Local attractions include the Josiah Henson Museum, with a lovely park attached, and the Little Towns Children's museum. There's also plenty of dining and shopping, with everything from chain restaurants and big-box stores to local taverns and Asian fusion restaurants. Local malls include Pike & Rose, Montrose Crossing, and Federal Plaza. The nearby Bethesda Country Club is ideal for golf lovers, and the Locust Grove Nature Center is perfect for exploring the great outdoors. North Bethesda is served by the Red Line of the DC Metro at Grosvenor-Strathmore station.
