APARTMENT STELLA MARINA
The Apartment Stella Marina is situated in Corniglia, the central village in Cinque Terre.
Three-room apartment, 100mq big, completely renewed, situated on the second floor in a house on the main square of Corniglia Cinque Terre.

It features: air conditioning, heating , free wi fi, stove, oven, hair drier, dishwasher, washing machine.
On two levels. On the ground floor: living room with terrace, a big table, a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people, fully equipped cooking area, little bathroom.
First floor: master bedroom with one double bed + other bedroom not in closed off space, with 2 single beds. Bathroom with Jacuzzi bathtub. For max 4/6 people.

HOW TO REACH CORNIGLIA AND THE APARTMENT STELLA MARINA BY TRAIN
We suggest you to travel by train: in Cinque Terre having a car is not necessary and parking could be difficult. Please note that in Corniglia we don't provide any parking place.

Outside the train station of Corniglia you will find a little bus that will drive you from the train station to the village in less than 5 minutes.
The bus service is provided by the Cinque Terre National Park till 7 pm . You can buy bus tichets at the train station or on the bus (extra charge). Please note that later than 07,00 pm you can reach the village only on foot, walking up the 300 steps on the Ladarina Staircase that connects the train station to the village. It’s only a 10 minutes walking but our suggestion is to bring light luggage with you.
During the day you can take beautiful pictures of Manarola from the Ladarina Staircase.

The apartment is situated on the main square of Corniglia, last stop of the bus.

Great place in the middle of Corniglia

Air conditioning was fantastic. Second or third floor apartment with plenty of space. Only thing to watch out for is there's only a tub with a shower head and a low ceiling, but we made it work. Would recommend

This place cannot be beat! Decorated very nicely, outside patio, washer and air. I loved staying here in the beautiful village of Corniglia. Much more quiet than the other villages.

Stella Marina in Corniglia and found it clean and tidy: we always try and prepare it at best for our guests! Yes, with 2 bedrooms for 2 people each and a sofa bed for other 2 people in the living room, the apartment can sleep up to 6 people. Our office is sitiuated in another village, Deiva Marina (where we have a hotel, Hotel Clelia Logis), not in Corniglia but we always answer our guests' requests immediately either by email, telephone or whatsapp. Hope to have you as our guests again in the future, maybe even in Deiva Marina, where you could also enjoy our swimming pool! We had a wonderful stay in Corniglia at Stella Marina. The apartment was spotless and well equipped with anything and everything we needed for a comfortable visit to Cinque Terre. Found wonderful places to eat just steps from the apartment. The hike from Corniglia to Vernazza was challenging but so rewarding with amazing vistas.

My family had a very pleasant time in this apartment. Most importantly, the AC cools entire apartment well. Second, it is a PERFECT location. The lack of a stand-up shower was problematic, the TVs are rather old, and the WIFI was quite spotty when we were there (turning on and off regularly). These aren't big issues if spending the entire day in the beach, but if a business traveler or family with kids expecting some downtime streaming movies, they could be issues. The kitchen was great to make meals in, and the market was only steps away from the apartment. ALSO--swimming in Corniglia was fantastic! Just bring water shoes for stability and to protect feet from sharp rocks.

No shower, but still highly recommend!

The apartment is lovely and a very convenient location in town being very close to the bus stop. The only issue with it was that there isn’t a stand up shower, just a hand held thing in the tub, and if your family is tall, like mine, you can’t stand up in the tub. Otherwise, the place was great and would recommend it!

Gem in the center of Corniglia

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this very comfortable property. And since we had a car, we took advantage of the offer to park at the hotel they own and take the train to Corniglia. (and we were able to meet the lovely property manager!). Unfortunately, it had rained the day before we came, so some of the trails were closed. We'll just have to return! :)

Overall very nice!

Bright and clean property! Very convenient to the town (right at the main town square). Very nice to have air conditioning on the hot summer days! The kitchen is very small and the plates/utinsils are on the other side of the room. It really just has a bathtub with a hand-held shower head; can't really use it like a shower as the ceiling is too low.

Yes the apartment is conveniently situated in town : from there you can easily reach the town centre, the train station, the Blue Hiking Trail. When we restructured the apartment we decided to put there all the most important amenities, such as air conditioning and free wi fi and to keep the particular shape of the apartment as it was in the past with an attic upstairs. The Jacuzzi bathtub is a relaxing way to enjoy the bathroom as well ;-) The open space downstairs features a large livingroom and a fully equipped kitchenette. A balcony with view over vegetable gardens completes the scene. Very happy to know that you enjoyed your stay! Hope to have you here again! Ciao :-)

Fantastic

The property is lovely, large, in a perfect location, in the quietest village of the five in Cinque Terre. The east facing balcony was lovely for breakfast and to watch the world go by on the piazza in the evening. It is right next to both grocery stores, and the neighbours in the building were very friendly, with two adorable cats! The only thing to be aware of is that the shower head is not high enough to be a stand-up shower, but can be used easily by sitting in the jacuzzi tub or sitting on the back ledge of the tub. A wonderful apartment, it worked so well for our party of 6, thank you!

