Diese komplett renovierte Ferienwohnung mit direktem Zugang zu den Skipisten befindet sich auf der Vorderseite des Sunstone-Gebäudes in der Eagle Lodge. Die Aussicht von der Wohnung Balkon sind absolut erstaunlich, vor allem im Winter nach einem Schneesturm. Die Wohnung ist komplett ausgestattet mit einer modernisierten Küche, Edelstahlgeräten wie Kühlschrank, Herd / Ofen und Spülmaschine, einem Essbereich mit Platz für 4 Personen, einem großen Flachbild-TV, einem gemütlichen Gaskamin und einem Schlafsofa, in dem zusätzliche Übernachtungsgäste untergebracht werden können.

Die Wohnung wurde auch mit hochwertigen Fußböden und schönen modernen Arbeitsplatten aufgewertet. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über zwei Einzelbetten, einen Flachbildfernseher und ein eigenes Bad, während das zweite Schlafzimmer ein Kingsize-Bett und einen Flachbildfernseher bietet.

Sunstone Lodge at Juniper Springs Resort verfügt über beheizte Tiefgarage, kostenlosem High-Speed-Internetzugang, ein ganzjährig beheizten Außenpool und Jacuzzi sowie ein Fitnessraum. Gästeschränke befinden sich im ersten Stock, um Ihre Ausrüstung zu verstauen - gehen Sie raus und fahren Sie zum Eagle Express am Mammoth Mountain! Also no air conditioning which made it a bit uncomfortable during a heatwave. Bring your own soap and shampoo. Otherwise generally nice and clean with a great view.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was uncomfortably hot. We left the windows open all day and it was still so stuffy at night. We did not get good sleep here at all. The whole building was quite warm. Also, the parking garage directions were top vague. It didn't mentioned we had to use our room card to get in. More details on how to get into the garage would have saved us time.It was extremely clean overall and the location was great.

Most of the properties here in Mammoth do not have AC and this is because it is not really needed, the weather here in town is mostly flesh and cold. Fireplace broken and we were cold!

Shame because it was a perfect fireplace type of vacation with a blizzard outside. We were cold and the fireplace was broken. We reported it and they never fixed it. For the price we paid, I expect things to work. They offered a discount but not much and I cant give a good review. We have stayed in several other units and this is the first time we had an issue with the heat / fireplace not working. Hope they fix it!

Over promised and under delivered

Our family was so excited to stay in this ski in ski out location over winter break, but sadly this property was a let down for our family. We arrived late at night after a long drive and picked up our cards from the management company off premise, to find out that the code to enter our room... was not included in the information or in the prior email sent . My family with two children were stuck outside the room at 1:30 am with no place to rest or anywhere to go. After calling customer service and waiting for a return call from their emergency service for about 20 minutes we finally got the code to enter our room. Sadly, this is not where the disappointments of our stay end. As we entered the room we discovered that the advertised two twin beds, as seen in the pictures, was actually a single king bed. Another disappointment of this property is that the wifi connection is extremely poor. It is understandable to have spotty connection in the mountains, but the resort had the internet going out every 5-15 minutes resulting in rough times using our devises and communicating via text, call, or social media. Also, the televisions were unable to be used due to the internet and wifi problem this hotel had. When turning on 2 of the three hotel room TVs, it simply said “unable to connect with internet” and the third had only two channels that worked under these harsh conditions. The shower door in the master bedroom also was not able to close all the way, soaking all the entire floor and making the shower a cold and miserable experience, as opposed to the relaxing warm feeling showers should be. If you are looking to have a relaxing, non stressful, joyous time in mammoth, this condo is not for you!!!

Hi Ruth, Thanks for your review and we are sorry you encountered an issue to access the property, the access code is in the check-in documents. The king bed does split into two twin beds as described in the description, and this could have been set up this way prior to your visit had we known ahead of time. The wifi at Sunstone is building wide wireless, so yes when the building is at full capacity the network does operate slower than usual which does cause connectivity issues. For this reason we never guarantee the internet unfortunately. We are very sorry that you had a stressful time, and we will address the shower issue mentioned for follow up, and hope you enjoyed everything else that this great condo has to offer!

Later, we found a small fan inside one of the closets. The property does get hot in the summer. Without strategically placed fans, it does not cool down even with all windows open.I loved how clean the unit was. Traveling during Covid, I was super paranoid about cleaning, and it totally met my expectations. I wish I could give 6 stars for cleaning.The kitchen is minimally equipped. There is enough for light cooking or reheating. There isn't much storage space if you plan to have an extended stay.The windows all face east, so it works well if you are an early riser, as we were.The wifi is from the Sunset Lodge property, and is quite mediocre. It might be worthwhile for the owner to consider faster wifi of their own.The bathtub is very nice and deep, and it would be good if the property can provide some soaking salts with no fragrance, which would be awesome after a long day of hiking.Overall, we loved our stay here, and would definitely recommend to other as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was setup very nicely for our family of four. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and nicely setup. The kitchen had nice appliances and all the cooking tools you need. The couch and chairs were comfortable, and there was plenty of room. There is a beautiful view of a sunrise over the mountains. The TV was nice, although the guest WiFi is pretty slow, so there were challenges connecting the TV to our Amazon or Netflix accounts. I ended up using an iPad to stream content to the TV. They also have cable, so that was our choice. You simply cannot beat the location if you're skiing/snowboarding. The heated underground parking makes life easy, and the ski lockers are great. In the morning, you grab your skis from the locker, walk out the back door, and ski down to the lift. It's really that easy. In the afternoon, you ski to the back door, drop your skis in the locker, and then head to the pool and hot tub. This is our second time in this building, and we will stay here again.

I would stay here again

This unit is remodeled nicely. It looks good and was very clean. It has a somewhat of a nice view as well. The beds were plenty comfortable (only 1 pillow per head tho if you are multiple pillow person). Being on first floor was very convenience for ski in/out access. Only negative was lack of comfortable seating in living room... it could use a love seat in addition to the couch instead of just the little chair (that's why I gave 4 out of 5 stars). I would stay here again.

Great Lodging

My family of 4 stayed here during a week of skiing. This condo couldn't be better! The location is perfect for skiers. The space is light and bright with beautiful mountain views. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable. There is beautiful wood flooring throughout. All the appliances and furnishings are new. Easily accessible pool and jacuzzi. Covered parking. We would gladly stay here again.

Great Room

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Elevators and luggage carts great for loading/unloading! Easy to receive keys at office. TV tilts out for better viewing. Room can get hot because no A/C and on third floor.

very unhappy with check in process

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our property is te only one in the building open door with phsical key but when we grabbed our check in envelope, there is no key int there. After we figured out that andyour employee sent us the key. It's 1 o'clock at midnight. We waiting for an hour for that. I stayed with mammoth sierra several times. Really disappointed. Why don't you guys upgrade the door lock with code lock or card key entry.

Everything You Need and More!

Reviewer Comments: Sunstone condos are small but efficient units with nice bonus touches, like convenient ski lockers, a heated pool and hot tub, and they include towels and robes for your comfort. The kitchens typically have everything you need to cook most meals. When chair 15 is running and there's snow on the ground, it's a great place to end your day.

It had all the amenities that we needed... the only downside is the air flow is poor... thankfully they had fans for us, but air conditioning or ceiling fans in the unit would be ideal.
