Nestled in the woods on the Southern Illinois Wine Trail you will find your home away from home. Our fully furnished homes come with a large covered porch, with a lit up walk way leading you to the fire pit area and a hot tub . Both our cabins come with two bedrooms (queen beds in both), full bath, and a beautiful open kitchen and dining area. Our secluded cabins are a great place to escape, enjoy tasting local wines, dinner out at unique local restaurants or maybe stay in and relax next to the fire place with a good book or movie.

This cabin was so beautiful, clean and surrounded by so much nature! We enjoyed all the scenery and the relaxing hot tub. Lots of things to do around the area and many wineries to enjoy. We will definitely be making a trip back!

Quiet and clean

Very nice cabin. Very neat and clean. Quiet place in the woods. One suggestion would be a place or hook in the bedrooms to hang clothes. Otherwise perfect.

Scenic peaceful retreat

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this adorable cabin nestled in the woods. It was very clean, peaceful, and the hot tub was wonderful! Just a heads up - it’s fairly remote and the cabin itself doesn’t have WIFI, and unfortunately our cell reception was rather spotty. So it made it a tad difficult to get GPS directions to the next location or research wineries/parks in the area. So my advice is to come better prepared than us :)The host does provide some great pamphlets with local activities and entertainment. And Starview winery is literally minutes away!With all that said… the peaceful escape from technology was incredible and I will definitely be staying at this adorable cabin again!

Cabin and hot tub were nice. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. No response from owner. There is a smart tv and dvd player. Dvds were scratched or dirty, no wifi so couldn't watch tv. A few deer were seen on the property everyday.

Peaceful Paradise

This was our first time staying at the cabin and we can’t wait to plan our next trip back! The cabin is adorable and equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was so relaxing! We loved coming back to the cabin after visiting a few wineries and relaxing on the porch!

We loved our stay at the cabin, we got to use the hot tub a few times which has a nice view of the woods. The cabin was very clean and spacious. It was close to many wineries but nice to have a quiet wooded spot. Thanks!

Quiet stay in a small town

Had a nice stay in a cute little cabin in the woods. Only downside I would say is the location, it’s literally a cabin in the woods. Not saying that’s a bad thing, at certain times of the year you may need a 4x4 vehicle to get in and out. We had a little Prius and the roads were a little muddy. Otherwise nothing but great things to say, would return in the future.. would highly recommend the giant state park restaurant, get the chicken!!! Also the iron whisk for a nice breakfast spot.
