Welcome to Sol Retreat — our peaceful Northern Michigan escape, just steps from the sparkling shores of Lake Huron and your very own private beach. Whether you're soaking in the sunrise, skipping stones, or enjoying a picnic by the water, this place offers the kind of calm you can feel in your soul.
One of the things we love most? We're just 20 minutes from the magic of Mackinac Island — close enough for an easy day trip, but far enough to enjoy the quiet serenity of Cheboygan.
The home features three comfortable bedrooms and two full bathrooms, thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials: high-speed WiFi, AC, heating, a washer/dryer, and space to unwind. With room for up to nine guests, it’s perfect for family getaways or memory-making weekends with friends.
We designed Sol Retreat to be a place where you can truly slow down — where mornings are for coffee by the lake, afternoons for adventure, and evenings for laughter around the fire pit.
We hope it becomes your happy place too.

Hi! We’re a Michigan-based family who fell in love with the charm and peacefulness of Northern Michigan — especially Cheboygan and the beautiful Lake Huron shoreline. We love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, relaxing at the beach, or exploring nearby gems like Mackinac Island.
Being hosts has been such a rewarding experience for us. We truly enjoy creating a space where guests can unwind, reconnect, and make lifelong memories — just like we have. Sol Retreat is our personal escape from the busy everyday, and we’re so excited to share it with others.

We chose this neighborhood because it offers the perfect mix of peaceful seclusion and easy access to adventure. Nestled just across the street from Lake Huron, the area is quiet, friendly, and full of natural beauty. The private beach just steps from the house was a huge draw for us — it’s the perfect spot to start the day with coffee or end it with a sunset bonfire.
We love how close we are to Cheboygan’s charming downtown, yet still feel tucked away in our own little slice of paradise. And being only 20 minutes from the Mackinaw City ferry makes it so easy to spend the day exploring the magic of Mackinac Island.
Whether it's walking along the shoreline, biking the local trails, or just listening to the waves at night, there's a calmness here that we haven’t found anywhere else — and that’s exactly why we love it.
