The Space:
This wonderful remodel on the ground floor apartment walks right out to the beach and pool area and has a peek-a-boo view of the water. Bahia mar is very resort like with 2 pools, a very unique elevated sundeck off the ocean, and the ample bedding makes it perfect for families while still affording good privacy.
Our condo was renovated completely in the spring of 2025 with new kitchen & furniture.
The Bahia Mar has resort-style amenities including, two inviting hot tubs, two tennis courts, a private beach access, a playground for kids, and beachfront seating to relax while listening to the waves and feeling the cool ocean breeze. Walk to so many cool beachfront locales like Clayton’s Beach Bar, Barry’s Beach Bar, Bar Louies, and Wanna Wanna Beach Bar with its great location on the northern side of the island. There is also the new Oysters Cove fine dining that is walkable as well as Sea Turtle Inc for the kiddos and adults alike!
A brand new kitchen provides all the essential cookware and appliances for making delicious & convenient home-cooked meals while on vacation.
The living room features a flat-screen smart TV for your apps along with an adjacent private patio overlooking the Gulf and grounds.
Patio is ideal for morning coffee or evening margaritas. While this property does not feature a BBQ grill due to HOA rules, you can bring a charcoal grill and do it on the beach as allowed. Grills are not allowed on property unfortunately.
Our master bedroom features a king size bed and another smart TV
The master also has access to a private patio and offers views of the beautiful Bahia Mar grounds. It's the perfect small getaway for parents.
The master bedroom features an en suite bathroom private with a combo bathtub/shower.
We do allow up to 8 total guests but 6 is more comfortable with the provided bedding as in the guest room there are two queen size beds and a flat-screen TV. A shared guest bathroom with the combo bathtub/shower.
We do also provide the couch in "bed count" as well as our queen sized blow up airbed for additional sleeping space - please bring additional bedding if you plan on using the couch or airbed as we don't provide that, though all other towels & linens for the other beds are provided :)
The space has our own washer and dryer for quick clean up before you head home, as well as high speed internet if you have some work.
Please inquire about off season discounts Sept 15 to Dec 15 for stay over 4 nights. We do have active military / vet discounts as well as tackle football coach discounts - just ask before you book please not after :)
We like to keep things very upfront to over deliver & under promise. This property is not a brand new build, Bahia Mar is an older complex with refreshed pools, though not infinity. Pets and BBQ grills are not allowed. This apartment does not have a spectacular view of the beach as it is a ground floor, please note.
We do provide coffee, creamer, and sweetener + decaf + tea - as well as a starter pack of hand soaps, dish soap, trash bags, 1 roll of paper towels new and starters of toilet paper, non stick cooking spray as well as Salt & Pepper - though not unlimited and not replenished. All fresh towels and linens are also provided.
We operate as South Padre Isle Trips the best property management company on the Island at 2600 Padre blvd and do answer phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
We have tried to install every possible thing a family could want to the best of our ability to make this a great place to enjoy this house close to the beach.
Don't forget - beach gear (I don't provide as so messy)
Or rent 2 chairs and umbrella on the beach for $45 cash per day - bring cash and no need to reserve in advance the vendor is right in front of many properties up and down the beach
While we have the best available Internet/WIFI from spectrum they are the only provider on the island and up time and coverage can be spotty at times we want you to be aware of that- it is not a reason for a cancel, refund, nor reimbursement. Please arrive prepared with an enabled hotpot on your cellular device if you have critical work to complete.
Please take note we do require an E sign rental agreement with an attached photo ID after booking is made, We require to maintain our City of South Padre Rental License a signed rental agreement you may ensign prior to arrival to be checked in with door code therefore you must provide your email address.
You must attach a pic of your photo ID OR upload to your booking platform messaging to age verify as 25 years of age or older If you are NOT 25 years of age you MUST contact us prior to check to inquire if we CAN allow you to stay by accepting an additional refundable damage deposit. This is NOT guaranteed FYI
We do not provide e Door codes earlier than check in time as we cannot have guests attempting to park nor slowing down maid service of course is If you need a somewhat earlier check in, contact our office on day of check in around 11 am and we can check for you.
2 parking permits are provided and extras are not available, please note
Additional free parking is available along Gulf Blvd a City street though not guaranteed.
A golf cart is considered a vehicle FYI
Unauthorized / non registered guests are NOT allowed. A baby and/or infant is considered a person in the State of Texas and included in total allowed maximum guests. Get togethers NOT allowed nor unregistered guests in pool area.
Loud noises are NEVER permitted including music. Complex quiet time is 9 pm to 9 am. Pool is open 9 am to 9:00 pm including outdoor hot tubs (if applicable) BBQing on property is not allowed unless otherwise)

If you can't find the network name SouthPadreTrips it's usually means we had a power outage and when the power comes back on It typically defaults the router to the factory network name and password, which is located on a sticker on top of the router.
Generally, if you reboot the router by unplugging it for a few minutes and plugging it back in it will pop up
You must have completed the docusign rental agreement and attached a photo of your picture ID, read the house rules, and paid either the $59 fee for the damage cover plan OR paid the $500 refundable damage deposit all are handled thru the airbnb resolution center.
We will not provide door code for entry without these being done nor will we offer a refund for this. Please contact us prior to booking if questions
We provide all bed sheets, blankets, bath towels, face towels, hand towels, basic soaps & shampoos and a starter pack of dishwasher pods, trash bags, coffee, filters, creamer, and sweetener. These supplies are a starter pack and not unlimited nor re supplied.
