This was a great spot and exactly what we were looking for! My wife and I were looking for a place to stay near Peninsula State Park for our wedding weekend, and this place couldn't have worked out better! Very cool piece of land tucked back in the woods, but still close to Ephraim and the park. This made it easy for us to get in and out of the park for our ceremony!Very secluded and private, which makes for a great get-away spot! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Quaint cottage in the woods,This is a very beautiful property tucked in the rolling woodlands of Northern Door County with close access on foot, bike, or car to Ephraim. We enjoyed the fall colors surrounding the home and the dark night skies filled with stars. Great set up of the home with ample seating, kitchen table, game or puzzle table, and a great front deck overlooking the woods or a rear firepit to enjoy your evenings. We couldn't have been happier with everything in good working condition and comfortable beds. We will be back.

Great location. The home is clean and organized and seems fairly recently renovated. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful, quiet property. Owner had great communication and helpful information.Only negative was the tub/shower downstairs was aawkward. But we'd definately come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Evan Woods. The property was super quiet and remote, yet 5 mins from Ephraim. Perfect location! We saw several turkeys and deer. The house was very clean and well stocked. Only issue we had was with the TV. Starlink would freeze up all the time, making it almost impossible to watch anything. The remote control seemed to stick, too. Not a huge issue for us, but thought I'd mention it. Regardless, we would definitely return!! Highly recommend for a quiet DC getaway!!

The cabin was super cozy and in a great, secluded location. There are quite a lot of check-out tasks to do upon leaving, including stripping beds, that we didn’t love and need to have time accounted for, but overall it was lovely!

My husband and I were looking for a quiet, peaceful house to stay with our dog in Door County and were lucky enough to find Jim's beautiful cabin! Not only did the accommodations provide everything we needed, but the location was perfect for visiting the bay side of the Door and it was approximately 30 minutes to venture out to the state parks along Lake Michigan. We appreciated the quiet and serenity of the place so much that we spent the majority of our time just enjoying the cabin, eating meals 'at home', walking around the woods and using the outdoor fire pit-day or night! Our dog felt right at home, curling up on any of the area rugs, and watching for deer from the large patio. It was a wonderful stay and as others have said, we hope to come back!When arriving, do check the green address plate, and signage at the entrance of the driveway to make sure you're at the right place. Our GPS took us to an incorrect location on our first try.

Great stay in Door County

This home was a great size for 5 adults and one dog. The interior is very pretty and clean, with all the amenities we needed for our stay. It is in a great location, only about a 10 minute drive from most everything you’d want to do on the bay side of Door County. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!
