Murphy's Retreat is a SPECTACULAR NEW 3400 sq ft Modern Cabin in Blue Ridge/Morganton, GA with 4 Bedrooms & 3.5+ Baths perfect for a family or friends getaway located on 2.5 acres of North GA Heaven. There are amazing views with floor to ceiling windows and access to 1200 sq ft of deck space from every room. Murphy’s Retreat is located less than 3 min from Lake Blue Ridge & 12 min to the heart of downtown Blue Ridge with easy access to the property (4+ wheel drive not required but always handy) and plenty of parking. BRING YOUR BOAT for a lake getaway. Ample & easy parking for your boat / boat trailer on our property during your stay.

The main floor has an oversized, open concept with a fully stocked kitchen, dining space for 10 and an oversized living area. Also on this level are two Master Ensuite bedrooms each with king beds along with a laundry room and half bath. All rooms lead to the spacious upper deck with an impressive 2-sided gas fireplace.

On the lower level you’ll find an oversized bar with a second full-size refrigerator, pool table, den area and two additional bedrooms. Enjoy family / friend time playing pool & hanging out around the bar. The 3rd bedroom has a king bed plus a desk & elliptical if you need to work / exercise while you spend time in the mountains. The 4th bedroom has a king bed and twin bunk beds. There is also a Jack and Jill bathroom with separate, private oversized vanities for each bedroom.

From the lower terrace level, you can access another large deck with fireplace and both fenced in side yards - complete with a modern, gas fire pit & Adirondack chairs.

Come and enjoy the beautiful North Georgia Mountains at Murphy’s Mountain Retreat.

Maximum Sleeping capacity of 9 adults or a combination of 10 including kids (strictly monitored) to make sure our guests stay meets their expectations.

We enjoyed staying at this cabin. It was well stocked with everything you need and we really liked the new build, modern furnishings. The only note is that the road to the cabin is not paved, however outside of that it isn't a difficult drive. We were a group of 4 couples. Would def return!

You walk into the cabin and see the view straight ahead and it is beautiful and peaceful. Then you take some time to walk around and take it all in, So spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms were all a great size. Beautiful bathrooms and plenty of fireplaces to keep you warm. Everything you could need in a kitchen and towels galore. Host was so communicative and you could see he really wants each guest to have a great experience. Treat yourself. You won’t be sorry.

I can’t say enough positive feedback on this stay. We have stayed in soooo many rentals through various platforms and NEVER have we felt like we were truly staying in a home we could live in. The degree to which the house and kitchen were stock made cooking easy peasy, we did some laundry and went home with clean clothes as well. Not having to ration one roll of paper towels or toilet paper (if you know you know). All of the furnishings were high quality from the beds to the outdoor deck furniture. The peace and quiet and the view were incredibly relaxing. For a family with small kids having the heavy stair gate was essential as well! We felt very comfortable with the kids being out on the deck and in the enclosed side spaces. Highly recommend for famili. When it comes to our host, Blake was exceptional. So much attention to detail and FAST communication. If we ever come stay in this area again we will definitely stay here. I could keep going on an on but this was truly the best trip.

What an amazing weekend with friends in this immaculate cabin with breathtaking views. Absolutely the most luxurious and comfortable property we have ever stayed in. Excellent location and fully stocked everything! We ended up not even going out to eat because of how convenient it was to cook. From the interior to the exterior, the owner thought of everything. We are looking forward to returning with our family!

Amazing house and the best stocked house I have ever stayed in. We cooked and grilled gourmet meals for the family and we were very happy with all the kitchen tools and cookware. The best part is drinking coffee out on the porch looking at the long range view in the mornings, and drinking wine and watching the sunset in front of the outdoor fireplace at dusk. Beautiful design and everything was very well thought out and very relaxing. Close to downtown blue ridge and hiking trails with waterfalls. We will definitely rent here again sooner than later.

AMAZING!

This home is amazing! Upon entering the home, the mountain views took our breath away. The home is gorgeous. We can't wait to stay again. The communication with Blake was quick and easy. The home is fully stocked with anything you could ever possibly need for a vacation. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of towels. The home is very clean. We enjoyed the drive in movie theater and spent time strolling through the shops in downtown. Our other time was spent outside on the deck playing board games, reading and watching the sunset.

Perfect!

Beautiful views, perfect home, great location! So close to Lake Blue Ridge and an easy 15 ish min drive to Downtown Blue Ridge. Great communication and plenty of everything you need which is a super nice touch. No need to bring or shop for toilet paper, paper towels, ziplocks, etc all supplied with a FULLY stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the pool table everyday as a family and the downstairs bar is awesome. Furniture & beds all comfortable. Love the gas fireplaces, so easy to enjoy. Will be back!

Lovely home and beautiful view

One of the most well appointed, clean, comfortable and cozy homes we've stayed in the Blue Ridge area. Great open social space in both the upstairs and downstairs. Owner is generous with all supplies (kitchen, paper goods, towels). Often, I have found that homes only supply the bare minimum, and we have to pack up our 'whole home' to cover the basics. The owner was a text away - incredibly personable and helpful. My family was super impressed by the home, sad to leave and want to come back for another stay at this home. I give this home and its owner a 5 out of 5. Impressive.

Most beautiful cabin

What a treat! This cabin is magnificent. It was immaculate, and anything you could think of they have it. Literally, the kitchen and laundry room are fully stocked with everything one could want.The furniture in every room is stunning. The rooms are fitted with gorgeous linens and the bathrooms are stocked better than any hotel. The owners really went all out on this cabin. The road is easy to access, and plenty of parking.We loved it and will definitely be back.

Spectacular Experience

Our stay at this property exceeded all expectations. We have stayed at other luxury cabins in the area, though this one truly felt like a tailored experience beyond the others. The host was incredibly communicative and provided a vast amount of information from directions to the cabin, to instructions on how to navigate certain aspects within. The property is stunning and has anything you could think of you may need. The kitchen was stocked (well beyond my own at home even) and any ancillary items such as paper towels, dish soap, etc. were readily available. The bedding also felt like what you’d sleep on at the Four Seasons. The cleanliness standards were also top tier. This is something I feel many properties lack, as it is easy for things to be missed; we did not come across anything we felt needed further attention. Lastly, it was quite easily accessible via the roads/ drive. Other properties we have stayed at often have comparable views, but are up incredibly steep, winding roads that become impassible during any winter weather. While we did not experience such weather this time, I would not have been concerned about accessing or leaving in the property in inclement weather. 10/10, would recommend this property to anyone looking for luxury in the mountains.

Amazing getaway

Our stay exceeded expectations. The mountain cabin was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The views from the top deck are out of this world. Communicating with Blake was super easy and he even accommodated a last minute request. Check in/out directions were simple to follow. We couldn’t recommended this place enough.

Great Modern Mountain House and View!

This new modern design house was outstanding inside and out. The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed spending time on the deck which had an amazing view, especially at sunset. Being close to Lake Blue Ridge and Downtown Blue Ridge was a plus. My family and I would definitely stay here again.
