The property has recently been redone do everything is beautiful and very clean. The unit is perfectly located for a short walk to the marina and Main Street.

My wife and I felt it was a real privilege to stay in such a beautifully restored Spanish bungalow. The location is perfect easily walkable to things downtown and close to the Ringling bridge to get to Saint Armand and Lido Key Beach.The bungalow itself had been painstakingly restored was exceptionally clean and beautiful. Whenever I ran into any issue, the property manager responded quickly. My wife and I will definitely stay here again. I would love to own this property. It’s so nice.

Today I was shocked to received a 70 charge for a broken mirror (8 online today) & “stained”cups(??)Mirror propped behind bedroom door and was hit by the door knob and cracked. Most of kitchen ware was nice vintage purchases in good used condition. The coffee cups had normal wear and some shade variation inside when we arrived. We made tea in a couple of the cups and washed them in dishwasher, nothing unusual. I didn’t notice anything extreme except that they became too hot to touch when used in microwave. I explained this to the host who kept a very firm line on 70 for the mirror and the cups (unsure how many) saying I should have mentioned mirror placement and wear on dishes at check in. When we reserved patio pictured a grill & move in instructions detailed “leave BBQ grill the way you found it”but we couldn’t find it so inquired with the host. Response curt and without apology stated there was never a grill or picture(then why detail its care). Weird, I could totally have accepted an honest ‘we decided to remove it for safety reasons’ Didn’t want to communicate wit host again,I was especially careful exiting as a reviewer mentioned charges.A frequent VRBO renter I have never given a negative review and am rated 5*The property was very nice, we had planned to rent again. Interaction with host was unsatisfactory.Thankfully we weren’t charged for pre existing stains on rug & sofa. Renter inspect carefully!

It was exactly as described. Beautiful inside & out. Great neighborhood with friendly people. We were in the property across from the cinema. Sat out on the patio every evening, listening to music from the Fish Camo down the ateeet chatting with people out walking. Would love to stay there again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great location, cleanliness could improve

The house is in great location. The down side was that we had dirty folded towels, dirty sheets and a dirty duvet. The washing machine was also overflowing and the property manager expected us to wait for the technician to show up, the technician didn’t show up and washing was not repaired but we got the checkout instructions to run the washing machine.

Wonderfully renovated stand alone 2BR

We could not have been more happy with the unit itself and its centralized location. Easy walk to everything downtown. All new furniture, appliances and kitchen supplies. Only issue is we were expecting one king and one queen. Instead the unit was furnished with two queens. One other smaller issue was fact that one of the BR’a TV did not have a remote thus not functional. Our request for a replacement was ignored by the property manager we reported it to. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice Property

I was quite excited to find a property so centrally located in downtown Sarasota. The stay consisted of 4 days for myself and 2 friends and we find the property very nice for the most part. There were a few drawbacks which is why my rating is only average. In the 4 days that we were there we could not figure out the TV with any consistancy. There are TVs in each bedroom and a Main TV in the living room. We spent more time trying to get the TV to work than we actually spent watching. It happened to be championship weekend for the NFL so we had interest in all games. SO be aare you likely will not enjoy fighting with e the remote on the TVs. Probably the biggest disappointment is that when we left we made every effort to comply with all the instructions making sure the trash was taken out. Linens were left ready to be washed and we check the unit for no trash of any kind. When I got homw I get a note with a charge of 20.00 that is being charged for a stain on a towel that needed to be replaced. This is totally bogus charge in my opinion because I did see a small amount of blood. I mean very small amount which was the result of shaving. and wiping my face. The owner claims the towel needed to be replaced and hence the 20.00 charge. Let be serious have you ever cut yourself shaving in a hotel and gotten a charge for soiled linens. This is just an attempt to extract extra income from an honest customer. For that reason I doubt I would stay again because integrity
