The perfect home in a lovely town
The apartment is located in the middle of town, just a few minutes away from shops and restaurants. However, the apartment stays quiet and insulated from the noise of the town. All around the apartment are beautiful 16th century barns and lovely cobblestone streets. It's less than 10 minutes to the train station and a lovely 15 minute walk to the gondolas up to the Matterhorn. The home has been redone in a beautiful and tasteful way. Our family of four had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the views of the Matterhorn.
Marcus was quick to respond to any questions we had, and his associate was very helpful and kind. We would love to return to Zermatt someday and can't imagine staying anywhere else!

The Matterhorn from your living room window
What could be better than gazing out your living room window at the Matterhorn?! Excellent location and view. The accommodations were top notch...spacious, lovely bathrooms, comfortable beds and nice linens. Since we like to prepare our own food we appreciated the well equipped and modern kitchen. The grocery store was a few blocks away with lots of choices. There was a slight mixup checking in which the owner cleared up immediately.
Perfect place for a small family
The view of the Matterhorn from the second floor balcony can’t be beat (especially when paired with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening). It’s a perfect size for a family of 4, offering everyone plenty of privacy. The kitchen was big and well appointed; great for entertaining. We would definitely book here again.

Truly unique and amazing home!
We loved staying at the Old House. The check-in was easy and flexible with our timing as we were arriving by car. We parked in Tasch and took the quick train up and were met at the train station with a taxi directly to the home. Very convenient!
The house is more beautiful than the pictures online. It was very clean and offered everything you would want in a rental and more. We were comfortable with 4 adults. You could probably fit another on the couch in the living room as wel.
We loved that you could walk right out your door and had restaurants, shops, a grocery store, bus stops..everything within steps. This is a great location! I can't recommend this house enough.
Beautifully restored home. Excellent host. Had everything we needed. Location very central in Zermatt. Heated floors in bathrooms was a great touch.

Old House Zermatt is wonderful! The historic and convenient location is such a treat. The apartment is beautiful; clean, charming and fully equipped. It is everything it promised to be and more. Marcus has thought through every detail, from transportation to and from the train station to restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed every minute of our vacation. Thank you Marcus!
