Designed for your comfort in mind, this quiet island getaway has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing trip to the Golden Isles. This newly updated condo is just a mile off the causeway, 2 miles to the beach and Village and 18 miles to Jekyll Island. It is the perfect home base for all of your island hopping and site seeing.
The upstairs primary bedroom with ensuite full bath includes a brand new king mattress, new sheets, two large inflatable mattresses, 40' smart TV, fans, blankets and a sound machine so you can peacefully dream of all your adventures. The upstairs secondary bedroom has two twin beds, a 40' smart TV, a ceiling and bedside fan, a sound machine and extra blankets. The extra sheets and comforter for the pull-out couch in the living room are in the primary bedroom closet, along with a baby/pet gate.
The main level living room includes a desk and monitor, a 55' smart TV, an electric fireplace, lots of games and coloring books, a 4 seat dining table and view to the enclosed back porch with chairs and ottomans.
The kitchen includes all of your cooking utensils, cookware, drip coffee machine, single pour coffee maker, blender, food processor and plenty of dinnerware. The dishwasher and adjoining laundry room with a washing machine and dryer make for easy cleanup. There is a rolling soft cooler, several beach chairs, pool floats, beach towels and beach toys for your convenience. Just bring your bathing suit and you'll be ready to go!
Dog walking areas are right across from the two parking spaces for this unit as well as in the front of the complex near the pool and fitness center.
Award winning restaurants, groceries and shopping are right around the corner...so close you can walk. A couple miles down the road is Gascoigne Bluff Park along the Frederica River with lots of shade from the beautiful live oaks for dog walking, a bamboo garden, pier for fishing and crabbing and disc golf. Be sure to read the historical markers to learn how the St. Simons live oaks were used to build the USS Constitution. Other activities around the island include boating, kayak adventures, dolphin tours, golf cart rentals, day spas, horseback riding, year-round bird-watching, skeet shooting, a boat casino and several historical monuments. There is also plenty of world-class golf, traditional, hot or beach yoga, pickleball, tennis, volleyball and surf or skim boarding to do around town, not to mention the 4 miles of beautiful beach where you can catch the sunrise, search for shells and gaze at a sky full of stars at night. Well trained dogs under voice control are allowed off lease from Labor Day through Memorial Day.

I have been learning about and enjoying St. Simons since getting married here in 2005. I think you will agree there is nowhere quite like it. The beaches are beautiful but there is also so much rich history, award-winning cuisine and preserved natural habitats, you can't help but find something special to love about this area. I am thrilled to say I am finally a local after living in the Atlanta area most of my life. The change of pace here is remarkable. I hope you get to be here long enough to experience that and see all the charm and treasures of SSI and the Golden Isles.

I am excited to have you stay in our cozy condo. The location, walkability and amenities were very important to us during our search for the perfect place to host visitors. Not many communities have a fitness center and dog walking areas, plus this neighborhood's pool is one of the best. Just about everything you may want to do is a short 10 minute walk, bike ride or drive. Being able to quickly get on and off the island makes it easier to explore all the surrounding islands and towns. All of your necessities can be found in the Winn-Dixie shopping center right next to the condo community and when you go a few miles more, you can shop, dine and explore to your heart's content. The welcome book at the condo will offer suggestions for things to do along with all the favorite spots among locals.

I dedicated a lot of time and energy into making our Island Hopper condo as comfortable as my own home. With two kids and two dogs, I know what it is like to travel with the entire family, what can happen unexpectedly, dealing with differing preferences and how important having a stocked kitchen and a quiet, good night's rest can be on a trip. I want nothing more than for you and your family to have a safe, fun and worry-free experience as you see as much of the island as possible while you are here. This condo is in the middle of it all, complete with easy access to the causeway, peace and quiet, a pool, area to enjoy the outdoors and ability to make your favorite home cooked meals if desired.
