Settled along the calm Potrero Beach, this 2-bedroom condo blends relaxation and adventure perfectly. Unwind on the serene beach just steps from your door or explore the surrounding rainforests and wildlife of Costa Rica. This home provides an unforgettable vacation for families, friends, and even for a romantic escapade. Additionally, its proximity to local shops, restaurants, and well-known beaches like Flamingo, Penca, and Prieta offers convenience and more opportunities for fun.

As you enter the condo the view of the beach immediately catch your eye. The gorgeous bay is perfect for relaxing days by the pool or taking in colorful sunsets. The family room, kitchen and dining terrace, provide views of the swimming pool, lush lawn, and sea. This space is ideal for watching the sunset from one of the best locations in all of Guanacaste!

You will enjoy a newly renovated, fully appointed kitchen equipped with stove with oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, blender, electric tea kettle, and more. We also provide a propane grill for outdoor cooking.

The beautiful swimming pool is shared with other guests of the building, but its size and shape grant times of fun for the children and adults alike. The front lawn is perfect for lawn games or lounging in the shade. We sit on the calm bay which is great for walking, jogging, swimming, paddle boarding, and sailing in the warm water.

Great stay! Perfect setting overlooking the beach and pool. Lots of good restaurants in Potrero which were walking distance. Beach is perfect to take walks on and the ocean is amazing. The house has everything you need. It is clean and comfortable. Wanda answered all of my questions promptly before the trip . We liked that there was a security guard at all times. Nice to have a smaller quieter place. We definitely recommend this place and area.

This condo was perfect for us. It was so close to the beach, so we went for a walk every morning. Then at night we would walk to one of the many good restaurants in Potrero. The condo had a very nice balcony that we sat on each mornig to look out at the ocean and a table that seats four for breakfast. It was clean and well kept. We had no problems.

We just returned from a week at this condo and found it very clean and well equipped. The condo is located directly on the beach with several great restaurants within walking distance. We did cook in for some meals and everything we needed was provided.We are already missing our morning walks on the beach!Wanda was very responsive with our enquiries and their property manager Christian was very helpful in assisting in organizing a car rental and excursions.

Great stay

Gorgeous home! We really enjoyed our time at the property. No words can describe how great the view was. There are restaurants and some stores close by you can walk to to grab snacks or have dinner. Also, the person managing the property gave suggestions on where to go and transportation. Very enjoyable!

Lovely apartment in Potrero

I stayed with My family for 5 nights. The apartment is very clean and the kitchen is perfecty equipped. The view is very nice as well as the location. We had a great time!

From the moment we booked, this was a five star experience. My only hesitance about this home is that I don’t want it to become so popular that my friends and I can’t book it in the future. We’ve already booked for 2 weeks next year.Every person has their own criteria for a stay. For our criteria, this was excellent. It was on the beach, a beach that isn’t busy. It is sloped at high tide, and flat at low tide. Easy to walk on. Hemingway’s restaurant was an easy beach walk, and The Beach House was a longer beach walk. The 2 bedrooms each have king beds in them, so great for 2 couples to stay. Washer and dryer were large, so easy to do towels. It had a well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, towels, etc. It was obvious that the owners stay here at times, as it was well maintained and well stocked.Thank you for a lovely stay, see you next year!

Short stay

We had a nice stay. The home is clean and comfortable. The location is great - close to restaurants and such. Since it’s a condo, it’s a little noisier than a standalone property, but the view of the beach and sound of the waves make up for it. Host was very responsive and check-in/check-out was very easy.

We had an amazing stay at El Destino! We loved everything about the condo - the beautiful pool and yard, easy access to the beach, and especially the incredible sunsets each evening. We enjoyed having morning coffee on the balcony and grilling out in the evenings. The location is perfect with easy access to several beaches and great restaurants, while we enjoyed a quieter atmosphere at the property. The only negative is that we had to leave! We hope to be able to return soon! Wanda and Christian were great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed.

What a lovely stay we had. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and Had lots of great suggestions. The sunsets were incredible from the balcony. The apartment was perfect and well decked out with everything you would need to cook in or go to the beach. So clean so safe so stunning. Fab places to eat either side of the apartment. The pool was lovely after a day on the beach. We actually preferred this beach to flamingo, as it was so nice to waddle from pool to beach to apartment and restaurants. Grilled a few nights on the balcony, with fish from the little fish shop in brasilito. The supermarket close by was small but impressively well priced and well stocked. The coffe shop, a 2 min walk, coffee was soooooo good. There is not one bad thing we could say it was all perfect

Great Ocean front Oasis

The ocean front was amazing. The umbrella trees provided great shade. The Iguanas and lizards were a great addition. The location was quiet. The guard and maintenance workers were friendly and there around the clock. Wanda (owner) and Christian (local) responded immediately when questions came up. High and low tides were fun to navigate. The Surf Box, Gracia, and Hemingway's pizza were our favorite foods. Short walk to everything you would need.

Great Potrero Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Potrero. The communication before our arrival was very easy with the owner and communication the whole time was excellent. The property manager was so nice and would take care of any issues promptly! There were very few minor issues! The property manager was always available via WhatsApp and would recommend restaurants and also book excursions such as sailing. The pictures accurately depict the property.The location in Potrero is centrally located to multiple beaches with restaurants all around! Highly recommend and we will stay again at this location.

Great Xmas Getaway

We enjoyed our stay in the area close to Play Flamingo so much we hope to return again. The condo was great for our family with 2 older daughters aged 20 and 22. Loved that we could enjoy the beach and pool at leisure without having to drive anywhere. We could walk into town on the beach as well. We booked the Lazy Lizard sunset cruise which picks you up in the bay at the far end by the marina. Highly recommend them. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our 7 days. Highly recommend this condo and the location is fantastic. The big deck was a great plus to play cards in the evening or enjoy our morning coffee! Fantastic stay!

Could not have been better!

Well this exceeded our expectations! We had selected another condo rental on Potrero, and thank goodness it was taken as this was over the top. The unit is so well appointed, there is nothing else you will need staying here.And the grounds are kept beautifully.One of the main features that I do not believe is mention, is that there are only 5 units here, which really makes it so private. Wanda is a most wonderful and informative host! And Christian was so helpful.Thanks for such a marvelous stay at your home!If we return to Costa Rica, we will be staying here!

We had a fantastic stay at El Destino! Our family of four had everything we needed inside (stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and living area, laundry) and outside exceeded expectations! Loved eating on the deck, swimming in the pool and the beach was never busy, but warm and perfect for walking and swimming. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Check-in and communication with Christian was great - he was so helpful with an earlier check-in request, recommendations and quick responses. THANK YOU for an incredible stay!
