Ich habe 2 komplett ausgestattete Hütten mit Küche, Ess- und Familienbereich. Jedes verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer und 1 Bad oder können für ein 4 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bad-Einheit für größere Gruppen zusammengefasst werden. Side "B" hat 1 König, 1 Königin und ein ausziehbares Sofa-Bett. Side "A" hat zwei Königinnen und ein ausziehbares Sofa-Bett. Für die kühlen Herbstabenden haben wir eine charmante Gas log Kamin.
Es gibt einen Ausstand Deck eine private Bucht am Lake Lanier in der Nähe von Aqua Land Marina mit Blick auf. Side "B" hat die Marke neue, schöne Whirlpool auf der privaten Terrasse auf den schönen bewaldeten Blick nach unten auf den See. Beide Hütten sind Holzkohlegrills für das Kochen im Freien, High-Speed-Internet und Kabel-TV. This was a lovely place to stay in the woods overlooking the lake. It was a short walk down to the dock and the cool, refreshing lake. The cabin is close to two restaurants on the lake that I love!
The hot tub on the deck was fabulous and the cabin was clean and comfortable! I've stayed here several times and have always found it to be in great condition. I was surprised to see other reviews saying it wasn't clean!
This is our second time staying at the lake cabin. The price was right for a weekend stay in the off-season quiet Fall months. Although the lakeview and hot tub are great... I was a bit disappointed.
We hoped the previously unfinished 1 bathroom, would be done by summer. However, it was still left undone. With no fan in the bathroom, I think it makes for a general musty smell upon entering the cabin.
We planned on utilizing the pull-out couch for a child. However, no linens were available for the pull-out. There are no additional linens or blankets available to guests.
I am happy to report the owner was easily contacted. He stated this was just an oversight by cleaning staff that no linens were available for pull-out couch. A few extra sheets and blankets are nice though to have on hand for guests.
Cleaning needs to be improved. As we looked for additional linens, we peaked under beds to find a considerable amount of garbage. Soda bottles and wrappers. The pull out couch also needs to be at least vacuumed throughly. Couch cushions appear dingy. Just need a good pro cleaning.
Previous stay the accommodations were much cleaner. This stay there were cobwebs and spiders on ceiling and most corners of the house. I was quick to use a broom to remove them.
Upon check-out, we removed linens as directed and you find neither bed has mattress pads to help keep mattress clean. In guest bedroom you find an old egg carton topper. In the master a few stains are on the mattress.
Time for new linens. The sheets are obviously very worn. This stay we used the guest bedroom. The more decorative comforter had a small rip on one side. Nothing major, but sheets are a relatively inexpensive update that definitely are needed to get regular repeat renters or longer stays booked. Fine for a weekend, but after a week I was looking forward to my own bed.
Most rental cabins have a few essentials already stocked. This cabin has the VERY bare basics. (Ex: a single roll of toilet paper, a set of dishes, a set of silverware, and a basic BBQ set). We quickly had to do a run for dish soap, paper towels, extra toilet paper, etc.
We are more likely to book at a property two lots over that has more attention to detail even though it costs a bit more. My suggestion is make a few nicer upgrades, newer linens, samples of toiletries, throughly cleaned, and updated rental guest book clearly outlining most FAQ such as trash day pick-up and quiet hours
I have never written a bad review before, but this time I feel the need. This side of the duplex with the hot tub is dirty, just plain dirty. It has cobwebs (we killed a spider in the bedroom), the a/c vents are filthy and so are the ceiling fans, so I’m betting the a/c filter needs to be changed. There are missing blinds in the living room and what ones are there are missing slats and broken. The blinds in both bedrooms broke and fell to the floor when we tried to raise them because they were cut too short when installed. I washed the tub of cobwebs and spiders. I had to wash the dishes and silverware before we could use them. One bowl I gave up on. I scraped stuck on food off the table and we scraped off stuck on food off the knives. There was no way I’m using the oven. It’s gross. We pulled out the bed to plug in the bedroom lamps……….ewww, all kinds of things back there. We had to install 5 lightbulbs in several light fixtures, including the front porch so we didn’t have to walk up to the front door in the dark. Some fixtures still have non-working bulbs. The sofa is disgusting. If it wasn’t brown, no telling what it would look like. The outside grill is disgusting as well. We bought new aluminum pans so we could grill our food on something clean. The bathroom ceiling needs to be painted and the vent covers re-installed after ceiling was replaced. And the kitchen sink leaks down into the cabinet underneath. We moved all of the mops, brooms, etc from between the refrigerator and cabinetry because it was really disgusting back there. Clearly they hadn't been used lately. We had to sweep the kitchen floor before we could even walk across it.
We felt the need to stay because owner had already received our money. He wanted payment on the reservation phone call.
This owner should really consider changing to a new property management company and/or a new maid service. Either or both are horrible at their jobs. It only takes a few extra minutes to make sure a property is clean & ready for the next guest.
We spent Thanksgiving weekend here and it was exactly as described. The backyard was great for the kids to play and explore. Hot tub was clean and functional. Fire pit to make smores. What more could we ask for? Interior of cabin could use some cleaning but it was not terrible. Overall we enjoyed our experience.
Overall not terrible. Clean but not updated. No HOT TUB as advertised and NO king size bed. No curtains or shades. Needs a new clean sofa. Ok for a weekend for the rates and the owner was nice.
