ten minutes from the beach and marina with their fabulous choice of restaurants and bars. Close by are two supermarkets selling wine, fresh bread, fruit, veg, meat and fish. A little further afield are the towns of Javea, Oliva and Gandia each combining wonderful stretches of beach with historic town centres.

Our rates are negotiable if you are interested in a stay longer than two weeks or, indeed, a long term let. Contact us for details.

Quiet, well equiped accommodation in beautiful gated gardens. Well maintained and clean. Had a lovely quiet stay but with all the activities close by. Neighbours were very friendly and informative of local area. Lovely holiday and very good hosts answering all questions promptly when booking. Great.

The perfect holiday!

We are a couple and we spent the first summer's week -and, as we were already expecting, the week in Denia was great! We fell in love with the house and the area in which it is located. Just a few metres away from the sea and the beach, near to the beautiful Denia's downtown, near to the mountains too... Such amazing views. The house was perfect for us, it had everything you could find in your own house - indeed, we felt as if we were back in our homes in Madrid! The terrace was so nice and the pool was ideal... Summer couldn't have started better for us. Looking forward to coming next summer!!!!!

Nice apartment, friendly owner

Perfect location for all climbers at Costa Blanca. The apartment is in a small and quiet urbanication, and you can walk in a few minutes to the center or to the beach. It is well equiped with everything you may need. The owner is very friendly and helpful. If you stay there in winter, The fireplace is an extra plus! Denía is quite pleasant, no "skyscrapers" like other cities at Costa Blanca. Maybe I should deduct one star, because there is not much sun in mid-winter (should be much better from spring to autumn), but you better go out, if the sun shines! Climbing info: Next climbing areas Xaló Valley (e.g. Alcalali 20min), northern Benidorm Area (e.g. Guadalest 45min), Gandia (30min) or Calp Area (e.g.Sierra de Toix30min).

Apartment in Denia

We loved the apartment and enjoyed our relaxing stay there.The information sent prior to our stay was really thorough and the directions to get to the apartment were superb! The apartment was more spacious than we thought it would be. An older style apartment with a homely feel, it was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The gardens were lovely and well maintained, the pool was cleaned often. The mountain backdrop at the back was beautiful and the complex area quiet, safe and secure, with locked entrance gates. The apartment is well located to the town and beach, just a 15 minute walk away. The town was bustling with a great Spanish atmosphere. Supermarkets a short walk stocked all the things we needed. The apartment is well located to travel to other area's of this beautiful area with plenty to see and do, beaches, shopping, interesting sights, great for snorkelling and good restaurants too.

Winter in Dénia

Winter in Dénia is extraordinary in many aspects: beaches are not maintained and may disapear all together after a serious storm; the days albeit most of the time sunny tend to be on the windy side; the town is under heavy construction and many venues are closed for the season. BUT! If you explore the area a bit you will discover the unexpected! Protected from the wind you will be bathing in the warm winter sun and be surrounded by nothing but the sound of nature. And then there is of course Lesley's place which provides you with what you need to protect yourself from the cold, humid nights. Although days are filled here by the sounds of urban life, nights are wonderfully quiet allowing you to get that well deserved sleep and wake up each morning ready for new adventures.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Peut-être un petit bémol peut-être sur la qualité du matelas du canapé. Pour nos filles cela suffisait. En tant qu'adulte je sentais les ressorts. Peut-être prévoir un micro-ondes et une cafetière électrique. Passer ses petits détails, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. N'hésitez pas c'est un petit coin de paradis.

Excellent séjour !

Excellent séjour dans cette maison parfaite et fonctionnelle. Le jardin est super et très bien entretenu, la piscine top et calme. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse avec vue sur le Montgo est un vrai bonheur. C'est une excellente adresse que nous conservons pour un prochain séjour. Merci pour tout et très bonne continuation Lesley et Mike.

Ants infestation Infestación de hormigas

Upon checking in we discovered that bedroom had ants infestation; chemicals used after our arrival to repel / clean made our stay impossible. I had to leave the rental unit and look for accommodation elsewhere , hopping with my son from hotel to hotel, at 9PM, with corresponding financial penalty. Owner contested my request for full refund, including COVID cleaning fees. In the end I got a full refund. Apparently Lesley's intent for good communication was there; most likely my cellphone was the culprit for less than optimum dialogue. Definitely I do not recommend the experience. Google translate: Al registrarnos, descubrimos que la habitación tenía una infestación de hormigas; Los productos químicos utilizados después de nuestra llegada para repeler / limpiar hicieron imposible nuestra estadía. Tuve que dejar la unidad de alquiler y buscar alojamiento en otro lugar, saltando con mi hijo de hotel en hotel, a las 9 p. m., con la correspondiente sanción económica. El propietario impugnó mi solicitud de reembolso completo, incluidas las tarifas de limpieza de COVID. Al final obtuve un reembolso completo. Aparentemente, la intención de Lesley de lograr una buena comunicación estaba ahí; lo más probable es que mi teléfono celular sea el culpable de un diálogo menos que óptimo. Definitivamente no recomiendo la experiencia.

superbe séjour à Denia

Le logement est très bien placé dans Denia, il est possible de se rendre rapidement aux plages, dans le centre de Denia, ou de se promener dans le Montgo et de faire ses courses. Le parking dans la résidence prévu pour la voiture est un plus. La propriété est calme, reposante, la piscine très bien, assez grande et peu fréquentée! et le jardin bien entretenu et propre, très agréable. à réserver sans hésiter !
