As you enter The Lazy Bear Cabin, you’ll be greeted by a spacious downstairs living area and game area, perfect for relaxation and storing your items when coming in from your vehicles. The main floor features two inviting bedrooms and a fully renovated bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

 

The newly designed gourmet kitchen includes brand new stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked for you to make a home cooked meal. It opens to the living room, making it easy to converse while preparing meals. Cozy up in the home and enjoy views of the surrounding nature. The wrap-around deck is home to serene pond views to enjoy in the morning when sipping on your coffee.

 

The second level houses two bedrooms and one full bathroom that are professionally designed to ensure maximum comfort. Our 1st upstairs bedroom features a king bed, and the 2nd bedroom features two twin over twin bunk beds, perfect for the kiddos!

 

Outdoor living is spacious and inviting, with a large deck for dining al fresco. Unique amenities include a Dome, bowling alley, turf games area, sand pit, and kids' playground. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for gathering on starry nights.

⚫You’ll receive our automated check-in instructions 📩 24 hours before your arrival, so everything you need will be ready ahead of time for a smooth and easy check-in!

⚫Our homes use electronic door locks 🔐 for your convenience. A door code will be sent to you automatically ⏰ 2 hours before check-in time, unless you’re checking in earlier.

⚫When it’s time to head out, we’ve got you covered too! 🧼🕒 Our checkout instructions will be sent a day before your departure, you'll receive them at 2:00 PM the day before your checkout.

Our home is located in Kidder Township, which is close to it all!



Getting Around:

Getting around would be best in a car. Our home is it's own private oasis so you won't need to travel to much!

⚠️ Propane for grills/fire pits is not guaranteed; if empty, refill the existing tank (do not buy a new one) and provide a receipt for reimbursement.

⚠️ Rural setting: occasional small insects; year-round pest control is in place.

⚠️ Wildlife: black bears may be spotted; keep food and trash secured.

⚠️ Winter Driving: 4WD/AWD strongly recommended. Plowed driveways can vary with weather; guests cover any towing costs if stuck.

⚠️ Lost & Found: $50 handling fee applies for return shipping, separate from shipping costs.

⚠️ Trash: Bag and dispose of all trash in the bear box/trash shed before checkout. $5 per bag disposal fee applies for any trash left inside or outside the designated area.

📌Submitting a valid ID and signing our rental agreement after confirmation is required, or your reservation will be cancelled.

📌A refundable security deposit is required for all one-night stays and non-Airbnb bookings. For Airbnb, it is an optional add-on for extra insurance.

♨️ Hot Tub Notice

 

📌If a hot tub needs emergency draining/refilling due to prior misuse, it may take until the evening of your first night (or longer based on weather) to heat up.

📌Professionally serviced after each stay with time-stamped verification photos. Any guest-requested extra cleaning/service during the stay incurs an additional fee billed to the guest.

📌Rinse off before use (lotions/sunscreen affect water clarity).

➡️Minimum age to rent is 25. Pet Fee: $150/animal. Early Check-in: $50/hr. Late Check-out: $50/hr. All extra fees are non-refundable. Fireplace is for design purposes only.

 

‼️Notice:

◾For reservations made outside of Airbnb and Booking.com, please note that a $500 security deposit will be included for security purposes. This deposit is fully refundable within fourteen (14) days of checkout, provided no damages to the home or community penalties are reported.

◾Additionally, our account is not set up for VRBO or HomeAway to collect the remaining balances or security deposits directly. These are collected by us, with payments securely processed via Stripe or Bill.com.

◾For additional peace of mind, you are welcome to confirm this arrangement with VRBO support. Thank you!
