Great Stay

We were impressed with everything about our stay. Booking and communication were outstanding. The property was as described and shown in the listing. It was extremely clean, and we did not need a thing during our stay because everything was there for us. I highly recommend if you plan to stay in the area.

Excellent getaway

We LOVED our stay here over new years. The house is well amenitied and incredibly fun to stay at. We fished off the dock (unsuccessfully due to our timing) and walked down to the marinas near by. Quiet, enjoyable, and amazing hosts who were great communicators. Would absolutely stay again.

This was the exact rejuvenating vacation we needed!Anna was quick with communication. Kitchen is stocked with cooking/baking utensils/pans. Bedrooms are incredibly well laid out and beds were comfortable.At the time of our booking, there were two sit in kayaks and one better suited for rapid waters. The pool was refreshing and a perfect way to spend the warmer hours. We even enjoyed smores by the fire pit. For the trash, the “dump” is not far and the city does ask that you separate food trash from recyclables (glass, plastic, aluminum, corrugated cardboard, cereal boxes, etc.)There were not a lot of restaurants open during our stay and grocery options were limited at the closest IGA. Recommend bringing your food with you if you are selective. That said, the seafood (especially the crab cakes) from J&W Seafood was delicious!Cannot wait to stay here again!

Pre-Christmas weekend with grandparents

We had a wonderful weekend in this sweet home, visiting other family members who are local to the area. We enjoyed the use of the kitchen and living room and loved the views of the river. All the beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. Anna is a great communicator and host. Thanks.

Amazing Sisters Stay

My sisters and I gather annually without our spouses/kids for a girls weekend. We love the northern neck (it's relatively equal distance for all of us) and this house was amazing. Even though it was February and we couldn't enjoy the water and pool, the views were incredible. The house was exactly as described, communications with the host were stellar, the house was amazingly clean, the beds were super comfy and the location to great northern neck restaurants and fun shops was perfect. The WiFi handled all four of us on our devices while using streaming services. The bathrooms were large and clean. Having at least a half bath on all three floors made it super convenient for all of us to get ready. I would eagerly stay here again and encourage anyone else to do so as well!
