Discover your perfect secluded escape nestled in the woods of the Poconos. Peace and tranquility await you in this newly constructed & beautifully designed pet-friendly chalet surrounded by 50ft pine trees on 1.7 acres. This 4 bedroom 3 bath beautifully furnished retreat offers outdoor fun with a hot tub, fire pit, and huge wrap-around deck. Inside, you will find a spacious kitchen, gas fireplace, and large game room equipped with a full-sized pool table, poker/game table, widescreen smart TV, and classic arcade game. Events such as weddings for up to 40 guests for an additional fee but, only a max of 12 overnight guests are allowed. Approximately 15-20 vehicles can park at the property.

The property was exactly like photos and everything worked as intended. The hot tub was a blast just relaxing in it while it’s 45 degrees outside, the surrounding area is covered by woods and state game land, watching the wildlife was pretty awesome, never thought I would actually see a bear! Overall the property was great, we had a party of 6 people and no one was cramped up. Plenty of space in the drive way for 4 vehicles and a 24’ pontoon boat. I would definitely reccomend this property to friends and family. There was no shortage of peace and tranquility with this house. We will be back next year for our annual fishing trip.

My group of friends chose this chalet because of its location and excellent reviews. We came to hike in the area and bike the Lehigh Gorge Rail Trail. The chalet was close to all of our activities. Check in was easy and the host responded to our questions immediately. The kitchen is well-equipped to prepare meals, including a griddle which was wonderful for our pancake breakfast! There were not enough ceramic plates for our group of 9, so we needed to use the inexpensive plastic dinner plates. We were not a fan of those. Many of us enjoyed the outdoor hot tub after a day of strenuous activity. It was nice to have a pool table and games to play at night. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the lack of cleanliness. Bathroom sinks, toilets, shower/tub and kitchen counter, sink, appliances, utensils and cookware were clean. However, when we arrived, the floors looked like they had not been vacuumed or swept (crumbs, dead millipedes, hair and outdoor debris). We did our own sweeping and vacuuming. We mentioned this to the host, but did not receive a return comment. The windows in the ground floor bedroom were covered with thick webs inside and we killed a couple of big black and brown spiders, along with many more millipedes. Some of us wondered about the cleanliness of the bedding. It didn't seem fresh, regardless if unscented detergent might be used. Other than this one complaint, we enjoyed our stay at the spacious Pocono Chalet.

Clean and Welcoming

We enjoyed our stay at your home. The place was clean and welcoming. All the rooms were as seen in the pictures. The location was near a lake and hiking.Our only concern was it was advertised as air-conditioned which only included two over head units in the main rooms. We were there for some hot days and the air was not sufficient for the weather. The ground level was especially warm since it did not have any air.The celing fans did help but more window air conditioners are needed for a summer rental.

Weekend Away with Friends

I stayed here with 3 other couples for the weekend, and we found the house to be perfect for us! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other, but also plenty of space to all share a meal, play a game, etc together. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals at the house. The game room and various games and puzzles throughout the house were a nice addition. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and helpful, as was the welcome packet with info on what to do in the area. The hosts were very responsive to my questions, giving responses within minutes each time. We would definitely stay here again!

Secluded Chalet, bring the pups!

Communication was perfect and timely, our special request was met with openness and agreement. The space is wonderful with a nice bit of privacy. There is a nice hiking trail nearby that includes a waterfall, easy path too! Plenty of space, we had 8 adults and dogs.

Great getaway

We had a really fun long weekend in the Poconos. The property was great and the house had what needed for a quick getaway. The location of the house was terrific. So many trails and local sights nearby and the owner provided lots of suggestions on the property listing and in a binder at the house. A pool table, cornhole and a hot tub were great features!

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect property to meet up with family to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle. The weather was not yet hot enough for water activities and no snow for snow activities. So this house was the perfect place for us to have the kids ride bikes, dogs playing catch and going for walks. Then a nice relaxing soak in the hot tub and s’mores at the fire pit! Once we were done outside we put on the fireplace inside and played games and talked late into the night. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out and relax! Great property and great host! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Quick family trip

Great home with space for families to enjoy. The house overall was clean however the kitchen counters were sticky and upstairs bathroom was dirty with trash left in the waste can. Also the shower upstairs doesn’t drain properly so the tub had dirt rings around it. There was water bottles and beer cans left around the fire pit when we arrived and the neighbors complained about our kids playing in the woods. These were minor issues and overall we enjoyed the house and it’s a great location near lake Harmony, golf courses and fun restaurants.

Really fun time with family - convenient to Big Boulder

We had a great time at our recent long weekend stay at this property! We came with some family to hang out but also pop over to Big Boulder for snowboarding. It's super close to Big Boulder and nearby restaurants but also the location of the house itself is peaceful and secluded.We had kids with us and they had a blast with the arcade machine, hot tub, and fire pit. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. The house has everything you need.We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Hidden Gem

Great spacious house! Hot tub was a perk, kitchen well equipped, (minus coffee) and the individual thermostats for the rooms were super nice. Beds were a little hard but fine for a weekend. And the basement has a queen bed and bunk beds in the same room, it was hard to tell beforehand but good to know. Outdoor spaces were nice and the deck is great. Definitely remember to bring your own propane as the owner doesn’t refill it for the BBQ between tenants. Only a 10 minute drive to the slopes and even closer for a few restaurants. Nice and secluded, no traffic. Highly recommend for a big group or a few couples!

I grew up in a small town about 20 minutes from Lake Harmony and spent many weekends of high school and college working as a lift attendant at Big Boulder in the winter and setting up rafting trips for a local whitewater rafting company in the summer. Work took me to Texas but this house has allowed my family to spend more time with Grandpa and Grandma in PA.

We spent many months looking at properties in the area. Pictures can be very deceiving. Many houses in this area are older with very dated interiors. This house was built in 2021. It is simple, clean, and classy.

The house is surrounded by 50ft pine trees and you can't see or hear your neighbors. With that being said, you are a 5 minute drive to restaurants, groceries, a state park, and a ski resort.
