Relax in this romantic holiday home in a peaceful, central location with private pool, large sun terrace, beautiful lake and hillside views and excellent access to nearby beaches, tavernas and attractions. There is unlimited free WiFi and free, private parking in front of the house. It offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms - ideal for couples or families of up to 5 people. There is a very comfortable Sofa bed for the 5th guest.

This stylish villa is located in a romantic and quiet location right in the centre of the island of Corfu. From here, all the highlights of the island can be explored in a very short time, by car, bike, bus or simply on foot. For families with children, one of the largest water and amusement parks in Europe is nearby (10 minutes away by car).

Linens/towels/bath towels and beach towels are provided free of charge.

A well-functioning bus service connects Villa Rosemary with Corfu Town. The beautiful sandy beaches of Pelekas Beach and Glyfada Beach can be reached in just 10 minutes by car. The bus stop is within walking distance of the house. The "Blue Bus" will take you to Corfu Town in about 20 minutes. Tickets are available either from the driver or at the "San Rocco Square" bus station.

With the "Green Buses" you can discover all the more remote places in Corfu for a relatively small price.

Our village "AGIOS IOANNIS" offers you a well-stocked supermarket, a bakery, a pharmacy, internet café-bar, a grill house, a restaurant with the tastiest Greek dishes and a nice tavern in the old town centre. All of this is within walking distance.

Hiking enthusiasts will be delighted by the beautiful hiking trails with magnificent views over the island. Especially here, our house is the ideal starting point for you!

Car rentals are available at Kapodistria Airport. The airport is 15 minutes away by car. We are also happy to help you find the right car rental company.

Lovely, central Corfu villa

We had a great time at the villa which was the perfect base in central Corfu for exploring all corners of the island, though a car is essential. We went to a different beach every day. Pleasant evenings spent by the pool with lovely sunsets and we enjoyed cooking fish from Corfu Town market on the barbecue. All recommendations from Debbie were spot on. A comfortable, well equipped villa. Recommended.

a really relaxing break

Sometimes when we`ve booked a villa the actual villa has not matched the description, this was not the case with Villa Rosemary where everything was as good, if not better, than the listing. The villa was easy to find and sufficiently private to relax completely. The much used pool was a godsend on the hot days, and the villa itself was cool indoors. the villa was very clean and well maintained and lacked for nothing in facilities. We spent most evenings at Pelekas ( about a five minute drive ) where there is a good selection of restaurants, our personal favourite being Levant at Kaisers Throne. Most of the Island is within an hours drive so the villa is very conveniently placed for visiting other parts of Corfu and still get back for a refreshing swim before heading out for an evening meal. i would certainly recommend Villa Rosemary and the only downside for us was having to leave!!!

Ruhepol - mit Nähe zum Aqualand und einem Natursee

Bequemer und erholsamer Aufenthalt - so wird die Sehnsucht nach einem Pool zuhause richtig groß. Gute Kühlung, vollständige Ausstattung und man hätte sogar Grillen können.

Traumhafte Unterkunft

Wir haben den Urlaub in der Villa Rosemary sehr genossen. Debbie und Andreas standen uns während der gesamten Woche mit vielen Tipps zur Seite. Wir haben die Villa sehr sauber und perfekt ausgestattet vorgefunden. Wir hatten ein kleines Problem mit der Toilette, das aber gleich gelöst wurde. Das einzige was fehlt ist eine Außendusche. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr idyllisch an einem See gelegen mit Ziegen und Hühnern in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Vom Ferienhaus sind alle Ziele auf Korfu gut zu erreichen. Der Pool ist sauber und sehr gut nutzbar. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist prima. Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Debbie war immer ansprechbar. Wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub, an den wir uns gerne erinnern werden. Villa Rosemary ist ein sehr gepflegtes Haus, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Innen wie außen und am Pool. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist mehr als ausreichend. Wir haben jeden Tag genossen. Das Frühstück am Pool mit Blick in die Landschaft voller Olivenbäume und Mittelmeerzypressen. Sowie das Bad im beleuchteten Pool am Abend. Schön war die Nähe zu Korfu und zum Strand Kontogialos bei Pelekas. Die Betreuung durch die Hauskeeper war bestens. Debbie war immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage

Sehr sauberes und top gepflegtes Haus in ruhiger Lage an einem Teich, ca 20 Min vom Flughafen entfernt. Mietwagen (klein!) notwendig. Viele Strände (auch Sand) in wenigen Autominuten entfernt. Im Haus ist alles, was man braucht und der Supermarkt im Ort sieht von außen unscheinbar aus, hat innen aber erstaunlich viel Auswahl. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß und, obwohl nicht beheizt, schon Ende Juni herrlich warm. Die Klimaanlage(n) wird vor Ort extra gebucht und bezahlt (je 5 €/Tag) und waren sehr effizient und für uns notwendig.

