Doc's Lakeside Cabin ist ein großartiger Urlaubsort für Erwachsene, nur um zu entspannen und zu entspannen.
Wir sind entlang der Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, in Southern Illinois in der Nähe der Shawnee National Forest. Doc's Fluchthütte liegt etwa 30 Minuten südlich von Carbondale, Illinois und 25 Minuten östlich von Cape Girardeau, Missouri History Downtown Cape.

Unsere Hütte liegt neben dem Shawnee National Forest, dem Trail of Tears State Forest und den LaRue Pine Hills, die tausende Hektar Land zum Erkunden haben.
Sie werden feststellen, dass unsere persönliche Kabine für jeden Geschmack schön eingerichtet ist.
Kabine verfügt über ein geräumiges Wohnzimmer mit elektrischen Kamin mit gewölbter Decke und voll ausgestattete Küche mit Kochutensilien. Ein Vollbad und 2 Schlafzimmer Master Bedroom King Size Bett und Gäste-Schlafzimmer Queen-Size-Bett.
Lieblingsplatz - abgeschirmt in der vorderen Veranda, die die Breite der Kabine erstreckt.
Doc Kabine wurde im Jahr 2012 erbaut und befindet sich in der schönen südlichen Illinois und hat Satellite WiFi Limited. Unsere persönliche Kabine ist als ein romantisches Wochenende konzipiert für Erwachsene im Alter von 25.

Potenzielle Gäste müssen unseren Mietvertrag prüfen und akzeptieren, ausfüllen und an uns zurücksenden, um im Voraus Informationen über alle Gäste zu erhalten, die in der Kabine übernachten werden.

The cabin was in excellent shape, very clean (I’m a clean freak and it was up to my standards!) and well furnished. It was nice to have a well stocked kitchen as we bring most all of our own food on trips. The weather was perfect when we were down there and we enjoyed time out on screened in porch, dock on the lake and the hot tub.

Our host was very welcoming and the cabin was beautiful and comfortable! The rainy weather didn’t allow for much outdoor time but we enjoyed the beautiful view from the screened in porch while we sipped our coffee in the mornings.

The cabin was amazing. Even though it rained some, it was perfect to sit out on the porch and watch/listen to the rain, nature, and the peace. Just an overall great location! We also got in a couple of good hikes not far from the cabin. Would 100% suggest to others, and we already have.

Perfect! That is the best way to describe our stay. We celebrated our 25th anniversary with a stay at Doc’s Lakeside Cabin. We only need two things for a get away to be enjoyable. 1. Clean accommodations. 2. Peaceful quiet solitude. Doc’s cabin did not disappoint. The cabin was immaculately clean to a level we’ve not experienced in a rental. The serenity of the screened-in deck in the morning with the sounds of nature cannot be described. What a great way for us to celebrate our life together and restore our souls and unwind from the craziness of everyday life. We will be back.

Beautiful and Serene

My wife and I chose Doc’s Lakeside Cabin for a weekend away. We arrived at the Cabin during heavy snowfall, and found the property owners quick to plough, salt and maintain the property so that we could come and go freely. The place far exceeded expectations, and is a truly beautiful, serene and tranquil place that is perfect for relaxation. It was so pretty with all of the snow, and made for perfect hot tub weather. The surrounding area has everything needed for a perfect adult getaway, with tons of wineries and nice restaurants in reasonable driving distance. My wife and I hope to return to Doc’s and possibly even book it for my parents as a thank you gift.

Enchanting Cabin in the Woods

My wife and I were looking for a nice cabin to get a little break away before the holidays. This one was perfect for a couple. Comfy bed and couch, fireplace, serene setting and nice hot tub. It was great to hop in the hot tub at night and stargaze. Beautiful setting, owners were extremely helpful. Anna is a few miles down the road with a couple of coffee shops, some good local restaurants, and a Walmart for groceries. Would 100% stay here again!

Amazing Cabin Stay – A Perfect Escape!

I recently stayed at this incredible cabin, and it exceeded every expectation! Nestled in a serene and picturesque location, it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals, and the living area was perfect for relaxing with a good book or watching football on the big screen. The bedroom was comfortable, and I loved waking up to the sound of birds and the stunning view of the surrounding nature. Outside, the property offered plenty to explore. The private deck was ideal for morning coffee, and the fire pit made for memorable evenings under the stars. There were even trails nearby for hiking, and we enjoyed every moment of the peaceful surroundings. The hosts were wonderful—responsive, welcoming, and clearly dedicated to ensuring their guests have a great experience. I can’t recommend this cabin enough for anyone looking for a tranquil and rejuvenating getaway. I’m already planning my next visit!

Robert built our personal getaway cabin on our property, so we would be able to share the beautiful lake view with others. My grandpa Doc said 'That would be a perfect place for a cabin." So we named our cabin 'Doc's Lakeside Cabin' in honor and memory of him.

While staying at our cabin you can sit back and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. You will see fish, ducks, birds and possibly a bald eagle. You will definitely enjoy soaking in the spacious hot tub under the stars, or reading a book on the screened balcony.
