We had a wonderful stay. The condo was equipped with almost everything you would need for the pool and the beach, including towels, sunscreen, bug spray and more. Condo was very clean and situated right in front of the pool. Manager was available anytime I would call with questions. Great location, great condo.

Great place to relax and rejuvenate

We loved the beach and pools were really nice, enjoyed having access to beach chairs and boogie boards in our unit. Spacious enough for 6 people. We felt safe on property and it was easy to park and get to fun destinations with our rental car.

Family trip.

Nice place to stay. It is not close to town, which we were aware of so you need to be prepared to drive 30 or 40 minutes if you want to get to San Juan. Great access to the beach and it was pretty low-key which is what my nieces were looking for. We went to a lot of local places and a great food everyday.

Let’s start at the beginning… I never received an email with instructions on how to check in. Upon arrival at the gate we received our bracelets and dash board sign, no problem there, all good. Once we started driving to the apartment it was impossible to find it since there are no signs which one is which. We had to wait for a security guard to find our place, which took a little while. Once we found the building we had to find our parking spot which was numbered, however not very well marked so it was really hard to see, especially at night. Upon arrival at the room, I had to call the owner to obtain the code to unlock the door since like I mentioned I did not receive an emailThe room was cleaned for the most part, Except for a few dirty dishes. Place had all the accessories necessary to play and enjoy the different amenities such as, basketball tennis, mini golf, pickle ball, and pool gear.

It seems this email may have been missed or filtered, and we regret to hear any confusion that this may have caused.- The owner was happy to assist when you called and provided both the entry code and parking information over the phone. There is 24/7 security on-site to assist with navigating the property, and we appreciate your patience during check-in.- The cleaning team typically prepares the home thoroughly before each guest’s arrival, but the owner is following up with them to ensure all dishware is properly checked going forward.We’re always looking for ways to improve and appreciate your feedback.

Lovely stay

The condo was clean and well stocked with towels linens 2 beach chairs and beach equipment, kitchen equipment. It was very comfortable for our family of 6. The outside pool areas were amazing. Very relaxing and fun at night with the colored lights everywhere. the small beach area accessible on site was small but picturesque and felt like our own private beach. The town outside the gate was a little intimidating but we never felt unsafe. The drive to old town San Juan was approx 45 min and to El Yungue approx 25 min. A great stay and a gem of a place!

It was a great family fun get away. The place was clean and not busy and great location . People and staff were polite and helpful. The only thing is there is not many restaurants close by so meal planning would be recommended for some of the busy day.

Great family time!

Condo was very clean, equipped with chairs for the beach, cooler and pool toys for kids! I would definitely stay here again! Lots of pools and the private beach is just a short walk. I wish there was an on-site restaurant or snack bar so we wouldn’t have to leave all the time for food or to go to the grocery store.

Unit was well appointed, clean and full of fun equipment for use in the resort. Black stone grill was a real plus. A/C throughout was comfortable when you regularly empty the dehumidifier. The guest host was very responsive to a minor issue my family had a delightful stay. Lots of water venues for children and adults, along with access to the private beach on the ocean. Would stay there again!

This place was great for our stay with the grandkids. Lots of pools, access to the ocean,playgrounds. Being able to stock our own food was a plus. Drawbacks were that the bathrooms were not very well cleaned and the mattresses should be replaced.

Nice place!

Overall this was a lovely property and the amenities of the resort were very nice. We loved the pools, the beach, the mini golf and basketball court. The apartment is as advertised, and we appreciated that it was stocked with beach accessories to use and sports equipment. Unfortunately the lazy river is under construction so it is closed currently. The only problem was that the porch area was not usable. The drain did not function so the porch was flooded with about 0.5 in of standing water, leading to lots of mosquitos if you open the sliding door. We were still able to have a nice stay despite this.

Everything was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed some time at the resort but spent a lot of time away visiting sites. The pools were excellent. The beach too. We loved having the extra space that a hotel room doesn't offer. Enjoying drinks in the kitchen and living room area. Having 2 bathrooms.

We had a fantastic time. The complex is well maintained. Apartment is super clean. On site security and permited. The manager was super responsive. Maybe the best ever and we have stayed in some nice locations. Plenty of room in the kitchen. Wifi was better than home. Large TV. Lots of pool toys. Appliances and kitchen were perfectly setup. AC. Laundry. Nicely stocked tiny market near the entrance. Ready to head back.

