The Retreat is perfectly located, only 4 miles to Rock House, 5 miles to Conkle's Hollow and 6 miles to Old Man's Cave. The cabin has it all- hot tub, pet friendly, fire pit, treehouse and more. The cabin and property are private, peaceful and located in the heart of the hocking hills state park area. Property highlights include: 6 person hot tub, wood burning fireplace and wrap around porch that offers 360* views. The interior of the cabin is a nice mix of rustic and modern, offering all the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway. The firepit is just steps away from the deck and the on- property hiking trail, camping cabin and frog pond offer a diverse selection of interesting places to visit while you are visiting.

Great stay for a long weekend with dogs and kids. Clean and as described. The kids liked the treehouse with the slide. Hosts were very responsive and even took the extra step to send us something we left behind.

The house had absolutely everything we needed. It was spacious, private, and super comfortable and we were close to everything. It was way too hot to hang outside but in better weather we would have enjoyed the awesome deck or one of the fire pits.

It was beyond our expectations! We have been staying in Hocking every year for 20yrs. We are already planning our next vist to this wonderful cabin, & our guests were absolutely wowed as we were. It was immediately inviting and cozy as soon as you enter. We all instantly felt welcomed. The entire cabin had so many extra touches that were a delight for all of us. We had a grandchild with us and when she discovered the play room it was a huge hit. The cabin & property had so many things to keep her entertained; she didnt look at a screen until movie/game night. A wonderful selection of games, books, and the property, we all got to relax and reconnect with nature. The kitchen was so well equipped with w everything you could possibly need. It was very clean, the beds were so comfortable, it was the morning topic both morning. Both bathrooms were well stocked. The host was also so easy to work with. Very quick response to my few questions. And it was very close to the parks we wanted to enjoy. I will definitely recommend to friends and family in the future.

The main cabin has all the amenities and comfort of a traditional cabin. And if this was all that was offered at the property, you would love it. But the retreat part of the property offers some amazing opportunities. It starts with the views from the wrap around deck which is offered on all sides of the cabin. You can enjoy morning coffee, mid afternoon reading or a group dinner all on the deck. If you like to explore, the property has treasures to check out. Start by visiting the frog pond, located right next to the outdoor fire pit.