Stunning location at Corniglia

This apartment was very well located and check-in was smooth. Issues: The bedroom upstairs hardly gets wifi and the apartment doesn't have a shower. The Jacuzzi tub was clean, but nozzles seemed to be dirty and it's not very convenient to shower with the hand held faucet. We could not locate heating in the house for living room. Also, there were hardly any closets/storage facility in the unit. I'd certainly advise that if traveling to Cinque Terre - carry less luggage since there are so many stairs. Luckily this unit is just at main downtown stop in Corniglia, but the spiral staircase makes it difficult. I'd recommend this place for short stays in Corniglia.

Family Stay in CT

The apartment was consistent with the description and photos. The apartment is spacious with a queen/double bed in one room and two twin beds in a loft. The kitchen is small but adequate for light meals and snacks. There is a tiny laundry room with a toilet on the main floor. The spiral staircase to access the loft is very compact. Large people and large luggage will have trouble with a tight squeeze. The bathroom is spacious but there is no shower. The jacuzzi tub is fitted with a hand held shower nozzle. Our family made it work for the 2 nights we stayed. Location is great, just a few steps and stairs off the town square. There are lots of steep stairs in CT and accessing the apartment is no exception. Communication with the host was very good, and professional. The directions to access the property were good.

Ideal location and amenities

Our family loved staying at this rental. We were undecided on which village to stay at and Corniglia turned out perfect for us. It is centrally located and easy to move around to other villages via the train. It’s the only village that doesn’t have direct access via the ferry, which turned out great as it’s not as overcrowded as other villages. The apartment has all of the amenities you need and communication was extremely clear. The layout worked well for our family of 4 with two teenage boys. As others mentioned, there isn’t a shower, but rather a large jacuzzi with a handheld shower head. I’d read this prior and it wasn’t an issue for us. We really enjoyed spending our evenings on the outdoor patio, playing cards and watching the activity downstairs in the courtyard. The apartment is right in the village and we could just pop down the stairs to visit restaurants and enjoyed walking down to the water. It’s also close to the hiking trail to Vernazza which an incredible hike. Our only regret was staying 2 nights instead of 3.

Worked great for our family!

My family of four visited the Cinque Terre and this apartment was our home base. It worked great for us since our teenagers could have their own space and so could we. The views are amazing! Yes, there are tons of stairs everywhere in the CT, to get to this place, and also the spiral staircase up to the bedrooms, but that’s part of the charm in our opinion. There is a small fridge, kitchen, and basically everything you need to make a basic meal (but no condiments or anything). We had a couple issues with climate control but figured it out (you use a remote control to turn the heat up or down), and we stayed during mild weather. And yes, you do kind of have to crouch down to take a shower in the jacuzzi tub. Overall, it was a great apartment for us and our kids. My only hesitation in staying there again was that the bus up the hill stops running at 7:30pm, so we had to hike up the stairs or the hill every night since we had dinner in other towns. But again, it’s the Cinque Terre...climbs are part of the deal.

Yes, you’re right: in Cinque Terre climbs are part of the deal  A real paradise for hikers! Corniglia is situated on the top of a hill, this means that in order to reach the village you have either to hike up Ladarina Stairs or take the little bus that connects the train station (at the sea level) to the village itself. The bus service runs all day till 07,30 pm. In the evening a hike it’s necessary but the view from the hill and the stairs is stunning ! Hope to have you back here in the future! Who knows! Other than this apartment, we have one in Riomaggiore with breathtaking sea view from all the windows and 4 in Deiva Marina, one of the villages known as "Baie del Levante, on the coast between Portofino and Cinque Terre. Die Wohnung ist großzügig geschnitten und zentral gelegen.

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in der Ferienwohnung. Sie ist sauber und git ausgestattet. Der Service ist perfekt. Die Lage zentral und man kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. Man braucht kein Auto dort und hat den Bus vor der Türe und die Bahnstation im der Nähe. Die Wanderwege sind sehr romantisch.

Wunderbare Tage in Corniglia

Wir haben fünf wunderbare Tage im kleinen Corniglia verbracht und die Zeit dort voll und ganz genossen. Die Ferienwohnung war sauber, der erste Blick morgens ging direkt auf die aufgehende Sonne und das Meer, Restaurants, kleine Läden und der zentrale Dorfplatz befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Perfekte Ausgangslage für Wanderungen jeglicher Art, Bahnhof mit dem Bus oder zu Fuß ohne Probleme zu erreichen. Absolut weiterzuempfehlen!

First time in Cinque Terre

We had a lovely time in Clelia Apts in Corniglia. With a little help from some locals, we found our apartment. Could not have been a better location. Loved the church bells!! A magnificent terrace - with a large awning. Would definitely return!