privates Häuschen mit Pool

Das Häuschen liegt sehr idyllisch und privat. Der Pool ist klein aber sehr sauber und das ganze Grundstück ist sehr gepflegt. Wir konnten herrlich entspannen und auch die Strände waren sehr schnell erreichbar. Alles in allem hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Perfekter Familien-Sommerurlaub

Wir hatten hohe Erwartungen an diesen Sommerurlaub auf dieser wunderschönen Insel und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Schon im Vorfeld wurden sämtliche Anfragen an den Vermieter zügig und freundlich beantwortet. Der Empfang durch den Villakeeper war sehr freundlich und wir fanden das Haus genauso vor, wie es hier beschrieben war - zentral auf der Insel, in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Ausblick über das Tal von der Terasse aus. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es bietet alles, was man braucht. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Der Willkommenskorb war eine schöne Geste und sicherte uns ein erstes gemütliches Abendessen. Die Klimaanlagen und Fliegengitter leisteten gute Dienste und die Ausstattung mit flauschigen Handtüchern sowohl für die Badezimmer als auch den Poolberich hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir haben unzählige Stunden am Pool verbracht - unsere Jungs kennen inzwischen jede einzelne kleine Fliese ;-). Das Haus liegt sehr günstig als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge. Mit dem Auto erreicht man Korfu-Stadt in 10 - 15 min. Nach Pelekas sind es ca. 10 min. In unmittelbarer Nähe liegt der Rutschenpark Aqualand in dem größere Kinder sicher jede Menge Spaß haben.

Rien à redire, totalement conforme au descriptif, maison très bien située sur l'île, très confortable, bien équipée avec un bel environnement. Piscine très bien entretenue 3 fois par semaine par un pro. Accueil sympathique et aidant pour trouver la maison et se repérer. Commerces à 3mn... Irréprochable !

Wonderful Setting

Villa Rosemary is located in a wonderful, peaceful, tranquil setting, yet being in the centre of Corfu is ideally located to explore both the North of the Island and the South. Nearby you have amazing beaches, watersports, fabulous restaurants and Go -Karts for your teens. 1 km up the road is Aqualand. Beaches such as Pelekas and Ipsos have inflatable bouncy castles which is vital (in our opinion) if your taking teens. The villa itself has everything you could possibly wish for, it is literally home from home. We would highly recommend a stay at Villa Rosemary because of it's location, also the fantastic, friendly communication with the owners and value for money.

Excellent Villa!!!

We are a family of 5 and our stay at Villa Rosemary was absolutely lovely!! The villa is VERY well equipped - we had everything we needed and it was spotless - I cannot fault it at all!! It is in a lovely, quiet position with a great view of the lake. The pool is cleaned regularly and there were plenty of outdoor chairs/loungers to use. The Villa Keepers, Debbie and Andreas were very helpful when it came to us hiring a car and they made us feel like nothing was too much trouble for them. Debbie gave us some recommendations on places to go, places to eat, other activities eg. horseriding - she was very accommodating and helpful. Thank you to Astrid, the villa owner for all of her communication and organising of everything before our stay. I would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Rosemary to anyone who wanted a central base to visit the beautiful island of Corfu.

Zalige vakantie!

Voor ons, een stel 65+ers, was het verblijf in de villa een zalige vakantie. Voor 2 personen is de villa heel ruim en voor 4 personen ook nog heel goed te doen (2 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers). Het huis is heel goed onderhouden en in perfecte staat en beantwoord volledig aan de beschrijving. De keukenuitrusting is volledig tot en met onbreekbare borden en glazen voor gebruik bij het zwembad (prima idee). De duidelijke instructies maken het uitermate gemakkelijk om alles te gebruiken zoals het hoort. De patio met het zwembad is zo uitnodigend dat men er eigenlijk al zijn tijd zou doorbrengen. De zetels en parasols zijn degelijk en eenvoudig in gebruik. De centrale ligging op het eiland maken het de ideale uitvalsbasis om Korfoe op het gemak helemaal te verkennen. De uitstappen zijn voldoende kort om achteraf toch nog van de villa te genieten. Zonder alle aangename verassingen bij aankomst te verklappen : De smalle kronkelende landweg naar de villa heeft een paar korte steile hellingen en tegenliggers doen wel even schrikken. De mooie stenen trap van het poortje naar de patio en het huis beneden is minder geschikt voor wie niet meer zo vlot te been is. De eigenaars zijn heel correct en alle contacten verliepen vlot van informatie in verband met de reservering over het klare en duidelijke contract tot en met de terugbetaling van de waarborg. De plaatselijke verantwoordelijke voor de villa was eveneens zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Aangename mensen om zaken mee te doen.

