Tranquil Getaway!

We had such a wonderful visit. The Cabin itself is well appointed. Great place in the woods

We spent a few days doing things around Berkley Springs and this was a great place to stay. It's a beautiful house and was really nice to be outside at night in the hot tub but be protected from bugs with the screened in porch. We would definitely go back and stay again.

Great mountain getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this past weekend. The house had plenty of necessities like paper towels, trash bags, plates, silverware which was appreciated. Beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with fun games and puzzles. The location was perfect and we really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. We look forward to staying again in the future!

Perfect getaway

Had a wonderful girls’ weekend at this beautiful property! It was close enough to town to make running out for meals and activities convenient while also providing a quiet countryside place to stay. Ending each day in the hot tub was a great bonus!

Great Stay

Stayed for New Years Eve weekend with friends. Very nice place in the mountains. Lovely and quiet location. Clean house. Hot tub, outside fire ring. Would stay here again.

Beautiful cabin

I have stayed at many cabins in West Virginia and this might be the best one we’ve ever stayed in. The outdoor space was great. The indoor space was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the game room in the basement as well! I’m looking forward to going back!

Quiet, peaceful getaway

Very nice house in a quiet, wooded setting. Had everything we needed. You could tell the owners and the management company put a lot of care into the place. Very serene setting yet only a few minutes from town. Also enjoyed hiking in nearby Cacapon State Park. Highly recommended for a weekend escape.

Remote, quiet, relaxing for the spirit and mind!

My kids and I rent a VRBO every fall for an annual reunion of sorts. We always like to try a different place each year and this rental did not disappoint. It was so secluded, just what we all needed to completely relax. The proximity to Berkeley Springs was convenient as well. I would recommend this rental to anyone seeking a quiet place to vacation.

Great hideaway!

This is a fabulous house for a couple or a family, but the master bedroom is a loft so it's not very private if you were there with other people. There is a hot tub and a bar and game room downstairs which is fun to partake in. Will definately be coming back next year!

Absolutely perfect!

We didn't want to leave 😢! Everything was perfect! Comfy beds, extremely well stocked kitchen, cute game room, lots of dvds and games. Great enclosed porch and hot tub, thoroughly enjoyed the wrap around porch and fire ring! Definitely recommend! We had 3 couples and plenty of room if someone wanted some alone time!

Great weekend!

Great cabin for everyone!! Everything we needed we had available. Only wish it didn’t rain all weekend—we were hoping to have a nice fire pit one night. The pictures of the cabin don’t do it justice! It was so much nicer than expected—very comfortable and nicely decorated. The property is gorgeous, nice and secluded. Would love to go back!

Weekend getaway.

We had a great time at this property. Way off the beaten path and private but close enough to town to be super convenient. All in all great stay. Could not get the internet access to work at all. Couldn't get any of the cd players/radios to work either. A few small things in the house could use some maintenance attention. But can't complain too much for such a great weekend. Hot tub was great. Had to call property manager to adjust temperature though. Still a 4/5 stay.

Not as advertised

Between the cigarette smoke, the mold, and the stickiness of the dishes, we did not stay. We got there, looked around, and moved to a hotel instead. Hoping that Vrbo will be willing to work with me about cancelling. The cigarette smoke and mold were unacceptable.

Dear Robin and any potential guest that looks at this review, please note that this is an unfair review. Our housekeeping services do an exceptional job. We had a scheduling issue with the homeowner and contractors were at the property when they guest arrived. The homeowner is very particular about this property and is always doing updates. The contractors were making a number of improvements to the property and were smoking out on the screened in porch that they were staining, which is entirely unprofessional and unacceptable. The contractors had also been in the house and it was not in the pristine condition that is normally our standard and the guests had a terrible experience upon arrival. We immediately offered to send housekeeping and maintenance to correct the issue, we were very polite and accommodating to the guest and issued them a refund when they declined to stay. We apologize for any issue and the guests were refunded. There is no mold in this property and this review is not representative of the numerous satisfied and happy guests that regularly return to visit. We again apologize to Robin and her group for this issue and hope they will give Berkeley Springs Cottage Rentals another opportunity to ensure they have a terrific vacation experience. Girls Getaway Weekend

We enjoyed the property. Everything in the house was easily accessible and kitchen was well stocked with cooking and dishes. Plenty of space to spread out. The hot tub area was very nice. I can imagine sitting out there and soaking in the relaxing mode. Couple downfalls- the bunk beds were very wobbly for an adult to be on the top bunk. There probably should be a exit door access in the basement (door was locked) for having a bed room down there. The listing also stated a pull out couch in the loft upstairs- that was a loveseat-no pull out bed. Overall it was a good stay for us girls. Most had never been to Berkeley Springs.

Great getaway in the woods but close to Berkeley Springs

We thoroughly enjoyed our time staying in the Sqyrls Nest. The management company communication and responsiveness was outstanding! The house which has a treehouse feel (as one is surrounded by woods) is quite comfortable and has some interesting features such as the music collection and games downstairs. Driving access to biking and hiking in the area is excellent!

Sibling weekend retreat

This property was amazing! Very clean and tidy, with up to date appliances. The screen porch was very nice, along with the propane grill, hot tub, shuffle board, and old albums and 45’s to play while playing and relaxing. Water pressure was great and the furniture super comfy. My five siblings and myself never felt crowded or uncomfortable. They truly thought of everything to make our stay just perfect! We will be returning! Never let your cleaning crew go, they are so meticulous, we all were all greatly impressed! The grounds were very well maintained and plenty of seats around the fire ring. Perfect weekend for six siblings to catch up after many years! As said before, we will be back🙂

Wonderful cabin

Cabin had everything we needed to cook and bath, etc. very clean and owner is thoughtful of his/her guests. Kids had a great time in game room with shuffle board and music.
