We loved staying at the K1 condo! It was in a great location to the pool and gym. It was so clean and well kept! The parking spot could not be any better. So easy to walk to the marketplace. We loved it!!

Great stay!

The condo was just what we needed for our tournament. Close to the pool and well supplied. Check in was easy and we enjoyed the location very much. Would stay here again next time we are in Kona.

It was such a wonderful stay! Everything was nicer than expected within the home. We loved our visit! Thank you! One tiny feedback is that I wish there were more trash bags provided for a longer stay just to make it easier to take trash out daily. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful, the communication was great. How can anyone not enjoy paradise?

Perfect place to stay for our vacation!

The house was clean, plenty of room for all 5 of us. Loved having a kitchen to cook a few meals in and eat outside on the patio. Great views and enjoyed seeing all the wildlife around the resort. The resort had great places to eat and shop.

Survived a tropical storm

Spent 9 days here, great area close to local shops, golf, restaurants, and Abay. Nice pool that we all enjoyed, especially the kids.The only issue was there was a little bit of a roach problem, I understand it is the tropics and the property manager sent someone over with traps. Great place in Waikoloa

We loved our stay! Our family ranged in age from 8-75. It was very comfortable for our group of 7 with the pull out couch in the loft. Beds were very comfortable. There was a bath and beach towel for each person. Washer and dryer was definitely needed. We loved being able to walk to the King and Queens shops and A-bay. Beach chairs, toys, umbrella were also available. The pool was beautiful and a great place to hang after long days hiking, excursions, or at the beach. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again in the future!

Comfortable and Wonderful

The home was beautiful and very comfortable. We had our adult children with us (7 adults in our group). With 3 full baths and 3 bedrooms, there was plenty of room for us to sleep and quickly get ready for the day. One son slept on floor mattresses in the 'loft' area and was comfortable. The kitchen had the equipment and utensils we needed to cook our meals. The parking space was just outside the front door, very convenient. We had a second car and the host responded quickly with clear directions on where to park in the complex. The view from the back onto the golf course was great, no backyard neighbors. Grocery shopping to the north at Foodland was convenient. Costco in Kona was a further. Nice places to eat just outside the complex at Kings and Queens. We loved it here and would stay again and recommend it.

Infested

Unit was infested with roaches and bugs. Bringing more bug spray and bug traps was not the solution to the infestation. Offering to fumigate the unit while we were staying there was unacceptable. Took a shower with roaches, washed dishes with bugs and roaches in the sink. Unit description said tv in 1st floor bedroom, there was none. Just plain out terrible. All I got was apologies. Definitely cannot recommend to anyone.

Trouble Early

We had a little trouble checking in. We wanted to drop off items purchased in the refrigerator before check-in but getting into the property is done electronically and the code opens at 4:00 sharp, so we had to get a Styrofoam cooler even though the property was cleaned and vacant. When we got in the refrigerator wasn't working and there were burnt out lightbulbs, etc. We got some more ice and used our new cooler to keep our food for the night. The next day a maintenance guy came out and apparently fixed everything while we were out. From that day forward everything went smooth---no problems. The property was fairly well supplied and comfortable. I would recommend this property--just don't hope to gain access early.

Need new property management

This is a very thorough review… Negatives: The property management company is extremely poor and does not sufficiently meet the needs of this rental. Prior to booking, they were responsive to my questions within a timely manner. As my reservation date approached, there were multiple messages sent with no reply (3+ with no response within a few weeks). We ended up needing to call the phone number directly to get any response. There was a conflict of information on the property details vs what past guests were commenting and the management company never answered our requests prior to arrival. The property does have a good supply of chairs, umbrellas and toys which was our initial inquiry that was NOT answered; thus, we packed and shipped our own chairs and beach toys. This was a very poor communication on the part of the property management. Upon checking into the property, the futon was broken. The property advertised sleeping for 7, without the futon working, the sleeping only allows 6. We had to call and wait and also prove to them through pictures that the futon was broken. They only referred us to a cushion that was in a closet as a substitute for this bed. We also took pictures upon arrival to document damages prior to arrival: markings on walls, pulled carpet, and broken futon- these pictures were texted to the number requesting “feel free to reply or give us a call or text if you need anything during your stay.” Very basic supplies provided within the location- one mi

Amazing experience! Highly recommend it.

I just have no words to describe how we felt. It was amazing! This townhouse is the best I have ever visited. First, we loved how clean it was. Everything was well organized and ready for people. Huge size of the townhouse makes you feel relaxed and at the same time luxury. Secondly, big windows- natural light was there all the time yet the air conditioner helps to feel cool when it is so hot outside! Secondly, great beds and bedding and liens. Everything is sparkling clean and beds are sturdy and stable. Thirdly, location is SUPErB!! In few min you can reach good court or bar and the most beautiful.beach on the island! We were super happy there at the townhouse. They even have hand mixer - so much fun and so much useful!!:)

Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time in this VRBO. Everything was convenient. Only minus was that pull out couch was listed as a bed but when we got there the couch had a sign on it that said broken. We found a cushion in the closet and were able to use that. Not the most comfortable option but so tired by end of day, didn’t mind.

Great location

The location of the property was perfect for us, it was a short distance to many beaches and to the two shopping areas. We stayed during Christmas 2019, the amenities of the resort were great, we barbecued every night, the pool felt like ice water (ocean was warmer), the other visitors or owners were friendly! There was plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was stocked well - there wasn’t any steak knives, we just used the cutting knives provided. Thank you for providing beach towels, detergent (dish and laundry) to start us off. However, for being a managed rental property, it didn’t meet our cleanliness standards, the dishwasher was grimy, the island looked like it had water damage, we had at least 10 cockroaches over the 12 days we stayed, and while we were packing up on the last day, checking under the couch cushions for lost items, it looked like it had never been vacuumed. Other recommendations for the property would be to provide a binder (some rental properties provide) with any expectations for cleaning or taking care of the property, and check out procedures. It would be nice to have a hose in the back so that you could clean off the outdoor patio furniture (bird poop), light bulb replacements, add a more thourough description of what is at the location for the person arriving (I.e hair dryer). Lastly, the property manager texted us before we arrived and the day we arrived, it would’ve been nice to have them text us half way through our stay to ask if we needed anything or had any questions.
