Willkommen in einem alten charmanten Haus aus dem Jahr 1892, voller positiver Energie.
Unser Haus liegt neben den schönen Stränden in Juan les Pins.
3 Schlafzimmer und ein offenes Wohnzimmer sowie eine altmodische provenzalische Küche mit Gasherd. Flachbildfernseher, DVD, WLAN.
Badezimmer mit großer Badewanne.
Schöner kleiner privater kinderfreundlicher Garten mit Mandarine, Trauben und Palme.
Waschmaschine und Trockner in einem kleinen Schuppen im Garten.
Kleiner Parkplatz (max. 4,5 m) neben dem Haus, der geschlossen ist, und die Möglichkeit, den öffentlichen Parkplatz in 50 m Entfernung zu nutzen.
Der Strand 2 Minuten entfernt, Bäckerei, Weinhandlung, Supermarkt, Bushaltestelle (Flughafenbus 250 und Busse vor Ort) und Kinderspielplatz um die Ecke.
Für Kinderfamilien gibt es ein Reisebett, einen Hochstuhl und Spielzeug für drinnen und am Strand.
Umschaltbare Klimaanlage / Heizung in allen Schlafzimmern und im Wohnzimmer / in der Küche sowie ein neuer weicher Teppichboden auf dem Flur und in den 2 Schlafzimmern im Erdgeschoss, daher bitte keine Schuhe drinnen.

Wonderful property

My wife and I spent 10 days at this wonderful property. Very close to the beach and restaurants. Outdoor space is very nice. Kitchen very well equipped and the bathroom is newly renovated. Would stay again.

Charming house

A charming house with great family accommodation and lovely outside space. Square Dulys has all the necessities needed on the doorstep and the town is a nice 10-15 minute stroll along the front. Camilla was very helpful and we would love to return.

Fab location, great family house!

The location of this property was absolutely perfect for those with a young family needing to get to and from the beach easily and quickly (literally a 2 minute walk!). The property itself was also great - good rooms, air con that works very well, fully equipped kitchen, and brilliant garden providing lots of shade for kids playing. Communication with the owner has always been very easy, with a quick response time! Would definitely recommend this property for those with a young family wanting a beach break!

Wonderful family vacation

The house was wonderful and truly perfect for a family beach week. We loved the updated kitchen and bathroom. There was everything we could possibly need including beach towels and toys for the kids. The host was incredibly communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is perfect with the beach, playground, grocery store and restaurants all within a few minutes’ walking distance. Thank you for a great vacation!

Perfect stay for a family

Really helpful host. Great space for a family, with the layout of the building and the front yard giving everyone lots of space. Tight parking space, but we got a mid size SUV in there with a little care. Air conditioning in each room except the bathroom lead to a very comfortable environment, even as the mercury started to soar upwards. And the location for the beach is exceptional! Overall, we loved it :)

Lovely place and thoughtful host

The house is very nice and the little yard outside is pleasant to sit in. It's a very easy walk to the beach and to shops nearby. There's a good house booklet with lots of info. Brian, the property manager was helpful. He came over and replaced a light bulb when we needed it. :-) The host was very gracious. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Great family house by the beach

We travelled as a family of four, with two kids aged 13 and 11. The house was perfect for us - with each child getting their own room and double bed. Location is ideal - less than 5mins walk to a lovely public beach, with all amenities right on your doorstep: bakery, deli, supermarket and a great wine shop. Great base for exploring the rest of the coast too - 10min walk to the station for the train to Monaco or Grasse. Or an easy 30min walk to Antibes. Check in was simple and communication with Camilla was excellent. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and has everything you need (nice wine glasses!) for a really easy and relaxed holiday. Lovely stuff.

Enjoyable - but ......

Have to totally agree with other reviews. Very well equipped Chalet and great service. Had problems to begin regarding the cooking facilities but was fixed ok. Camilla welcomed our 2 hour delay late night arrival with generous enthusiasm that we all needed badly at that point. My only complaint about the location was the noise from the road at the bottom of the garden. We were expecting some road noise but it was greatly increased by the reverberation off the tall buildings at the back, this plus the train noise was quite unbelievable at times. We realise nothing can be done about this but none of the reviews I read had mentioned this so have decided to mention myself as it would have helped me in my decision to book the property. I will end on a more cheery note, the beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept well.

