Reel in a relaxing waterfront retreat at this 4-bed, 3.5 bath Decatur vacation home. Nestled on the shore of the north end of Chickamauga Lake & the tail waters of Watts Bar Dam. Splash in the saltwater pool, treat yourself to an outdoor shower, or soak in the hottub for an unforgettable getaway! Everything’s here in our new custom kitchen! Make & enjoy family meals & game nights w/dining tables inside & out! The pool table & mini bar area is downstairs ready for family game nights or to provide those teenagers with their own private hideaway. Lounge on the back porch & take in the amazing sunset views!
The space
Our family’s vacation home for more than two decades, the house is equipped for fun for all ages. Prepared with families in mind, the long covered back porch is perfect for grilling out or gathering together. Table for 4 and seating area under the covered porch.

A children’s playhouse & picnic table is only 5 steps below the covered porch with gates & locks there to limit further access to the pool area for the little ones! Dining table for 6 with umbrella also on playhouse level.

In the front of the house, one step up onto a ramp from the driveway welcomes you home to the side porch hammock & propane fire table with cafe lights above it to make the perfect ending to a day at the lake. Unwind & build your own fire with wood in the stone firepit out in the backyard.

In the front you can enter from the carport with one step up into the main floor kitchen. Newly renovated kitchen has cherry cabinets and beautiful quartz countertops & backsplash. Open shelves to hold all of your supplies make moving in super easy! Full size GE refrigerator in kitchen with a second full size refrigerator next to dining area. Cook w convection oven/electric cooktop GE Profile stove & Microwave oven. Clean up with two Bosch dishwashers. Keurig that uses K-cups or ground coffee.

Dining area has table for 10-11 all open to the living area, as well. Three stools for seating at the new quartz kitchen island.

Main floor has bedroom one with queen bed, en suite shower bathroom & French doors opening to back porch and waterfront views.

Main floor bedroom two has queen bed and uses newly renovated main floor full bathroom two with dual sinks, quartz counters & combo bathtub/shower.

Workspace room off of dining area has large table to spread out everything you need to work from home. Discreetly in back of workspace room is the half bath and laundry area w stacked washer dryer. Second full size refrigerator also in this room.

Stairway leads from main floor hallway to lower level game room with pool table, minibar with fridge, microwave & bunk area with two twin over full bunk beds.

Lower level has bedroom three with king size bed. Door in hallway can be closed giving more private entrance into shared full size bathroom with shower. Hallway also is downstairs laundry area with top loader washer, dryer & utility sink.

Game room area with red pool table has French doors to open onto lower patio with the hottub & outdoor shower. Gates with locks limit access up to the swimming pool from backyard.

Walk into the private backyard from hottub/back patio area down to the wood burning fire pit with Adirondack chairs. Enjoy lawn games and your time outside on the level backyard.

Continue to walk your way down to the concrete dock area built right into the bank. Five concrete steps lead down from the backyard level to the concrete dock. Water levels rise & fall as determined by TVA’s discretion.

Five steps up to the deck from the backyard allow gated access to the 18x40 saltwater above ground pool. Three lounge chairs are by the pool as well as a bar height table & stools for four with umbrella. Outdoor/Beach towels have colors on them. Indoor bath towels are solid white. Pool is open may-September. Hottub is in use for your enjoyment year round.

Spectrum internet is available and provides television service. Verizon is the best cell phone carrier in this area. Central Heating and Airconditioning controlled by thermostat in kitchen area. Unique four digit code provided to access doorknob into carport door for contactless check in & check out.

This family house has been our vacation home for 20yrs and now we are grateful to live full time in the house next door. We go to work & when we come home, we value our privacy as much as you do your own privacy for a relaxing vacation! There is the benefit of knowing we are a phone call or text away should you need us, but we also are just as happy to be contactless/remote hosts should that be your preference!

Covered parking is available for two vehicles in the carport. Gravel driveway with loop on main level typically accommodates 3-4 additional vehicles.
