TURTLE BEACH COTTAGE
Dieses geräumige 2. Stock Wohnung mit einem Schlafzimmer befindet sich direkt am Turtle Beach Bucht St. Kitts. Diese Wohnung im 2. Stock ist sehr privat und ruhig direkt am Strand. Es gibt keinen besseren Ort auf St. Kitts zum Schnorcheln am besten zugänglich Korallenriff direkt vor der Haustür. Ausgezeichnete Strand Kämmen entlang der Uferlinie und Gezeiten-Pools. Diese Wohnung ist komplett eigenständig, bestehend aus einem Schlafzimmer, Küche, zwei Aufenthaltsräume, mit einem Schlafsofa, ein Doppelbettcouch, einem Balkon über dem Strand, Wireless Internet und Kabel-TV.
Das Schlafzimmer ist mit Klimaanlage, Deckenventilator und vollständig für alle, die mit Klängen des Meeres und der frischen tropischen Luft schlafen gerne gezeigt. Das Schlafzimmer hat ein Himmelbett Kingsize-Bett und einem großen Flach abgeschirmten TV. Ein Badezimmer mit Dusche. Eine Küchenzeile und eine große Terrasse mit Pavillon und eine fantastische Aussicht auf den Strand, Riffe, Booby Island und Nevis.
Das Strandhaus ist über zwei Brücken durch die natürlichen Mangroven abgerufen. Eine Brücke greift auf das Ferienhaus über einen Teich von der fast ein Morgen-Eigenschaft. A 5 Autominuten gelangen Sie zum Beach Front Pavilion and Spice Mill Restaurant nehmen für exquisite Abendessen. Salz-Plage für den besten Sonnenuntergang Getränke und Tapas! Reservierungen sind erforderlich.
Gibt es weitere Restaurants und viele weitere Strände, Autofähre nach Nevis, Wassersport, Segeln, alle innerhalb von 5 Minuten mit dem Auto. Eine 15-minütige Fahrt bringt Sie zu vielen anderen Restaurants, Golf, Casino und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu nehmen.

Unser Hauptebene Ocean Song Lounge ist für die Unterhaltung mit einer kompletten Küche, kommerziellen Ehre bar, große Terrassen mit zwei kleinen Sälen, Gäste-WC, Waschküche, Frischwasser Dusche im Freien, im Schatten Wohnzimmer mit Sofa und Stühle entworfen.

Wir wissen, dass unsere Gäste sowohl von der Turtle Beach Cottage und Ocean Song Villa wird die ausschließliche Verwendung der geräumigen Strand Gemeinschaftsraum mit Ehre Bar, Liegestühle, Schnorchelausrüstung, Angelruten, Boogie Boards, Brettspiele, Outdoor-Dusche, Waschraum genießen und eine voll ausgestattete Küche perfekt für schüren eine Mahlzeit am Strand. Die besten zugänglich Korallenriff der Insel zum Schnorcheln ist vor der Haustür. Dies ist auch eine der besten Buchten auf der Insel für Kite-Surfen.

Turtle Beach ist ein ruhiger Naturstrand. Es ist nicht eine präparierte Strand und wir erleben Sargassosee Weed von Zeit zu Zeit. Cockelshel Beach ist zehn Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und es gibt viele schöne Strände in der Nähe. Wenn Sie die Natur und die Ruhe lieben, werden Sie unser Haus lieben!

Everything about this property is incredible. Beautiful natural beaches, sparkling water, unreal views, full bar, and you hardly a soul. Franklyn was an amazing help, and we had chef Wayne come cook more food than we could eat. This is at the top of our list of places to come back to.

Mildly apprehensive to leave such a glowing review because I want to keep coming back to this place and know it will get booked up. But Penny and Richard, wow, just the best hosts and such a serene location with the best hangout zones, best beach, best part of the island. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Cannot wait to return - thank you also for being so kind about the craziness with the departing flights being canceled and offering assistance with accomodations. 11 out of 10.

Incredible view and property!

Perfect for those wanting direct connection to the ocean - the sound of the waves, delightful breezes, warm water swimming and outdoor shaded and sunny spots can’t be beat. Having property to yourself in the morning and after 5 makes it extra nice. The seaweed was about a 3-4 foot strip with lots of sand still available for chairs - no smell and no big deal to me to rake a path thru to the ocean. Stay was heavenly.

Relaxing!

Great cottage! Details in every aspect top notch! Many little "sitting places" perfect for reading or watching the birds and surf. I finished 3 books! Short beach walk to the cove where there are a few beach bars and food. Penny always responded quickly and happily on any questions we had setting up our stay. Richard and Penny supply a very informative paper covering almost everything imaginable to prepare and engage while there! Franklyn (on site) was absolutely superb in being available, recommending, setting up, and assisting in anything we needed. We loved the place, its people, and the stay!