Perfect family vacation

10/10 condo was spotless and well stocked with extras. Tons of pool/beach accessories (chairs, umbrella, beach towels, coolers, baby floaties, tubes, adult floating chair, basketball, putt putt equipment). Kitchen had everything you need( pots/pans, cups/plates, coffee makers, large insulated cups)even a electric flat top grill on the patio. Condo is right next to one of the pools. Washer/dryer with soap stocked was a big plus. Really anything you would need is in this house. The humidity is thick in PR but the humidifier in the hallway was great on controlling this. Just make sure you empty it out every few hours. Bodega at the entrance to the complex has everything you need but there is also a full size grocery store in Rio Grande about 13 minutes from the condo. My family loved this place and will definitely be back.

horrible service

The apartment was dirty, the owner of the apartment never answered emails, texts or calls. The apartment is full of cockroaches and insects. I will not recommend this location/apt to anyone

We will work to improve our consistency in cleanliness as this is a top concern of ours -We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival and as soon as you reached out we immediately contacted our cleaning services and pest control company. We offered immediate help through our on-the-ground concierge and an exterminator visit as soon as this concern was raised, but the offer was declined by your group -We were happy to provide you with a small refund due to the issues you reported and hope this helped to make up for the inconveniences experienced -We'll collaborate with our cleaning team since this is not consistent with our cleaning expectations to ensure this issue does not recur for future guests We continue to work to ensure every guest finds a short-term home that always meets or exceeds Evolves 4 core standards, a safe, clean, guest-ready, as-advertised vacation experience.

Condo great but had roaches

Booked condo at Auqatika for the week. We loved the condo, with the exception of having roaches! We found one first full day we was there, but hoped it was a fluke. We found 5 total before leaving. The condo was dirty when we arrived (not disgusting or nasty - just dirty, but thankfully they had plenty of cleaning supplies there so I cleaned it up easily. The property manager explain the water had been off periodically leading up to arrival so that was most likely the reason, so he said he’d refund cleaning fee - which we haven’t seen yet. We would have loved the condo had the roaches not been there! Pools were nice. Fully gated neighborhood in not so great location but we did feel safe.

There was some construction being done on the pools, in addition to the water being shut off, that most likely contributed to the issue. We'll refund the cleaning fee as promised. Mostly Great

This condo is right in the middle of the complex which would be good to know. It would have also been good to know that many nearby places were closed permanently, and some others only open on the weekends. That being said, a rental car is a must if you even need basic groceries or sunscreen etc... We loved the setup of the condo, being ground floor was nice for elderly. Also there are two parking spots that go with this unit, not just one as the listing says. Unfortunately some of the things we were excited to use were not usable such as the lights at the basketball court (huge bummer for our teens), the fountains, and the putt putt was in really poor shape almost not usable. This unit had an issue with mildew smell, but we could tell an effort was made to get some of the humidity out of the air so I am not sure much more could be done about that. Overall was a good experience. We left two boogie boards and 6 lazy river tubes so hopefully the next people can get some use out of those.

A few tweeks and it could have been 5 stars

We arrived and checking was easy enough, about a 40 minute ride from the airport. The condo itself was cute, but had a weird smell to it, that even after mopping ourselves we were unable to get rid off. The TV was missing a remote. so we were unable to use it during our stay, which honestly wasn't a big deal except for when the NBA finals started. The pools were a nice reprieve from the hot sands on the private beach. The major problem was there were days in which we did not have any water. Apparently they were rationing water, but did not let us guests know in advance. From 7pm to 5am, there was no water for 3 days straight. People were going to the pool with buckets just so they could flush the toilet. Communication would have been key here, but the timing of the water shut down was a poor choice.

Hi Johanna, we're glad you enjoyed certain aspects of this property, but sorry your stay fell short in other areas. - The homeowner is always available to help should guests reach out, but they did not hear from you while in residence. - They would have been happy to send their cleaners over if necessary or help you locate the TV remote. - We apologize that you were not notified of the water rationing. The homeowner only became aware of it after your stay. - There is a drought in Puerto Rico right now that has led to island-wide water rationing. We have updated the listing to warn guests before booking about the water shortage, and we alerted all upcoming reservations. We are very sorry for any inconvenience you felt, and we encourage future guests to reach out should they need anything!
