The home itself is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. It is located up a hill, but once you arrive, the property is very nice. Unfortunately, our experience was significantly impacted by a few major issues that I feel need to be addressed.The biggest issue was the refrigerator. We arrived with over 1,000 worth of food, and the refrigerator was not working from day one. We had already been traveling with our food on ice, expecting to place everything in the refrigerator and freezer once we arrived. Unfortunately, the entire refrigerator was not cooling. By the following day, the refrigerator had started to cool slightly, but the freezer still was not working at all. As a result, our food spoiled.I contacted management and was told there was no after-hours service technician available. I did miss a return call due no service but called back immediately and received no answer. I also sent a text message and never received a response. What was most disappointing is that no one followed up with us afterward by phone or email regarding the issue or the food we lost. For a property that costs over 1,000 per night, having a functioning refrigerator and freezer should be a basic expectation.The other concern was the outdoor upkeep. I completely understand that this is a property surrounded by nature and that insects and spiders are to be expected. However, the amount of large spiders and spider webs around the patio, walkways, and common outdoor areas was overwhelming.

This property was absolutely breathtaking from the amazing views to the beautifully designed interior. The pictures do not do it justice. My friends and I had the best time. The check in/check out process was seamless and the communication from the property manager was efficient. I whole-heartedly recommend this cabin and look forward to booking with them again.
As soon as we arrived, we saw this beauty in the sky. It was a sign that it was going to be an amazing weekend.

We had a fantastic stay with a group of 10 girlfriends. It’s 5 to Mercier Orchards and only about 10 min from Blue Ridge. The management company was diligent about following up on our stay and we felt very welcomed. There are so many places to relax in large groups and the kitchen was well stocked. We didn’t realize that 2 of the beds were in a detached garage, but that wasn’t a problem because we were able to use the pull out sofa bed and the futon in the house so we could all stay together. Everyone raved and we would definitely stay here again.

Better than advertised

We enjoy renting different cabins every year in July and I am kind of particular when choosing our cabins as the cabin really make the experience. We have stayed in some really nice cabins, but this might be my favorite one to date. The details go far beyond the pictures. Every bed was extremely comfortable. Every part of the cabin and furniture was high quality. The outdoor furniture included. This will be the first cabin we book again, because of the quality, the view and the location were all top notch. The management company was incredible too. They went out of their way to contact us to let us know we could check in early which really meant alot. I left my pillow at the property and the insisted on paying for the shipping to return. I give both the property and the management company my highest recommendation for your consideration. Only recommendation would be to remove or replace the foosball table. That was one thing we looked forward to, but that is probably the only thing in the whole property that has seen better days.. Great job guys and thanks for sharing this amazing place with us. Great memories made!!!!

We had such a wonderful family vacation in Blue Ridge. So many fun places to visit, hike and the town is adorable. Privacy Peak was lovely, clean, well decorated and just as it was described on the website. We had a slight confusion with one of the access codes when we first arrived, but was quickly resolved with a short call to guest services. The woman I spoke with was great! The only thing I would note is that the garage bedroom is not attached to the house and does not have a restroom. Although it may have said this in the description and I overlooked it. It was not an issue, as we had all adults with us, but might be problematic if you have younger kiddos you are planning to have stay in that room. I would highly recommend this home if you’re planning to visit the Blue Ridge area!
