We LOVED our stay at Waccabuck. It was perfect for our family.

The cabin was beautiful. The property was very private. The heated pool was very nice and was enjoyed by everyone. We would highly recommend Waccabuck.

Perfect amount of space for our group of 6. The pool and wrap around deck were lovely. The kitchen has everything we needed. The location was wonderful, close to major hiking trails and about 15 minutes from town.

A GREAT place for a family vacation!

We loved that our 3 families could be together in the same home, and not feeling crowded. The interior, all in knotty pine is gorgeous. The bedrooms are spacious enough to be comfortable, and far enough apart to be private. The heated in-ground pool was a hit with the whole family!

We had a wonderful stay.

This was our 3rd year at this cabin. We love the pool area. The top floor bedrooms are hot with no air conditioning in that area. We have 10 people on our family and had to space time between showers for everyone to have hot water.

Refreshing

The home was beautiful, very clean, inviting, and spacious. We loved that it was tucked back away from the noise of the road. The wrap around porch had perfect views! We all agreed we would be back in the future! Thank you for a relaxing weekend.

We enjoyed our stay but things could have been a bit better when it comes to cleanliness and a few kitchen amenities (i.e. spoons, spices). The hot tub was dirty when opened and the jets kicked out a lot of residue/dirt. The area around the house, specifically the wooded area next to the house, seemed to have numerous pieces of garbage. The swimming pool was very nice and enjoyed by the whole family. It was close to various hiking trails.

Great experience with this cabin. We stayed with a total of five families with toddler/baby age kids. Cabin was warm and well stocked with supplies. Everything was very clean with plenty of bath towels. Hot tub was clean and very warm. We woke up to snow one morning and the driveway had been plowed.

Great place to get away

Quiet home nestled on the top of a hill with no neighbors in site. Enjoyed the hot tub and pool area, along with the covered porch area. The grill was a plus for nights of cooking out. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dinnerware and utensils for all.

We enjoyed our stay but some things could be better.

Although we enjoyed our time, there are definitely things that could be improved. The hot tub was dirty when we opened it and we didn't want to use the jets because they kicked out dirt. It just seemed that better cleaning overall could be completed, mainly outside around the property. Also, the kitchen seemed to lack enough silverware, just a few spoons provided. We really enjoyed the pool and when contacting the owners/managers of the house, they were very kind and responsive.

We enjoyed the location and the size of the cabin is perfect for our family.

The cabin has nice amenities. The new towels and number of towels was an added benefit as compared to previous years. The cabin was clean but could use upgraded mattresses especially in the larger upstairs bedroom. Also the green swimming pool without a cover or locked gate was unappealing and seemed like a dangerous liability. Other than that our stay was comfortable and fun! The price has really risen in the 4 years we have stayed here.

Beautiful cabin with lovely pool and pavilion.

We enjoyed our stay for the most part. They definitely have a bat problem which means a lot of bat poop on the deck. We really had to watch the 2 year old with us so he didn’t pick any up and we had to walk around the piles. We called about it and they were very quick about helping with the problem. The pool man showed up the afternoon before we were to check out which left us with no water pressure in the cabin for about an hour. Be prepared for dog hair as this is a pet friendly cabin.

The kitchen had a good amount of supplies! The fire pit and grill were great and in good working order. The large porch with its stunning vista was probably my favorite part about the cabin:). We had a great stay and plan to return!
