Just 2.5 miles from the beach, tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood on a cul-de-sac, and nestled in the heart of Navarre. This home is an ideal spot for YOUR laid-back Florida retreat.

*Hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. No refunds will be given unless we are under mandatory evacuations. In the event of loss of power and/or internet, or any other "out of our control" event due to storms we will not grant refunds. Florida weather is unpredictable and we always recommend travel insurance.

A little history about the home:
Navarre Nook’s story is one of hope, resilience, and new beginnings—a history we proudly carry forward under the new ownership of Katie and Mario.

The Navarre Nook was founded by Ashleigh, and it began as a safe haven. Escaping an abusive relationship, Ashleigh bought the home with her two children, not as the highest or best offer, but because she poured her heart into a letter that spoke of dreams and new memories to be made. From the moment she stepped through the door, the house became a cherished sanctuary.

In 2021, Ashleigh boldly set out to transform her life. With her children by her side, she brightened every room with fun accent walls they chose together. Despite humble beginnings, saving diligently while subsisting on ramen, beans, and unwavering determination, the family soon moved into an apartment. It wasn't long before The Nook welcomed its first guests, whose heartfelt appreciation brought tears of joy. That initial love grew over time, and Navarre Nook blossomed into a cherished retreat, a testament to the strength of family and the beauty of transformation.

One of the home’s most treasured features is the framed mural by the dining table. The summer of 2020, Ashleigh envisioned a vibrant piece capturing the essence of Navarre Beach: the iconic Navarre Beach Pier, sea turtles in tribute to her grandmother, dolphins in cloud shapes, and local aerial wonders like an AC-130 gunship and a CV-22 plane—symbols of the nearby Hurlburt Field. With the help of Destin artist Andi, her bold vision was brought to life. This mural not only adorns the wall but also tells the ongoing story of Navarre Nook: a story of dreams realized and the unique spirit of this coastal haven.

Now, as Katie and Mario take the helm, they are committed to preserving every heartfelt detail of Navarre Nook’s legacy. They honor its rich history and the transformative journey that began with Ashleigh, while warmly inviting you to experience the magic, comfort, and inspiration that this home continues to offer.

We live in the area and are as available as you need us to be! We always love to get the chance to meet guests, but you likely won’t see us around unless you request something.

Other things to note
IMPORTANT: We don't have any pet-friendly beach areas in Navarre, but there is one in Gulf Breeze. Shoreline Beachside Dog Park is located about 20 miles from the Nook and is specifically designed for pets, making it a great spot for them. Additionally, there are two pet-friendly areas in Pensacola Beach located at lots 21E and 28B, but they are simply designated sections where pets are allowed.
