Escape to our calm, stylish, newly built cabin in a secluded, wooded setting near Hocking Hills. This family & dog-friendly retreat sleeps 14 and is perfect for connection & relaxation. Features a game room with a pool table, ping pong table, fireplace, and bar. Relax outdoors in the private hot tub, around the fire pit and, at outdoor dining sets. The cabin offers fast WiFi, an in-unit washer/dryer, a grill & an EV charger. Just 6 miles from Ash Cave and 25 minutes from all Hocking Hills attractions, it’s a rustic escape with modern comforts!

The main level features a cozy living room with a warm indoor fireplace and a large-screen TV, creating the perfect spot for your group to gather.

The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a central island, is ideal for preparing delicious group meals. Enjoy them together at one of the two outdoor dining sets on the expansive double-decker porch.

For entertainment and relaxation, you'll find:
A fun-filled game room with a pool table, ping pong table, and a dedicated bar area.
An inviting private hot tub, perfect for soaking under the stars.
A beautifully lit-up fire pit for memorable evening gatherings.

Host was responsive to our questions. We found the rooms to be comfortable. We spent most of our time in the main level. We were happy with the amenities provided and the property itself is in pretty good shape. We did not use the hot tub or fire pit, mostly due to the weather the weekend we stayed. Overall we recommend this property.

Pre Thanksgiving get-together

There were 8 adults spanning 3 generations. Place was great . Loved the interior and the fireplace. Made you feel very comfy. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of room to gather around . Would like to return in the spring.

Hocking Hills visit

The cabin was nice. We had enough room for the ten of us. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. They need to have more towels available as well as kitchen towels and pot holders. The mattresses in the top floor bedrooms are uncomfortable and very noisy. It was difficult to get any sleep.

60th birthday getaway

Booked this house to celebrate my husband's 60th with our 3 kids, their significant others, and 2 dogs. Space was the perfect size for our group. We especially loved the outdoor balcony area for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Dogs loved the large yard to roam and run. Overall, it was clean, comfortable, and the perfect spot for our birthday weekend.

Great location and home

The pictures do not do this house justice. It is very clean with lots of space. The covered porches, hot tub, and fire pit were nice additions. We also enjoyed the ping pong and pool table on the rainy days. We ate at the house everyday and the kitchen had enough amenities to enable us to cook what we wanted. We went on many hikes and the furthest was only 30 minutes away. Most were within 15-20 minutes. We even stopped by the winery near the house and enjoyed that as well. We would stay again.

The rental was very nice. The water was not good. There was definitely an odor to the water and outside you could smell the stench of sewage. There were also dirty towels in the kitchen drawers.

4 star because beds uncomfortable

Property was very nice and would have given it 5 stars but everyone agreed that for this nice of a property the beds were very uncomfortable and every time you sat down or moved in them they were noisy. Getting a good nights sleep is a priority.

So, overall, the property is very nice and worked well for us. My grandkids enjoyed the first floor area with the ping-pong/pool table. Their favorite was the hot tub though. Related to the hot tub, there were only enough towels for the bathroom showers (which were excellent-one for each bedroom) so we would have brought along some beach towels if we knew that to be the case. The fire pit area is as pictured, and we enjoyed several evenings out there making scores with the grandkids! The second floor with the great room is beautiful, comfortable and functional. We all enjoyed the veranda with the comfortable furniture. The three upper floor bedrooms were comfortable and functional. While not worth one less star for, there were just a couple minor things. We could have used a larger frying pan or a griddle for stove-top cooking (we managed with the 6-inch omelette pan) and there was a 30/day charge for the EV charger (which was frankly one of the attractions) so we opted not to use the charger.

The house was overall great. The deck was an amazing place to sit and have our morning coffee, and hang out in the evening. The check in process was smooth and easy. We noticed a couple of broken things right away when we arrived and let the owner know. The owner quickly responded.We had two families staying in the home (5 adults, 4 children) and we had plenty of space, beds, bathrooms.We only really had a couple of issues. One- the beds. The beds are very creaky and loud, even just rolling over at night is loud enough to wake others. The beds are also very uncomfortable.Two- (and this is not the owners fault- just a fore warning)- the power went out while we were there. There is NO cell service out there. The house is in a very rural location (it was very dark). There also are no flashlights at the house for such an issue.

Great location & layout but small negatives added up

The property has a great layout and location, but some small negatives added up to our 3 star review. We were a group of three families with 5 kids ages 6-10. None of the queen sized beds are comfortable and seem like they are missing the box spring, so no one was sleeping well. The hot tub was dirty when we arrived and the owner did work to get it cleaned but it was too late for our stay. The kitchen had minimal pots, pans, and cooking utensils, no colander. There wasn't enough towels when we arrived but the owner did bring more by. The property does have a lot of potential and would be a great place with some minor updates and attention to details. It did seem like there was a rowdy group before us, so maybe that contributed.
