Paradise

We stayed two weeks and couldn’t have stayed a more beautiful villa. Gorgeous home, clean, comfortable and absolutely stunning views! The chefs and concierge were amazing as was the beach and hospitality ❤️Thank you

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mayatai! It would be perfect for two couples as the suites are on separate levels for complete privacy. The views are lovely and the beach was very walkable. We did rent a golf cart for the week so we could easily go into the village when we wanted.

Amazing!

I can't say enough about our stay here. When you are traveling to another country and don't have the awareness of what's available or where things are, it is SO incredibly helpful to have a team like we had. Heidy, our concierge coordinator, was available and took care of anything we needed or wanted. Anna, our housekeeper was lovely and kept our spaces pristine. Maverick, our land keeper, kept our outside spaces clean and neat. Marvin, our chef, cooked and prepared the most amazing meals. The house was perfect for our needs. It was quiet and peaceful with nice, fluffy towels and comfortable beds. These are some of my important must haves. Being right on the ocean was lovely and so relaxing. Next door is Mariposa, a beautiful resort that has a nice restaurant. This was a godsend for us on the days we didn't have our chef. I would highly recommend and look forward to staying at Mayatai again!!

Beachfront heaven

From the moment we arrived, Mayatai Beach Villa felt like stepping into a private slice of paradise. The villa is beautifully designed—spacious, spotless, and perfectly positioned right on the beach, with breathtaking ocean views and a shoreline just steps away. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, yet you’re still close enough to enjoy everything Placencia has to offer. Waking up to the sound of the waves, spending the day swimming or lounging by the water, and watching the sunset from the villa made every moment feel special. One of the true highlights of our stay was Chef Omar. His meals were absolutely outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted and showcased the best of local ingredients and Belizean flavors. Having such an incredible chef on-site elevated the entire experience and made each meal something to look forward to. Everything was well cared for and set up to make our stay comfortable and stress-free. We were able to pre order groceries and supplies we would need during our stay. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, but also completely spoiled. If you’re looking for a beautiful, tranquil beachfront villa with exceptional service and unforgettable food, Mayatai Beach Villa is a perfect choice. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.
