Golf and Tennis are available on a public and accessible basis, with reservations and pay-per-play options. It offers easy access to numerous activities, including skiing, snow tubing, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, winery visits, fine dining, shopping, and plays at Lees-McRae and the Appalachian Theatre.

Nearby attractions include Grandfather Mountain's hanging bridge, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Beech Mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, and Linville. Experience the best of the High Country with endless recreational and cultural opportunities.

The condo has a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, fast internet, Smart TVs (3), hair dryers, and comfortable furniture. It was recently renovated and is centrally located to most amenities in Banner Elk, Sugar, Beech, and Grandfather Mountains, to name a few. The kitchen should offer everything you need during your stay. It includes a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker (drip), and Keurig pod, cooking basics, spices, dishes, flatware, glassware, utensils, trash bags, paper towels, cloth towels, and dish detergent.

Unwind on the open deck overlooking the mountain laurel and seasonal golf course view, or in front of the stone fireplace, or watch TV on the Smart TVs (ready for your favorite streaming service). If you need to do some work, no worries—the fast Wi-Fi makes it easy from 4,000ft!

Important FAQs:

Electric Heat with thermostat. The unit does not have A/C, as summers in Sugar Mountain are cool. However, you can open the windows and the sliding door in the living room to let in the cool mountain breeze. The unit features ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room, if needed.

The condo is one level. However, the walkway from the parking lot has 8 steps to reach the front door.

Please keep food from vehicles and dispose of trash in bear-proof community trash containers.

The fireplace remote to operate the fireplace is on the right side of the mantle.

For guest safety, the unit has two Nest smoke/CO2 detectors, a Fire extinguisher, and an outdoor Nest doorbell with a camera at the front door (facing out).

The town of Sugar Mountain regularly plows the streets in the winter. However, driving conditions can be hazardous. Use caution while driving in icy or snowy conditions.

Sugar Mountain follows a "quiet time" ordinance (prohibits loud noises) daily from 11 PM to 8 AM. 

No parties or large gatherings in the condo are allowed.

Recommend one (1) car per booking if feasible.
