The property was great and aesthetics pleasing. Clean and had everything we needed. The only thing we didn’t care for was that one of the bedrooms shouldn’t be considered a bedroom. It was a mattress on the floor in a very small space without a window. The outdoor theater was my favorite feature.

The cabin was very on theme with Harry Potter. And beautiful setting. Lots for kids to do. Ropes course, pool, video games and hot tub. We were in winter so did not get to use the deck movie screen but looked fun.

We had a fantastic time in the Hogwarts Hideaway! Both kids and adults had a blast discovering all the wizarding elements of the home and it was less than 30 minutes from Hocking Hills State Park. We would definitely stay here again! The kids especially enjoyed the loft bedroom and the outdoor challenge course.

The property was exactly as listed! My four kids, ages 9-16, enjoyed all the activities and wished we had stayed more than 2 nights. The cabin was easy to get to and an easy drive to grocery, food, and the park itself. We can’t wait to come back again!

The location was private and secluded. The cabin was well stocked with all the necessities for a short stay. It has many different activities for young teenagers. We loved the Harry Potter theme.

Amazing stay!

We stayed a weekend here with some family for my daughters birthday and had a great time! There are so many games and activities to do at the cabin. The kids enjoyed all the hidden areas of the cabin and playing outside. The host was very responsive and kind. The cabin is located within 20 minutes to Hocking Hills state park and verybeasy to get to. We cant wait to return to this cabin!

I really loved the overall theming, size, and location of the cabin, but sadly it does seem a little more run-down then in the pictures. The hammock is impossible to use because there is a large tear right in the middle of it, the projector screen was covered in dead, smashed bugs, some of the features inside of the house did not work, such as the sorting hat (this was not a big deal, but was a bummer). The outside of the house was home to a large number of small bats as well. I completely understand that this is in the middle of the woods and wildlife is to be expected, but a notification to expect bats and bat droppings would have been appreciated - one of our guests has a phobia of bats and was very caught off guard by this.Otherwise, the host was wonderful, friendly, and quick to respond, the beds were comfortable enough for a 2 night stay, the kitchen was well stocked, and the cabin was very roomy and clean. I would gladly stay here again if some repairs/upkeep were completed before.

Magical Family Retreat

We were enchanted with this cozy cabin from the moment we walked in. The HP theme is so cleverly thought out - kids and adults, wizards and muggles alike delighted in discovering all the details. Great hikes in the nearby Hocking Hills followed by a hot tub soak and watching HP in front of a warm fire - exactly what we needed!

Amazing stay

The kids could not get enough of the Harry Potter theme and talked about it the entire ride home. So many awesome surprises not mentioned in the description and so much property to explore. It was an easy 20 minute drive to Old Man's Cave and there was also a grocery store within 10 minutes. Highly recommend for any Harry Potter family.

Went above our expectations!

So much thought and creativity went into the theming of this cabin. There are so many cute surprises that aren’t in the listing of this cabin and the kids loved discovering all of them. Also this rental has so many activities and games provided by the host that we made the best of a rainy night by just enjoying the property.

Girls weekend

I have stage 4 cancer and my sisters and nieces have taken care of me since I was diagnosed. I wanted to treat them to a girls weekend as a thank you. Your cabin was wonderful we had a few harry potter fans that fell in love with it. We were very thankful for the generator after losing power, but nothing better than sitting on the porch watching thunderstorm. Thank you for everything and I would highly recommend this cabin

Property run down pictures from website not accurate. Needs maintenance work. Cleaners need to do a better job. Thick black dust covering registers in kitchen and main bedroom floor had thick dust bunnies around night stand. Drains in kitchen and bathroom clogged very very slow to drain. Water in basement bathroom sink shut off to cold water.When showering in either bathroom, the water would fill up above ankles into tub. Host was not good at communicating check in I had to reach out to Host on Tuesday for code to get into property and we were checking in on Thursday. Host was good at responding to text messages during trip. There is a cord sticking out next to refrigerator that is a tripping hazard.

Stayed with several kids and we all loved it! As previously reviewed I had to message and call host to get code when we got to the house. House was overall clean but still had a lot of dust in different places. Overall our stay was great, just a few things that could be improved on!

We absolutely loved this cabin and the location. It had everything we needed. The host was very timely with the communication. The only concerns that we had was one of the lights over the pool table did not work and there was numerous rodent droppings on the back deck. These were minor issues compared to the excellent amenities we found. It took awhile to find the hidden rooms but that just added to the excitement. Would definitely like to stay again.

The kids never stopped loving the HP theme. I thought they would get over it quickly but even on the last morning, they were still wearing their assigned house robes as dictated by the Sorting Ha and waving their wands around. It took me a second to figure out how to get into the hidden room which was fun. The large deck, firepit and chairs were wonderful and got lots of use. We didn't get to watch an outdoor movie as the projector was missing a power cord but the owner was unaware. He attempted a next day replacement delivery but it was the wrong one. No doubt it will be remedied asap. The hot tub could use a new lid as it was hanging by a thread and thus needed a good cleaning each day. But still usable. Nice, attached decks with comfy chairs to enjoy a morning coffee. As for hiking, Rockbridge was very close and was better than expected.A great stay for any Harry Potter fan.