Regarding the traffic noise- yes that what you can expect at some weeks in the summer,as you are in a very central location in Juan les Pins and 200 meters from the beach, thats the case with all rentals central and close to be beach in this area. No other guests has mention anything about that in 13 years. I am very sorry it was disturbing to you…. The upside to rent a place next to the beach is, you dont need to rent a car and if you prefere so we have a parking spot on our premises. It takes you 2 minutes to walk to the beach and no need to try to find a parking spot which is very difficult in the summer. You have all you need in walking distance, super market, air port buses,restaurants,deli shop, wine man, pizza van and much more. All the best and welcome back, Camilla

Welcoming spring in Juan Les Pins

We spent a week in March in Chalet Jacques. It was the perfect time to go, spring was just arriving on the Cote d'Azur and home in Switzerland it was still winter. The house is a rare pearl with it's lush garden and charming interior in the middle of Juan Les Pins! The house was really cute and cosy, we cound't have found a better place! We really enjoyed cooking in the kithchen and having breakfast under the mandarin tree in the garden. In the evenings we could enjoy watching movies, a hot bath or watching the fire in front of the fire place, a real luxury! We mostly got around on foot, since evrything was so close. Cap d'Antibes has a lot of beautiful walks and is also good for morning jogging. Old town of Antibes was lovely this time of year, cute houses and narrow streets. We spent a lot of time sipping espressos in the sun in one of all the cafés. We also made day trips to Cannes, Nice, Vallauris and Monaco. All by local train or bus which worked perfectly. Thanks to the landlady who is really lovable and helpful all the practical stuff was easily arranged. She really made sure we had a great stay at Chalet Jacques. Thank you so much for this wonderful week! We would love to come back! We really recommend staying at Chalet Jacques! /Erika and Urs Switzerland

Schönes Häuschen in guter Lage

Schönes, alles Häuschen in angenehmer Nähe zum Strand (2 min zu Fuß). Das Haus bietet genug Platz für 6 Personen. Der Garten ist nicht sehr groß, aber schön von Palmen beschattet und die Hängematte war sehr begehrt. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und hat uns im Vorfeld über alles Wissenswerte zum Haus informiert und auch über die Gegend haben wir sowohl davor als auch vor Ort ein paar Tipps bekommen. Die Übergaben haben mit dem Hausverwalter Brian wunderbar geklappt. In nächster Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants, eine tolle Bäckerei und mehrere Supermärkte. Ein toller Ort für einen Urlaub an der Côte d'Azur.

Tolles Haus

Tolles kleines Haus. Lage ist perfekt. 1-2 Minuten zu Fuss ans Meer. Einfach herrlich. Ein grosses Plus war in diesem heissen Sommer die Klimaanlage. Vermieterin Camilla und der Housemanger sind sehr herzlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke für alles…

Schönes Ferienhaus in sehr guter Lage zum Strand

Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, es eignet sich gut für 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut, im August ist das schon ganz angenehm. Wir haben hier sehr schöne Tage verlebt. Die Lage ist super zum Strand, Supermarkt und umliegenden Restaurants. Man kann sich von dort aus gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln bewegen. ( z.B.Bus nach Cannes oder Nizza) Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, man kann gut kochen. Der kleine Garten ist schön schattig, man kann gut draußen an dem großen Tisch sitzen, oder in der Hängematte liegen. Die Straße vor dem Haus ist befahrener, als wir dachten. Die Bahn hört man auch und das eine oder andere Flugzeug. Nachts ist es aber ruhig. Der Strand ist im August sehr voll, wir haben aber immer einen Platz gefunden. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt, schöne Ausflüge nach Antibes, Cannes, Nizza, Grasse und Menton gemacht.

