Visiting family in Folsom

This guesthouse was just great for us to be close to family who live nearby. It was clean and comfortable in a lovely neighborhood. The kitchenette was set up so we could do some cooking. Nicole is a very nice host!

Kind, clean, quaint

We had a lovely stay! The accommodations were exactly as listed and met all of our needs. We were a little unclear on check-out responsibilities, but Nicole responded as able and we were not expected to do anything. I would definitely stay again.

Immaculate and beautiful

New, clean, has everything you need for cooking. Washer and dryer, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in shower were a lovely touch and very nice quality. Quiet, across the street is a walking/bike path which our dog loved. Bed was very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again! Location was close to everything we wanted to see and do.

The rental unit was the 2 car garage and is attached to the house. Nicole sent the instructions and address a few days before our trip. Upon arriving we could not get in because the code had not been entered into the door lock. It was a hot August day and we were arriving from a long drive. Nicole did not reply to the message I left on VRBO. I looked up her name online and found a phone number. She is a realtor in another city as far as I could tell. Fortunately she answered and was able to set the code and we were able to get in.The unit is well built, very clean and everything works. The air con and ceiling fans make it a very comfortable space. The neighborhood is quiet and very nice.We were planning to use the hide abed for third family member but there is so much furniture there is not enough space to pull the bed out and walk around. If they removed the large coffee table, hung the TV on the wall and removed the large TV cabinet there would be space to use the hide abed. Right now you would have to move furniture outside to make it work. The furniture would block the space that you need to walk from the bedroom to the bathroom. The first night was very quiet. The second night someone was staying in the house and they started the washing machine at 1:30am. It woke us up because the water pipe is right on the other side of the wall from the bed. Water ran from 1:30 -4am. We could also hear what we think was the washing machine but not sure.
