Das Tripp Lake Retreat befindet sich im Wald mit Blick auf den Tripp Lake in Chestertown, NY. Dieses friedliche Refugium ist nur wenige Minuten vom Adirondack Northway (Rt. 87) entfernt und befindet sich dennoch in abgeschiedener Lage.
Unser komplett eingerichtetes Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern verfügt über 2 Badezimmer und bietet Platz für 9 Personen. Schlafzimmer Nr. 1 hat ein Kingsize-Bett. Schlafzimmer Nr. 2 hat eine Königin und ein Zweibettzimmer. Schlafzimmer Nr. 3 hat ein Queen-Bett und das Familienzimmer hat ein Queen-Schlafsofa. Beide Badezimmer verfügen über Dusch- / Wannenkombinationen. Die Küche mit Frühstücksbar ist komplett ausgestattet mit 2 Kaffeemaschinen, Toaster, Mikrowelle, Mixer usw. Der Esstisch im Familienzimmer bietet Platz für bis zu 14 Personen. Unser geräumiges Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen Gaskamin und ausreichend Sitzgelegenheiten. Dieser Wohnbereich, einschließlich des Familienzimmers, ist von Fenstern umgeben, die einen wunderschönen Blick auf den See und die ganze Natur bieten! Betreten Sie den Tripp Lake Retreat durch den Mud Room, ein großartiger Ort, um Mäntel, Stiefel, Schneeschuhe und nasse Strandtücher zu lassen. Auf der gleichen Ebene befindet sich eine neue Waschküche mit Waschmaschine und Trockner. Während Sie das ganze Jahr über Adirondack-Abenteuer erleben, steht Ihnen der Komfort Ihres Zuhauses zur Verfügung. Wir haben einen automatischen Generator, so dass Sie sich keine Sorgen mehr machen müssen, wenn Sie Strom verlieren!
Schwimmen, Angeln, Kajakfahren, Kanufahren, Schlittschuhlaufen, Schneeschuhwandern und Langlaufen auf dem See oder einfach auf dem Deck sitzen und die Aussicht genießen. Motorschlittenfahrer können kilometerlange Trails von der Haustür aus genießen. Skifahrer, Gore ist ca. 30 Minuten entfernt in North Creek! Wenn Sie auch gerne wandern, Rad fahren, einkaufen, Pferde oder Achterbahnen fahren, Lagerfeuer am See machen oder am gemütlichen Feuer sitzen, ist Tripp Lake Retreat ein idealer Urlaubsort für Sie, Ihre Freunde und Familie .

Our 11th year for our family business ADK retreat. We live in a gorge in the Finger Lakes so expect allot from our ADK destination. This home checked all the boxes with every provision close at hand, an immaculate atmosphere and a bit of family history in word and pictures which gave the property a warm feeling. The owner sent the check in information well in advance and was prompt and pleasant in communication. Great meals, canoeing, morning coffee on the deck - a good time was had by all!

This was a least the third time staying at Tripp Lake. We love the location and the house. Communication with Debby is easy and comfortable. The house has always felt like a home away from home. It’s clean, near towns that truly give you an Adirondack feel, and offer so many choices of things to do every day. We are always happy upon arrival, sad to leave, and look forward to next summer to come back.

Celebrating with friends.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at Tripp Lake Retreat. The house feels like a home away from home, nestled in the trees with a view of the lake. Fall is a lovely time to be here and relax with friends. Short walks on crisp mornings, drives to local craft stores and relaxing by the fire made the trip just what we wanted for our time together. Debbie is a gracious host and responsive to needs. I will definitely consider staying again as Tripp Lake Retreat becomes a favorite spot.

Family vacation

It was the perfect place to gather with my family, my three children and their spouses and three grandchildren, 4 yo, 2 1/2 yo, and an almost two year old. We enjoyed the beach, kayaking and paddle-boarding. The house was spacious with enough spaces that we could gather together for meals or games or have some private space as needed. A pleasure to cook in the well-stocked kitchen. Beautiful location.

