Mein Urgroßvater hat dieses Haus 1935 gebaut. Dieses traditionelle Cottage im Stil der 1930er Jahre verfügt über eine Domdecke im Wohnzimmer. Die Veranda bietet einen ausgezeichneten Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen. Es ist ca. 5 Minuten / 1 Block zu Fuß zum Strand und zur Promenade.

In der Hochsaison (Juni-August) versuchen wir ganze Wochen (Freitag bis Freitag) zu mieten.

Terrific

This stay was so sweet. The house is quaint, well stocked and built with love and character. The owners are incredibly responsive and kind. It was a wonderful stay for our family! We made great use of the location by easily walking to the beach and renting bikes to take long rides around the area.

Nice stay in great location

We spent a lovely week at this perfectly located house with our family, including our 2 small dogs. We had everything we needed (they even provide linens!) and could walk to everything. The stairs were a little dicey for small kids (and tall adults), but it’s an older house,so the funky layout is part of the charm. The host was very responsive and reached out ahead of time with helpful information.

Wonderful getaway

Spent a wonderful July week in Rehoboth with family, relaxing after college graduation and prepping for the transition to “real life.” The Messner house is absolutely charming and the host friendly and helpful. Stockley Street is convenient and quiet. We hope to go back!

A delightful stay

This is a wonderful, charming beach house. The location is ideal and the house is very comfortable with a nice open living area, updated kitchen, and good size bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The screen porch is great and the outdoor shower divine!! The owners were wonderful to deal with

I can't imagine a better beach house than this one! It has all the options - quick walk to the fantastic beach and boardwalk, or you can stay in and read in comfort. All the little touches are there in the house and it has such a good vibe. Wonderful place and experience.

Great House in PERFECT Location!!

We absolutely adored this house!! The house is so charming and has really nice updates to the bathrooms and kitchen. The outdoor shower was a highlight! The front screened in porch is great for morning coffee and people watching without the bother of mosquitos. The walk to the beach and downtown was less than 5 mins and easily walkable for both the kids and elderly. The house was well stocked with the basics and linens/bath towels. The property manager was friendly, attentive and quick to reply.

Comfy house in a great location

This is a great beach house! The owners had all the basic necessities like dishwasher tabs, sugar and toilet paper, so grocery shopping at the beginning of the week wasn’t as bad. Check-in and Check-out was a breeze. The house has a great screened in porch and the tall trees and landscaping kept it noticeably cooler. The location is great- just a bit more than a block to the beach and several blocks south of Rehoboth Ave allows for an easy walk to shops and restaurants but a less-crowded beach at the Stockley Street beach access. We had a great time and will keep this one on the list.

Beach cottage - 1 1/2 blocks from beach

We booked a last minute Labor Day vacation and were thrilled to stay in this beautiful beach cottage only 1 1/2 blocks from the beach and boardwalk. We loved how comfortable the home and how equipped kitchen was. Like many rentals you have to bring your linens which is not convenient. There isn’t much of a yard but enjoyed the outside shower and screened in front porch. It is an old home and is noisy but who cares when you can be so close to the beach.

Charming, clean, and excellent location!

This property was everything we could have hoped for! The location is just a short walk to the beach in a lovely part of town. The house was very clean. Nicely stocked kitchen which provided everything we needed for making dinner each night! Bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. Common areas were perfect for dinning and hanging out as a group (there were 6 of us). The screened in porch was relaxing for morning coffee and evening drinks. The best part of our experience was the owner Barry; he is so nice and went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our stay! We will definitely be repeat renters!

Great return to Rehoboth

We booked this property to relive some childhood memories of coming to Rehoboth, and were thrilled that it exceeded our expectations. The house is kept immaculately, is comfortable, absorbed our 3 kids very well, and gave us the quintessential, nostalgic Rehoboth experience we were chasing. The property is a close block-plus walk to the beach, and nearly as close to Rehoboth Ave. The screened-in porch was a favorite spot in the early mornings and late afternoons/evenings. The history to the house gave it a real charm. The beds were comfortable, the space felt roomy, and our occasional run-ins with owner Barry (we sought him out) were lovely. We will be back.

It was AWESOME!

Our group consisted of 3 adults and 3 children (14 and under). The bedroom arrangement worked out perfectly. I was initially concerned about only having one full bath in the house (there is a half bath on the second floor), but the single shower was not a problem for our group. The kids preferred using the outdoor shower. The four bedrooms were well appointed and nicely decorated. We all loved the books everywhere! The kitchen was wonderful, and we cooked more than I thought we would. It was an easy walk to the beach and boardwalk, and we loved that the owner arranged for us to have an umbrella and two chairs for the beach. Many nights were spent relaxing on the screened in porch, and the available washer and dryer were used every other day of our stay. Our family and friends can’t wait to go back next year!

The cathederal ceiling and new remodeled kitchen and bathrooms are just a few features that make this home very unique and very comfortable. We look forward to your visit!
