Unsere Beach Home ~ Paradiesvögel, ist eine fabelhafte zweistöckigen Haus versteckt in der ruhigen Nachbarschaft von Nature Walk entfernt. Seaglass befindet sich im Herzen der Gemeinde und bietet Unterkünfte für bis zu (8) Personen bequem. Die erste Etage verfügt über zehn Meter hohen Decken und einen offenen Grundriss der Küche, Ess- und Wohnbereich aus, die zu einem Kinderspiel macht unterhaltsam. Die erste Etage ist durch die Master-Suite mit eigenem Bad abgeschlossen, die eine Jacuzzi-Wanne und Walk-in-Dusche.

Wie Sie Ihren Weg nach oben machen Sie einen zusätzlichen Wohnbereich finden, die die perfekte Umgebung für die Kinder ist zum Abhängen. My friend of 53 years, her 2 girls, my daughter in law and I had a fabulous time! The golf cart was a super great addition to the accommodations. All of our favorite restaurants were just a short golf cart ride away. We shall return! ps….the mama bear and three cubs were a treat to watch.

Great house

This is our second time staying here. Great house, clean, lots of room for our family, love the volleyball court in the backyard, golf cart to take us to and from the pool, etc. We willl totally stay here again!

Awesome experience

Beautiful location and great property with incredible amenities. We stayed as a family with two small kids (1, 4) and our parents, and it was perfect. The ease of accessing all the amenities in and around the community is incredible - so easy and relaxing! Great experience.

Very relaxing vacation. Loved the screened in porch with swing. Appliances were awesome in kitchen. Bedrooms & baths were very comfy & clean. Loved the two pools, volleyball nets & the bike trails.

Birds of Paradise

Birds of Paradise is a lovely home and we had some great neighbors. Home has a wonderful collection of books. We never once used the golf cart. I did a lot of walking everyday and reading in the evenings and early mornings. The home is a convenient location to everything. So many wonderful restaurants here and enjoyed being walking distance from Publix. Hope to see you next year.

Had not been to that area before so didn't know what to expect. The house was perfect, clean, updated and had everything you needed. The golf cart to get around town was ideal. Would definitely stay there again without hesitation. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the rental staff. Perfect relaxing getaway .

Rental was great. Location to the community pools and nearby Publix and restaurants is wonderful. We had an issue with the smoke detector, and they were very prompt to repair it. Response times on other inquiries were very quick.

We’ve stayed here several times. It is very comfortable but the beds are either too hard or too soft. The TVs all need replacing to keep up with technology. The WiFi can be slow and inconsistent, the router likely needs to be replaced. But, we’ve enjoyed staying here and the golf cart is great.

Overall Great Stay- READ BEFORE STAYING

This house was beautiful and the neighborhood was nice. We had a few issues with the house that maintenance quickly responded to and fixed. **Just a heads on up a few things. First, if you plan to use the golf cart, be sure to message the company ahead of time as they have a waiver for you to complete and they will need copies of your driver's license and auto insurance. We didn't know this and had kids waiting in their swim suits for like 20 minutes waiting to get the lockbox code to obtain the key. Also, there are only 2 parking spots. If you have more than 2 cars, they will give you the number to a storage facility that you can pay to park at. We just parked on the street in the neighborhood and left a note in the window with our phone number if we needed to move, and didn't have any problems. Lastly, they only had 2 kitchen towels, so you might want to bring some extras with you. All that being said, it was a really nice place. The pool was absolutely incredible! We actually stayed at a much more expensive place on the beach for the second half of our trip, and we wished we could have stayed at this place the whole time instead. We would gladly stay there again!

We apologize for the inconvenience of having to take the time to fill out the waiver with anxious kids ready to get to the beach, but the waiver protects us both, and is mentioned in the listing. We also send an email out prior to your arrival asking if you would like to fill it out prior to arriving to save you time, and apologize if for some reason this went to your junk email. The parking spots are also in the listing of the home so that no one is surprised when they arrive that there are only 2 designated spots. The storage facility is not affiliated with us, and we only offer that information as a courtesy to guests who reach out needing a place to park their extra vehicle. Again, we are very happy you enjoyed your stay, and look forward to hosting y'all again in the future!

