Featured on the History Channel, Disney+, and at major public events, Dustin creates live sculpture performances and permanent installations -many experienced throughout the retreat and along the wellness trail.

Raven, one of the hosts, works in sleep medicine. Each bedroom is designed for a restorative experience.

This 4,000 sq ft Art Lodge is about an hour from Columbus, Ohio and just minutes from Laurelville - easy access to groceries, gas, supplies, local cider, and six family-owned restaurants within a 5-minute drive. Located on a 58-acre nature preserve, the Art Lodge was designed and created over five years.

Pets / Domestic Animals

Domestic animals cannot be accommodated. Domestic animals have harmed wildlife living within the nature preserve in the past. Peanut, a senior 25-pound dog, lives on the property and may be seen during a stay. Peanut is friendly with humans and does not do well with other domestic animals.





Sculptdecor Studio

The Sculptdecor Studio is located on the 58 acres near the Art Lodge at the bottom of the driveway. Dustin specializes in animatronics, steel sculptures, wood carvings, and mixed media. Live art performances and experience packages are available; details can be shared through messages. The hosts’ home is on the same 58-acre property. Although the home is not visible from the Art Lodge or Tiny Bungalows, support is often nearby if needed.

Two artists and life partners spent over five years building the Unique Art Lodge and Tiny Bungalows on a nature preserve, shaping each space with the intention of creating a one-of-a-kind experience - like sleeping in an art museum in the middle of a forest, with eco-luxe amenities. The immersive art installations and symbolism throughout the property are designed to build connection, inspire wellness, and spark creativity.

Security:

Three outdoor cameras are located at the Unique Art Lodge: one facing the front door and two facing the gravel parking areas.



Guest Access:

Must be 25 years or older to rent this property. The guest who booked the space must be present at check-in and have a photo ID which matches address and credit card used. The booking guest must be present during the complete stay.





Guests have access to hiking trails along with the functional fitness stations and meditation areas throughout the 58-acre nature preserve. No fishing, swimming, or hunting on the property-nature preserve. While you are here, feel completely welcome and free to explore around the property while doing your best to leave the smallest footprint possible. Whippoorwill birds lay eggs on the ground, here, without a nest so please watch your step. It is important to stick to traveling on trails when hiking throughout the forest. Always practice leave no trace ethics on the preserve.

Laurelville is a small town on the western end of the Hocking Hills. The closest larger towns within a 30 minute drive are: Logan, Lancaster, Circleville, and Chillicothe.



Getting Around:

Ravens Retreat Hocking Hills a little under 2 miles, east of Laurelville. Drive up a heavily wooded Thompson Ridge Road and you will see Raven's Retreat on the South side. About a half of a mile down the private driveway are 12 parking spots surrounding the Art Lodge. Parking is always free.



Interaction with Guests:

Guests are given space but hosts are available if needed. Raven and Dustin, are usually within a 5 minute drive of Raven's Retreat Hocking Hills.
