Our vacation condominium is located on the lush Kiahuna Plantation Resort Great Lawn, a short walk a from Kauai’s sunny Poipu Beach sands. This is a second floor corner unit located in Building 24. It’s a quiet, private, well-appointed family vacation rental with spacious living room, dining area, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and covered lanai. Our Ocean View location is perfectly situated for morning vistas, day activities and dramatic evening sunsets on Kiahuna Beach. There are many activities on Kiahuna Plantation Resort and there are many natural attractions on the island of Kauai. It’s the perfect choice for guests looking a laid back Kauai residential vacation experience in a beautiful setting.
About Kiahuna 163
The property was fully renovated recently reflecting the next generation of Kiahuna's vacation rental designs. The condominium has an open, bright and contemporary feeling while retaining the unique experience of a Kauai tropical home. All new furniture, all new flooring and tile, all new appliances, all new bathroom with walk in shower, all new mahogany doors & trim, all new cabinetry in kitchen and bathroom, and new dual AC units. The property is fully equipped with extensive tableware, appliances, microwave, convection / conventional oven and spacious refrigerator. Chefs will enjoy the spacious food preparation area of the remodeled kitchen space. Outdoor grilling is available at any of the 14 outdoor gas barbecues on the resort.
Kiahuna 163 is a corner unit designed to maximize the natural Kauai trade breeze with lanai sliding doors, abundant louvered windows and variable speed ceiling fans. For warmer days, tap on the dual AC located in the main room and the bedroom.

We acquired Kiahuna Unit 163 (Building 24) in December 2024 after visiting Kiahuna over 30 years with family and friends. We live outside of San Francisco in Marin county. Our favorite thing about Kiahuna is the relaxed, residential Poipu Beach vibe.

This is real nature just outside your door. Relax on the Great Lawn to soak up some rays and read a book. Wander in the ocean to feel the surf and maybe swim laps. Walk along the coast up to the Hyatt and shipwreck beach or down to spouting horn. Many families have grown up here - its a home away from home. Over the years, nothing much has changed about the facility. We love that.

Over the years we've probably rented nearly a hundred times. We've seen all the units. We fell in love with Kiahuna 163 because it is located in the prime activity area of Kiahuna Plantation and it was fully reconstructed with an eye to quality and comfort. Everything in the unit is top notch. We think Kiahuna unit 163 in Building 24 sets a standard for the next wave of Kiahuna guests.