Perfect for families

This property hit all the marks for us. My son played the piano all weekend, we took short trips to great hikes and famous natural locations, morning canoe 🛶 paddles and evening fires. Also, I have to mention the incredible deck space! There was plenty of space for two small families to share. We can’t say enough about this property. Only that we hope to be back next year!

Will come every year if I can

This place is beautiful guys. I seen the pictures but in person it’s so great. Clean spacious and makes you feel like your in a hidden hideaway although you have neighbors. Plenty of space for family or friends and while the service is not great in the area which is anticipated Debby and Jim made sure the kitchen is stocked so you just need food , there’s entertainment that does not require internet connection, btw two of the games sorry and sequence is a must to play and we even orders those games once we got home, the rooms are cozy the master bedroom is perfection. This really is a place I would call home away from home. My children loved it , my husband his sister and my aunt totally loved it . We were able to go out on the lake with the canoe which was very tranquil. We got to do a bbq on the side of the house and it’s so peaceful at night. Can’t wait to visit again. Thanks for staying in communication with us and responding so quickly when we needed it. Also it’s a plus that you guys had a book of stuff to do in the area I definitely recommend the bridges and caves attraction. Thanks again guys!

Great scenary, was easy to relax to. REALLY missed no A/C for the first night (when out in heat all day, there was no comfort to be had that first night). Kind of small tv in main room. No screen on porch sliding door.Loved the spacious area for 6 people.

Cozy Family Home by Beautiful Lake

Really enjoyed our stay! Host Debbie was very responsive, nice and accommodating. The house was just the right size for our family getaway with 8 people, including 2 small children. The house is just steps away from gorgeous Lake Tripp. Short drive to touristy Lake George nearby. Great spot for a family seeking an Adirondack vacation.

Weekend getaway with friends

The house was perfect for our weekend getaway. The owners have taken very good care of this property. Our families had a blast using the canoes and swimming in the lake. My 8 year old son even learned how to paddleboard with a neighbor kid. We'll definitely look to renting this house again if we are in the area for another vacation.

Lovely spot on a lake, but bring your sheets!

The house is in a lovely location - quiet and a 2 minute walk to a lake with a great sandy beach. The house has lots of space, so if you're part of a large group, there's plenty of room to spread out. The lack of sheets and towels (don't forget to bring your own!) and the cleaning fee are the only reasons I can't give 5 stars. This is the first short term rental I've used that asked guests to strip the bed, load/run the dishwasher, and stick around to empty the dishwasher. The danger of having guests empty the dishwasher is that no one checks to see if they're clean. Some of the silverware in the drawer wasn't clean. Dirty forks aside, the lake was perfect on a hot summer day.

A beautiful, relaxing, and welcoming place to spend the Fourth!

The property was spacious, well-appointed and perfectly located right across the street from Tripp Lake. Debby, our host, responded to our queries quickly and completely, and was so thoughtful to include a story about the property in her guidebook that really endeared us to it, as well as a book to sign with personal messages when we left. Check-out directions were clear and reasonable and so were expectations regarding house rules and housekeeping. All in all, this was a wonderful property to stay at and we would be happy to return.

Met our expectations and then some!!

Perfection for our three generation getaway. Space was awesome as was location, well equipped with everything one would need. A teenager who needed his space; Mom had her knitting corner and Grammy a perfect reading nook. The private beach area suited the youngest among us and also for his Grammy. There’s nothing quite like being in the Adirondacks. Tripp Lake retreat was definitely a treat.

Wonderful place to stay!

This was our fifth time staying here and it was great as always. The weather wasn’t as great as other years but we still were able to enjoy the lake…the advantage of the location of the house is that you can quickly pack up and get back to the house if rain or a storm rolls in. The water was wonderful for swimming and kayaking (we bring our own kayaks). The house is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!