Thank you for letting us stay in your home. While we were pleased with the layout and accomodations, I thought I would provide some overall feedback. Upon arrival, I would not state that the house looked "clean" There was sand still on the main level and the master on the main was very dusty. Thank goodness you have a vacuum and broom- we did what we could to take care of it. I would highly recommend you ask your cleaning service to dust under the master bed. The kitchen was fine. Surprised there was not a blender on site. But the other appliances were nice. We could not get the coffee grinder to work. The pillows were dusty on the couch and could use some TLC. We were very disappointed in the internet. We specifically choose homes that have high-speed so we can continue to work while away. We never got the internet to work. We've stayed in other homes on this property and never had this issue, so very disappointed about the internet. The golf cart was great and a nice addition to the home! Not related to the home directly, but the Gathering Place pools were REALLY hot. Not a nice cool dip to survive the heat. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your home.

We are sorry that the guest felt that the home was dusty and had excess sand, and we are sorry that they had issues with the coffee grinder. We would have been more than happy to have had the cleaners come back to the property to address any concerns, we would have also replaced the coffee grinder and brought a blender, but we were never made aware of any of these concerns. We will be replacing the coffee grinder and supplying the home with a new blender. This was a great suggestion. We are happy that the guest was able to enjoy the use of the golf cart, it is a great amenity to have at the home. In regards to the internet, there were internet outages across Santa Rosa Beach that week and this was not an isolated issue. We state in our agreement and communications with guests that Holiday Properties Inc. is not responsible for internet service interruptions due to local service provider outages / maintenance issues. Should guests require internet during their stay, we recommend bringing a back up portable hot spot supported by their cell service carrier. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused. We thank the guest again for the review and for staying at our beach home.

Dirty- Maintenance Issues- BUGS- and lack of response to fix problems

We checked into Birds of Paradise on July 23, 2022. The house is in need of a good cleaning and new paint. Upon arrival, we noticed that there were black dirt rings in the toilets- obviously the toilets had not been cleaned well. We also found a cup with foul smelling water and a dead crab in it in the upstairs desk. When we got into bed that evening, there was sand in the sheets. There was sand all over the kitchen island and on the floors. The furniture covers are stained. On arrival, the water/ice did not work on the refrigerator - and it was too late to get ice at the store. Maintenance did come the following day - and said that housekeeping had shut the water valve off to the refrigerator - and this had been a common problem with other houses for this company. We then started noticing dirty brown roaches in the kitchen after check-in and after maintenance had pulled out the refrigerator to fix the water issue. It started when one crawled across the trashcan. I reported this by phone and by email - and was assured that pest control would come - but no one ever did. The roach problem grew daily. We would see multiple roaches crawl out from under the refrigerator, around the dishwasher, etc. We had left a beach towel to dry across a kitchen stool, and when we picked up the towel, there was a roach on the towel. Despite multiple calls, texts, and emails - pest control never came to address the issue - the fact that we were assured they would be there "within the hour". I had to buy roach spray at Publix and tried to control the problem myself. Finally- on Wednesday- a maintenance man came by with the same roach spray I had bought at Publix and sprayed around in the kitchen. This did nothing about the problem. Professional pest control never came. I was told that Jason- the owner- had been made aware of the problem and that professional pest control was always "on the way". No professional pest control ever showed up the entire week. We killed dozens of roaches on the floors and walls of the kitchen. It was DISGUSTING. I have rented houses in the Seagrove, Seaside, Watercolor areas for years. The last several years we have rented in Naturewalk. I have NEVER- EVER- had a bug problem anywhere at any rental- much less nasty small brown roaches. And - upon checkout - we were simply told they were sorry for the inconvenience. Also - the deadbolt to the outside door with the keycode lock became stuck in the locked position late Monday evening. There were no tools at the house- and a neighboring house had to bring a tool and help me remove the deadbolt to be able to close the outside door. I reported this - but no one from maintenance ever came to repair the deadbolt - and it was still off the door at checkout. The only good thing about this house was the golf cart- which appeared fairly new and worked very well. This house needs cleaning and pest control. Our complaints were met with - we will have someone come - but the problems were never addressed- aside from the water/ice on the refrigerator day 1. I will never use this company again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It’s always our goal that our guests have a wonderful and stress free stay while vacationing with us. I am sorry you encountered any inconveniences during your trip. Next time you vacation with us, please reach out for any cleaning concerns you may have. Had these accusations been accurate, we would have sent someone over right away to remedy the situation. We have cleaners and inspectors that go through each house prior to our guests arrival. Our inspectors didn’t note any of things you mentioned. When maintenance arrived they noted the guests had unplugged the refrigerator, not that the water valve was shut off. I am sorry this caused you an inconvenience but this is not a common issue we experience and was remedied immediately upon plugging the fridge right back in. In regards to the palmetto bugs that are part of the Florida life, I am sorry you saw some during your stay. This house has professional pest control with regular applications. Our team came out twice to assist during your stay and a professional company came by multiple times for application. Every time they arrived there was either no one home or they were denied entrance for additional pest control support. As mentioned above, we want our guests to have the most stress free and relaxing trip. We don’t keep tools on site, but instead, want to always handle any issues for our guests. We do not have any maintenance reports or communication from you requesting maintenance for this issue. The deadbolt was fixed immediately after your departure when found upon inspection. In responding to reviews, we always want our guests to know how much we value them staying with us and trusting us with their vacation! Unfortunately, there are multiple parts to this review that simply are not true and as such, we feel the need to speak the truth about the things mentioned above. This is a beautiful house in a great location! We’re always open to hearing from our guests if there is an opportunity for us to improve and we are always happy to help and support any needs that may arise. I hope you had a lovely vacation despite a few inconveniences during your stay.