We enjoyed our stay of almost two weeks in this lovely cottage. It is really a little paradise with this nice small garden to relax. The house offers a lot of space which is great for a family with children, it’s fully equipped and very well located: One the one hand very close to the beach, on the other hand supermarket, bakery and restaurants in walking distance. The proximity to the train station allows you to undertake excursions to nearby cities (like Cannes, Grasse, Nice, Monaco) without a car. Public transportation is also surprisingly cheap and the nearest bus station can be reached walking in just 5 minutes. This very central location does bring a little disadvantage though: Due to the proximity to the Nice airport you do hear the aircrafts loudly on some days (apparently their route depends on the wind direction). On other days there is no aircraft noise at all. Also the train rails pass closely by the house. But this is a trade-off you have to accept for this central location for which the advantages offset the disadvantages. Communication with the owner Camilla and the house manager Brian was very friendly and easy. Thank you both!

Antiker Charme in toller Lage

Schon bei der Ankunft im Chalet Jacques haben wir uns daheim gefühlt. Das alte Häuschen ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, alles, was man braucht, ist vorhanden. Der kleine Garten ist sehr geschützt, Dort lesen, essen oder in der Hängematte entspannen macht sehr viel Spaß. Der feine Sandstrand, Bäcker, Metzger, Supermarkt und einige Restaurants sind in unmitelbarer Nähe. Schnell ist man mit Auto, Bus oder Bahn in Nizza, Cannes, Monaco... Antibes ist ein wunderschönes, altes Städchen mit herrlichem Markt. Die Vermieterin war sehr fürsorglich, ihr Infoblatt gespickt mit hilfreichen Tipps. Die empfohlene Schifffahrt nach Monaco war wunderschön. Es war ein toller Familienurlaub, der Eltern und erwachsenen Kindern sehr gut gefallen hat. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen.Merci, Camilla!

Sauberes, gut ausgestattetes und ruhiges Haus mit kleinem Garten

Wir waren fast eine Woche zu Gast in diesem entzückenden Haus. Unsere Kinder (13, 9 und 4 Jahre alt) und mein Mann und ich haben uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt. Es ist wunderschön eingerichtet und die Ausstattung ist wunderbar für eine mehrköpfige Familie. Der Garten wurde rege von unserem Jüngsten gebraucht. Am Abend war es wunderschön draussen zu essen. Wir haben es sehr geschätzt, dass wir das Haus sehr sauber angetroffen haben. Herzlichen Dank an unsere Gastgeber und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Vacances en famille août 2024

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances dans la maison de Camilla. Maison très très bien située proche de toutes les commodités. Accès à la plage à pied, sécurisé en 2 minutes. La maison est une vraie oasis de tranquillité en ville. Nous étions en famille avec un bébé et deux enfants, c'était parfait. La maison est très bien équipée il ne manque rien. Camilla est disponible à tout moment pour répondre aux besoins Je recommande vivement la maison de Camilla!

Hele fijne vakantie met ons gezin met 6 volwassenen in het huis gehad. Alles was fantastisch goed voor elkaar Overal dichtbij. Heel fijn!

Du charme et un emplacement privilégié

Villa avec des chambres confortables et un jardin petit mais très agréable. Notre petite-fille a beaucoup apprécié. Camilla est une hôte aux petits soins et notre séjour a été très agréable.

Muy buena elección

Todo muy bien. La localización perfecta, muy cerca de una playa bonita con arena fina y aguas limpísimas y duchas. Habitaciones amplias y camas cómodas. Aire acondicionado en cada habitación. Muy limpio y bien equipado. Un jardín con bastante intimidad por la vegetación, lo único que hay bastantes mosquitos en esta época (llevar anti mosquitos). Tiene plaza de parking pequeña pero ha entrado un Q7 (haciendo maniobras…).

Maison cosy

C'est une maison cosy, confortable, à 2 min à pied des plages de San Juan, à proximité des meilleurs restaurants de la ville. Camilla est très réactive et ses conseils précieux.

Square Dulys which is around the corner offers, bakery, supermarket, wineshop, a few restaurants and bus stop ( buses to Cannes, Nice airport, Antibes, Sophia Antipolis etc.)
