The resort dictates the type of lock we must use. Next time you book, please reach out to our team and we can find a unit that is easier to access. Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your arrival experience wasn’t as smooth as it should have been. Your reservation was made online late the night before check-in, and once we received your signed rental agreement and identification, your arrival instructions were promptly sent over. We understand how frustrating it can be when technology doesn’t cooperate, and we regret the inconvenience with the initial door code. As soon as we became aware of the glitch, a new code was issued right away. Our records show that multiple team members from both our Operations and Reservations teams were in contact with you to help get you into the condo as quickly as possible. It seems there may have been some confusion, but the “security” referenced in your review was actually a member of our on-call team, who was able to help right away. We genuinely apologize for any miscommunication during that time and appreciate your patience. Regarding the building alarm, fire drills and system tests are managed by the resort HOA and are required for safety. While outside of our control, we understand how this could be disruptive. All property codes—including beach, pool, and elevator access—are included in your personalized digital guest guide for easy reference throughout your stay. We truly hope that despite the hiccups at check-in, you were able to enjoy a relaxing and memorable getaway. We value your feedback and will continue working to make every guest experience smoother and more seamless.
