Quiet for off property at Disney

Overall it was a lovely stay, Lynn was great with getting back to us as soon as possible and had everything we needed. Will try to book again Next May!

Great location , dated inside

Good experience, had some technical difficulties with wifi , host was very responsive, problem was resolved quickly. The place could use a Reno , definitely older inside, but was ok. We stayed in a different unit just down and it had been redone inside and had the lake view , we missed the view while staying in this one. Overall was still a good experience

Just stayed at this property Sept 5th -19th 2024 and we were very pleased with everything. The home was immaculately clean throughout on arrival. All items worked as should do and we really loved the layout and the kitchen area. Ice machine in the fridge was well used during our stay as was the Mr Cafe you can’t beat the fresh coffee smell every morning! All beds were very comfortable and as someone who doesn’t sleep well generally it was a bit of a shock being woken up after a great nights sleep. The walk in shower has a great non slip floor which was great as we always travel with a slip mat just in case but this was not required. Onsite amenities were lovely and the pool area was very nice. Our host Lynn was very attentive with any questions we had and was able to assist us with a late check out due to a later departing flight. Would I stay here again? 100% YES Thanks Lynn for a lovely stay and as regulars to Florida I doubt it will be long before we will be back I touch to book again :) Take Care Matt and Mark x

O.K. But a few issues.

The Oakwater location was centrally located to all major attractions and restaurants. It was very well landscaped. The pool and club house was very nice. The townhouse was in reasonable condition but we did experience a few issues. First the hot water tank stopped working but problem was corrected after a few hours. The TV in the common room stopped working and was not repaired. However we could use the TV in the bedroom. The dishwasher had no power. The light bulb next to the front door didn’t work. There was also a bulb out in a ceiling light. None if the issues were major and we still enjoyed our visit to Florida.

Hi, Thanks for taking time to write review. TV did not work a day before your checking out, then it was replaced right away with brand new 55" flat screen. Hot water tank did not work, it was easy fix by pressing reset button. We figured out the cause. It is easy fix. Wish you all the best, Lynn

Great Location

Great location! The condo was clean. We were 25min from Magic Kingdom, 55 min from Legoland, and 30 min from Islands of Adventure (GPS). The property owner was quick to reply when I had questions. Walmart was on the same street. The entire condo was all on one level upstairs. You entered through the lower level front door and immediately went up the stairs within the unit to the condo. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

Honeymoon stay

The property location was perfect for what we came for. The pool and Spa you can access were gorgeous and very clean! The few "complaints" that we had were the fact that there were 2 flights for a third upon entering that were not listed, were not handicap or anything just a pain lugging everything up and down the stairs constantly. The light switches in almost every room were pooping out of the wall just a cosmetic fix needed there. Also make sure that you literally pack everything if you plan on staying more than 2 days. Things like laundry soap, dish soap, toilet paper and trash bags. Yes you are literally right next to Walmart which was awesome but you cant buy just a few of these things without buying a whole box so it ends up being a waste of money for the person staying. Otherwise all in all the people were very friendly and the grounds were clean and beautiful! Thank you!!!

A perfect place for a family vacation

There's a lot I could say about Lynn's place, but I start with this: I definitively recommend that you stay there if you have the opportunity and will spend more than a couple of days in Kissimeere. The reasons are many: it's cozy, comfortable, well located, close to the Parks, a walking distance from a huge Wal-Mart, has a heated pool in the resort, etc. It's much cheaper than staying at a hotel and if you will stay 15 days, like us, much better to have more space for your family. And the beds and couches are so comfortable! You can cook your own food. You can wash your clothes. You can rent a car and park it in front of the apartment. All part of being there. The car issue is interesting: it's cheaper and easier to go by Uber/Lift to the Disney parks every day than to drive there and having to pay for parking. And it's also cheaper to get a car at the airport, drive to the apartment and drop off the car at one of the four companies that are very close there (Budget, Avis, Sixt and Enterprise). We didn't know that and got an Uber from the airport, but on our way back we rented the car and dropped it off at the airport - so much easier! There's room for improvement? Always. The TVs could be smart TVs and allow us to log on to our Netflix accounts, and the blinds don't block the light in the mornings. Ah, the house lock is quite tricky, but eventually you will get the hang of it. Minor issues that won't take you the pleasure of staying there. My family loved it and the apartment was a huge part of making our trip unforgettable to all of us. We will return if we have the opportunity!

We love the neighborhood and the pool and splash pad just down the street. The condo is nice but there were some small things that need to be touched up. Overall, the beds were comfortable and the location was perfect for a Disney World visit.

Great stay, Lynn was very responsive via email and the unit had every basic that you could need for a Disney getaway. Also, very close to the parks and immediately next to a 24 hour Walmart (to help with any last minute needs); perfect spot! Would definitely stay here again.

It is definitely a place I want to return next year. Kitchen supplies are more than enough for six people. It's decorated tastefully and up to date. Beds are so comfortable. We cannot say enough about this home! We would highly recommend this place!

The unit was very close to Disney World and main roads. Over all Thr unit was very nice but. The unit could have had more appliances(mainly pots and pans). We were required to wash our towels before we left and that did not make sense. We had a issue with the electronic lock on front door and since I did not have any idea how to fix it. I tried everything and finally figured out how to get it working again. I called the owner and Homeaway and since it was late no one was available for help. The cost had extra fees since I could not pay by check or credit card. I believe a more up front with that information while you are looking for property would have helped me decide where I stayed.

Hello Steve, Thanks for taking time to write review. I wish I was informed during your stay, so I can resolve the issue right away when you were there. I check my emails max every 30 minutes and on call 7x24. I did not receive your call when you had a problem with lock. The instruction is clearly stated in check in info sheet. I never had anyone complained,, but I will add picture for how to use the lock in check in sheet for next guests. I just delivered some new pan, pot, set of dishes to the unit this morning. Now is more than enough for 10 people even though this unit fits 6 people. Regarding fees, when you make on line reservation via homeaway, homeaway charges your "service fee" which including some insurance. For my fees, it clearly stated Tax and Cleaning fee. That's all.