Beautiful piece of paradise!

Wow this property has the most stunning photogenic views! We had an amazing week here, our boys loved snorkelling & swimming, the wildlife provides a lot of entertainment, from turtles to crabs to monkeys we loved watching them all. The property is well managed, the one problem we had (caused by a turtle on the beach!) was fixed with super speed! Good basics in the kitchen which people had left, oil, sauces as well as eggs, bread & water provided initially at the start of our stay. You will need to stock up on the first day or have a car to get to the supermarket in Basseterre regularly as there are no shops nearby. Overall just amazing location, wildlife & beautiful views are well worth the visit!

Little Slice of Heaven!

This is an out-of-the-way, open-air, natural beauty, a private little estate, right on the water. A few of the things we loved about it were being on a secluded beach, the sound of the waves, the cool breezes that rolled through the open windows, watching the stars every night, the reef right in our back yard, the fish and monkeys, pelicans and sandpipers. It seemed like a time warp where the whole world just slowed down. We were there during the off season (October) which we think is the way to go. It's fifteen minutes drive to great restaurants (also on the water - there's a theme developing here...We are already thinking ahead to our next visit to this beautiful gem of a place on the planet.

Relaxing ,fun , and views out of this world.

When we chose to rent Richard and Pennie cottage we were hoping it wasnt just another photo fix. We have rented a vacation home in past and it wasn’t as it was on line. But this cottage is what it is displayed as on line. It is a beautiful place and a very relaxing stay. It was everything we wanted and more for our island experience . Richard and Pennie were the nicest people . They went beyond to make sure we had a true island experience . We will be back to stay again. The people on st Kitts was very kind and the food was great. Everything we done while there was backed by the helpfulness of the island People . Loved everything about our trip to the turtle beach cottage . Thanks Richard and Pennie .

Exceptionally Excellent Experience

The cottage exceeded our greatest expectations. The interior is like Chip and Joanna Gains of HGTV's Fixer Upper does Oceanside. It is perfect. The decks are great for sunrises, sunbathing, and the magnificent views. There are lots of great restaurants close by. There are tons of things on the island to do. Our favorite: zip lining, it was a blast! The owners are a known family with generations on the island. When making reservations, we were asked where we were staying. All we had to say was the owners' first names. Everyone knows them. These owners designed and built the cottage, they take great pride in it, and it shows. This cottage is on the cover of the tourism's association visitor guide! Overall, this rental is six stars.

Best Stay Ever

The online descriptions and information about Turtle Cottage only told a small part of the story. The cottage is so much more magnificent in person. The location was truly paradise. The owners have created a one-of-a-kind home away from home. The is living space is spacious and beautifully decorated with a Caribbean vibe. The bedroom was especially beautiful. We didn't know what to expect with the communal areas that are shared with the Ocean Song and other cottage located just up the hill. It turned out to be a great time to share the beach and bar with like minded traveler. The property manger was extremely helpful and had lots of suggestions on what to do and where to go. When we left St Kitts he took us to the ferry and organized a taxi to take us to the airport in Revis. The owners gave us lots of information before we arrived and were very helpful after we arrive.

The PERFECT Getaway

We found Turtle Beach Cottage through a random advertisement in a local email, and I am SO thankful that we did! It was the absolute perfect getaway. Ricky and Penny provide so much information before even stepping foot on the island, such as restaurants to try, hikes to take, and so much more! The island is BEAUTIFUL, and we may be biased, but we think Turtle Beach is the most beautiful part. The cottage is stunning with breathtaking views and the Property Manager, Yellow, was a pleasure to work with - even teaching my husband how to open a coconut he had found on the beach! The Beach Lounge is the perfect place to spend the day, and the walk to Cockleshell Beach is so easy, and filled with local monkeys! We took Ricky & Penny’s recommendation and visited LobsterFest at Reggae Beach Bar. Definitely a can’t miss! We also loved spending the day sipping drinks at Shipwreck! The only thing I’d change about our trip is to stay longer - 3 nights was not enough! Do yourself a favor and come experience this beautiful island and cottage for yourself!

Turtle Beach is about 30 minutes from the airport in St Kitts, but you will need to rent a Jeep, which we did thru Bullseye rental. The road is pretty rough. Other than the bedroom, the cottage is NOT air conditioned, and it gets extremely hot. The water is gorgeous, but the seaweed was pretty awful this week. Also, no dishwasher. The view is incredible, maybe the best on the island. We drove the entire island twice, and we were always excited to get back to our little cottage. Overall, I would recommend this rental as long as you understand that this is an upstairs cottage with a small kitchen area, bathroom and two living areas with no air conditioning (other than the bedroom) and it is HOT. It was fine for us because we stayed outside most of the time. Owners were fantastic.

