Great place, perfect for friends or family. The location was great, super close to all the hiking trails. Wifi worked great, hot tub was super nice, grill worked great. Literally has everything you need and more! Great communication with host super friendly !! Loved this place and would definitely come back!

Overall I would give the property 9/10 and the only deduction is for the listing that it "sleeps ten." Yes technically if you doubled up both full beds and doubled up the pull out and had a person on each couch yes it sleeps ten but not everyone is going to be comfortable with such an arrangement. I would say it sleeps six to eight comfortably and ten if necessary.The property is clean, easy to access, close to Hocking attractions, the WIFI was stable, kitchen had more utencils and tools than I normally see at a rental, and the space is very good. Just make sure you have the right number of people coming.

This cabin is truly hidden off the road, providing privacy and a sense of escape into nature. The property is well constructed and maintained. Very clean, well supplied kitchen, orderly, plenty of board games, puzzles and even foosball. The open floor plan and living space was great to linger and relax in. The hot tub was clean and refreshing. I would definitely consider coming back….

Only my husband, son, and I spent the night and was very comfortable. My family that lives in the area came for Thanksgiving lunch and loved the cabin so cozy, clean, and decorated very nicely. Would love to visit again.

Hidden Gem is a wonderful place to stay!

It was immaculately clean, and it was stocked with all the extra little things you might need. What a great, wooded location with privacy and peace and quiet. This cabin stands out far above others I have stayed in before. I'd highly recommend, and I would definitely stay here again sometime!

First day there, two children were stung multiple times by wasps. Swelling, itchiness, pain and irritation that lasted for several days due to the reaction my young son had detracted from our trip in a big way. They were over 20 nests found around the porch, not just one missed my maintenance, I would expected the property to be maintained better than this and to be safe. One guest had an a known allergy that would lead to a major medical event. Should she have been stung, Unfortunately left us very uncomfortable being outside. The floors and stairs were mildly dirty and had small black hairs on them. We were not allowed to use the fireplace despite some of the cooler nights and it being depicted in the pictures advertised, the salt had a dead bug in it. No basic pantry staples such as sugar or flour were provided . While customer service sent out an exterminator same day, there was no apology or inquiry of health for those injured by the wasps and the injuries and damage was already done.Home was otherwise nice, and spacious. The area was beautiful.

This is the perfect cabin!

This place was super clean, stocked with basics, comfy beds, big hot tub, great fire pit. Everything was perfect here for a trip to the beautiful Hocking Hills. We all loved this place!

Fantastic family getaway

We really enjoyed our family getaway at Hidden Gem in Hocking Hills. Upon pulling in down the winding driveway, the cabin was tucked back in the woods, truly hidden. The surroundings were peaceful and the cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The kids had a blast staying upstairs and looking down from the loft. We enjoyed a couple nights of s'mores by the fire and there was even a little walking path through the woods. The highlight was the hot tub. We all were able to unplug and relax!

Very nice cabin, horrible communication I had to call multiple times every day to reach someone

The cabin was very nice, the location was great however communication from Ryan was AWFUL! The contact phone number no one ever answers. I had to call 3 times in a row to get a hold of Ryan. I left several voicemails sent several emails all without a response. When I did get a hold of Ryan he never mentioned his lack of communication. The cabin was very nice except the pull out couch mattress needs replaced. Response time is important, I won’t book again because of the poor communication.

I left a note for the housekeeper with a few things that were needed. I'm not complaining, just wanted you to know. The smoke detector started beeping last night so we took it down so we could sleep. Batteries needed changed. The trashcan needed batteries as well. Lid wouldn't open. The chain to the main floor bedroom light broke. There were no dish towels. We couldn't get the grill to light. The youngest in our party is 74 making it difficult to take the trash all the way up to the end of the driveway. This was our 11th year to stay in a cabin and we've always had a trash can outside the cabin. I know animals get in it, but there has always been a bungee cord to strap the lid down. It is a beautiful cabin and we did have a great time, however with our ages we feel from now on we need a single story cabin. If you have any cabins like that would you please give me the names of them so I can schedule our next years trip. Thank you! Myra
