This was an exceptional place for friends and family weekend get away. Plenty of room and great spaces to gather. Very clean. Loved the historical info of how this was a Sunday house. Highly recommend and will stay there again if we are in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect. Very good instructions and amenities. The renters absolutely think of everything you would need to make your stay awesome. We went with four 60 year old couples. But even if a young family with kids came it would be just as awesome they would have plenty to keep them entertained. We will definitely recommend and also come back to stay.

What an amazing house! They have everything anyone would need! The pool was amazing. Hot tub had a little too much chlorine it was overwhelming, but it did feel good. All kinds of things to do for all ages! We fir sure will be back.

We came to Fredericksburg to celebrate my dad and brother’s birthday. The house had everything we needed! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed! A great amount of dishes for the whole family. The pool was great too! We all had a great time too! My dad accidentally left some stuff in his closet I contacted the host and they found his stuff and they are going to mail it back to him!! Thank you Joe for everything!!

This property was excellent for a girls retreat!! There were 6 of us / we each had our own space & plenty of bathroom's, etc! The pool and hot tub were clean as was the entire house! We especially liked the patio and living areas- lots of room to sit and visit! Joe was a very excellent communicator- replied to all texts and emails in a very timely fashion! We will definitely stay there again!

We were a party of 7 ladies that had a great time at the Cosmopolitan. The beds were comfy. The kitchen had all we needed and lots of room to spread out in the house. The pool and hot tub was a bonus along with the outdoor activities. We had a great time!

Excellent house with every amenity you can imagine from child locks on patio doors to a sleep pantry. Extra large hot tub and easy walk to the main attractions. We forgot some clothes at house which were sent back to us by UPS within days

Perfect for a girls’ weekend getaway! Home was comfortable with adequate space to spread out. We found that it was stocked with more than I have experienced in a vacation rental, complete with pool towels, bluetooth speaker, and exceptional barware. Beautiful decor with wonderful attention to detail and Joe was a great and responsive host. Will def stay at one of his properties again!

Perfect for a family

My mom, daughter, sister in law, niece, uncle, and myself enjoyed this property so much. Perfect location for shopping on Main Street. The accommodations were great, super comfortable, convenient, and fun. This house is beautiful and fun with its decorative design. It looks just like the pictures, if not better! We had an exceptional stay at the Cosmopolitan in Fredericksburg!

The property was nice and well appointed. We did not use the pool, it was quite cloudy. The hot tub was nice. The home is spacious. The only downfall about the property is that it's on the main street and the road noise was pretty loud and bad at all hours of the night. 3-6am was loud 18 wheelers and loud vehicles going by very frequently. The owner did provide "noise making machines" in the front two rooms, possibly to help mask the noise from the road. Other than that, great stay.

We came with 8 people and enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for all of us inside and outside the home. I especially appreciated that that there were enough dining chairs in the formal dining area to accommodate nine guests. The house was very clean with no bugs or dirt to speak of. The cleaning crew did a fantastic job! The outside area was also very clean and well kept with plenty of activities to keep us busy for our stay. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils, cookware, and tableware for all of us.The only reason I rate it with four stars is because several members of our party complained about the beds being uncomfortable. While my sleeping arrangements were comfortable because the mattress had a mattress pad, I did feel bad for those who were uncomfortable in their beds. The other four star rating is due to the noise coming from Main Street (which was heard from inside the bedroom.) Especially at night, I could hear cars driving and racing down Main Street from inside of the house. This is not the fault of the owner, but since I am used to staying outside of Fredericksburg city limits for a quieter atmosphere, this was a change for me. However, close proximity of the house was great because while it was a bit too far to walk down Main Street it was a quick two minute drive from all the activities. Overall, great place and value for the price!

As you mentioned, being so close to Main Street does come with the convenience of being just minutes from Fredericksburg's shops, restaurants, and attractions, though it can occasionally mean hearing traffic, especially on busy weekends.