Paradise realized

OMG where do I start. This is the most amazing, secluded property in paradise. My daughter treated me for my 60th birthday. Everything about this this stay was over the top. The property owner Richard stayed in contact up until arrival. The property manager Mr.Franklin was a godsend. He arranged a chef for my daughter and I and the food was outstanding. He arranged for our trip to Nevis and made sure we were looked after. We even got a tour of the marketplace. We felt like family. This place was outstanding and literally on the water. I would go back in a heartbeat. The villa was clean and spacious, and the bed was super comfy. I can't thank you all enough for an amazing stay. The decor was amazing and definitely had a women's touch to it. I also arranged for a local mobile massage therapist that gave me a heavenly massage on the balcony to sound of the crashing waves. Fantastic Location

This was our second stay at Turtle Beach. Previous stay was in the studio apartment by the same owner as this beachside property. The location is amazing--right on the beach but you need a car if you want to venture further than Cockleshell beach which is the next bay over and is in walking distance. The challenges for us were that by coming in September just about everything at Cockleshell Beach is closed so not a good month to come. Also, it's incredibly hot and the cottage only has air conditioning in the bedroom. The living areas have doors and windows that can be opened but it is still extremely warm and without screens on the doors quite a few mosquitos. If you are expecting the standard VRBO tidy generic environment with Wayfair furniture and decor, this is not the place for you. Cottage is very lived in. It's what you would expect if your friends offered you the use of their house while they were out of town--fridge with food in it, drawers with random items in them, etc. I would definitely recommend this location in other months but for sure not September.

PERFECT HONEYMOON!

The Turtle Beach Cottage is a tranquil, private dream house (not much of a "cottage" at all)! We stayed 7 nights for our honeymoon. Turtle Beach, only 5 steps from the deck, and completely yours! The beach was empty for most of our stay; only shared a day or two with a small group of kite surfers. The house and property was very well kept - everything was beautiful. All the snorkeling equipment was there for us to use and when we ventured only 20 feet or so off the shore - we saw a plethora of ocean life. It is quite amazing how close you are to some of the best snorkeling on the island! The best part of the day - waking up and opening all the French doors in the house, allowing the breeze to flow through, and sipping coffee on the deck looking out to the beautiful views of Nevis and the Ocean. The location was truly stunning, really a Caribbean dream vacation. Thank you Ricky and Penny for your hospitality. We appreciate all the thought you give to your tenants. The quick communication throughout our planning and our stay was absolutely 5-star service! Thank you for giving us a trip to remember forever!!

BEST vacation of our lives! 3rd time's a charm!

We've visited St. Kitts many times, but this stay was our best. It was all because of the beach cottage. The location is better than we've ever experienced. We've stayed in other properties on the island, and this one FAR EXCEEDED all the others. The ocean breeze was felt in every room. Nights enjoying the crashing waves and twinkling star filled sky, charming monkeys, and a beautiful private beach all to ourselves. The snorkeling on Turtle Beach is one of the best. We liked it so much, we are considering renting the Pereira's larger villa up the hill for our mother's 60th next year. The ocean front cottage is gorgeously decorated, the perfect Caribbean getaway. The owners were very gracious and helpful through the entire process, they made us feel at home and very special. The bedroom was VERY comfortable as well. We will be back MANY MANY times! Thank you Penny! ;-) (if you have a larger group, we'd highly recommend the owner's other property. It is a villa just up the hill, with breathtaking views. We met the folks staying there, and they invited us to dinner. The Portuguese grandmother made the most delicious homemade Portuguese meal. The villa was stunning. Very spacious, beautifully appointed, and views grander than any I have seen...from every room! We'd highly recommend both properties!)

Ricky was born and raised on St Kitts and Penny moved from Winnipeg, Canada in 1986. We built our first house at Turtle Beach in 1994 and will always have our 'home' here. Our daughters grew up on Turtle Beach and are now attend University in Canada. Penny and Ricky commute between St Kitts and Winnipeg. We are fortunate to enjoy the most peaceful location on St Kitts.

Peaceful location with South facing exposure and refreshing breezes, very quiet beach, great beach combing along the tidal pools and shoreline, fantastic views and amazing snorkelling right out front of the beach cottage.
What else can you ask for in a beach cottage.
We love it.
Turtle Beach is located on the South East Peninsula of
St Kitts which we think is the best part of the island. You will NEVER hear the ongoing NOISE of cars/trucks/motorcycles or experience traffic like the Frigate Bay area. It's all about the sounds of the surf, bird song and nature! 5 minutes drive will take you to some of the islands BEST restaurants and more fabulous beaches. A QUICK water taxi to our neighbouring island of NEVIS will bring you to more great restaurants, history and charm of the Caribbean!