Do Not Stay Here

While this house was in a great area, and had great spaces, it was not clean. There was mold on the upstairs bathroom ceiling which was very concerning. The slip covers on the couches were old and very stained. There were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling and the floors turned our feet black from grime. We were also without a golf cart for the first day and a half because there was not a key left in the box. It took awhile to get a hold of someone to bring us another key. But most troubling is that we were charged for a broken TV after we left the house. We were not contacted in advance about the alledged damage, we found out because of a charge we saw on our credit card. Once I contacted itrip, I asked for documentation of the damage and they still have not gotten back to me. I also tried to contact the property supervisor and he never replied. We know the TV was working the morning we left and it’s very frustrating to be charged for something with zero proof. I unfortunately would not reccomend staying here.

Beautiful home!

Everything about the home was as pictured. Very pretty. It was a great house. It needs a power wash outside as well as a quick clean to porch furniture. The golf cart did not work the entire trip. Which is one of the biggest draw to the property for us. So if you stay, make sure before hand that the cart is back in order. Or rent one! Amenities we’re great. Check in and out were seamless.

So much to do!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Birds of Paradise! The screened in front porch is perfect for kids. The door is very secure where the kids cannot leave the porch and can come in and out as they please. You are right around the corner from the pool and playground. The golf cart was wonderful to have to pick up pizza at Pizza by the sea or run to Publix. We went to the public beach at Santa Clara and was able to park easily there. We went to the Hub one night and Seaside another night. The kids loved the neighborhood so much they wanted to go back the rest of the evenings to hang out there. This house is right by the volleyball courts and nature walk path. We will be back!

Great location, plenty of room

We enjoyed our stay with Birds of Paradise. Just outside of seaside in NatureWalk offers a little peace and slower pace than the hustle of staying in Seaside, while just a bike ride or golf cart ride away. House was great space. Loved having 3.5 baths and plenty of beds. Best beds we have stayed in while traveling. House could use a fresh coat of paint and family room pic on sight is not the same furniture as in house.

Great Service ring Break in Great Location!

Two families of four rented this beautiful property for spring break this year. We had a great time with lots of room and amenities at the house as well as a great location and surrounding area with Townsend beaches to visit. We would definitely stay here again! The pool was the best, the heated pool and the hot tub and the on heated pool all got used the week we were there. The kids loved going from the heated pool to the not heated pool and the adults enjoyed the hot tub.

We had a wonderful stay!

The house was perfect for our group of two families! Nice and big, each couple had a master suite and there was lots of room for the kids. The golf cart was fantastic and we used it to go to the beach and pool everyday. We used our rental credit to rent bikes for the extra two people that wouldn’t fit on the golf cart and that worked great for going to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and front porch was lovely. The proximity to the grocery store, pool and beach was great. We were flying from Canada so it would have been really helpful if beach towels had been available, they take up a lot space. Overall it was fantastic and I would stay again.

We do provide a list of items that are included for your stay, but get it that these are bulky items. We usually recommend a quick trip to a local discount store for items like that if guests do not want to pack them.