"Wonderful holiday!" "For us, a 65+ couple, the stay at Villa Rosemary was a glorious time. For 2 people the Villa is very spacious and for 4 people ideal. The house is very well maintained and in a perfect condition and it fully corresponds with the description. The kitchen equipment is complete even with unbreakable glasses and dishes for the use at the pool ( excellent idea). The clear instructions make it very easy to use. The patio and pool is so inviting, in fact we wanted to spend there all our time. The seats and parasols are good quality and easy to use. The central location on the island makes Villa Rosemary an ideal place from where you can discover Corfu. After all our excursions we enjoyed the Villa very much. The narrow winding country road to the Villa contains a couple short steep slopes so be careful with oncoming traffic. The beautiful stone stair from the gate down to the patio is less suited for people who are feeble on their legs. The owners are very correct and all contacts went very smooth, from the information about the reservation, the contract to the refund of the security deposit. The local villa keeper was also very friendly and always there to help. All nice people to do business with."

Eine wunderschöne Zeit

Wir fanden in der Villa Rosemary ein herrliches Refugium und haben uns glänzend erholt. Gerade weil wir nur zu zweit waren, konnten wir die Ruhe, die Annehmlichkeiten und den Luxus in vollen Zügen genießen. Das Haus entspricht genau der Beschreibung, der Pool war sauber und gut gepflegt, die Umgebung wunderschön und bis auf hin und wieder störende Geräusche vom nahen Aqualand auch sehr ruhig. Stephen, der Hausverwalter war sehr freundlich, gründlich und dennoch unaufdringlich. Eine echte Bereicherung. In der nächsten Umgebung können wir neben all den Attraktionen Korfus das "Ambelonas"-Restaurant empfehlen. Es liegt nur ca. 800 Meter vom Haus entfernt an der Strasse Korfu-Pelekas in Richtung Korfu. Alternative und doch sehr originäre Korfu-Küche in zauberhafter Lage. Alles in allem kann ich "Rosemary" nur empfehlen, und wir werden bestimmt auch noch einmal wiederkommen!

Wundervoller Urlaub!

Wir haben gute zwei Wochen in der Villa Rosemary verbracht (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder 4 und 9 Jahre alt). Unsere Erwartungen an das Haus und das Grundstück wurden mehr als erfüllt. Angefangen vom freundlichen Empfang durch den Villakeeper Stephen bis zur Ausstattung des Hauses hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen. Unsere Kinder haben sich so wohl gefühlt, das sie mich darum gebeten haben, das Haus zu kaufen und umzuziehen ;-) Der Blick von der Terrasse auf die grüne Landschaft und das Konnzert der Frösche am Abend erzeugt ein sehr entspanntes Gefühl. Der Pool ist klein aber fein. Wir haben im Haus nichts vermisst und würden bestimmt gerne wieder kommen. Die Lage des Hauses zur Erkundung der Insel ist optimal. Die Hauptstadt Kerkyra ist schnell zu erreichen (10 Minuten mit dem Auto) und zu den ersten schönen Stränden braucht man auch nicht länger. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Im Haus war alles sehr gepflegt und sauber, alles vorhanden. Im Ort findet man vom Bäcker, über Supermarkt, bis zur einfachen Taverne alles was man braucht. Für größere Einkäufe empfiehlt sich der LIDL in der Nähe vom Flughafen. Alles zusammen, können wir das Haus voller Freude weiter empfehlen !!!!!!!!!

Beautiful and well-equipped, in lovely setting

A lovely peaceful setting and a well-equipped villa, finished to a high standard. Beautiful views out and very quiet, but only 15-20 minutes drive from Corfu town, meaning you're close to lots of restaurants and shops. We'd recommend getting a car - even though you can get the bus up here from the town, the lane to the villa is very dark at night - and having a car meant we could get to local shops easily. The welcome pack of food was a nice touch, as was the friendly welcome on arrival. We'd definitely stay here again.

beautifull house on a nice place

The house has everting you need and the swimmingpool is greate. The house was clean and the owner give you a good custumer service. I recommend this house to friends. We like the fish restaurants in corfu town and the beaches are very beautifull.

Everything you need to have a marvelous holiday

We had a wonderful time at villa Rosemary. We stayed there for 2 weeks in July but we would easily have stayed another week. The location of the villa is excellent, in the centre of the island, only 10-15 minutes away from Kerkyra. You have a local supermarket (Sconto) at about 6 minutes by car, and others (Lidl, AB) are less than 15 minutes away. It is ideally located to visit the island (North and South). The villa itself is in a very quiet area, whith mainly rural noises (chickens, cocks, goats, swallows during the day - owls, frogs during the night). We went a couple of times to the beach of Glyfada which only about 15 minutes drive away. As it was really hot in the period we were there (up to 40°C), the best time to visit the beach was in the morning (10am-1pm). In the afternoon we enjoyed the shadow of the parasols on our terrace an the pool to refresh. All comfort is foreseen (even 2 bathrooms with excellent showers). The window shutters and the airco helped us to keep the temperature inside at decent level. The villakeepers deliver excellent service (pool maintenance, weekly cleaning and fresh towels) and are available in case of emergency. We were also very pleased with the set of towels we received (including protection towels for the cushions of the sunbeds on the terrace and beach towels). We rented a car at the airport. You can stay at the villa without a car, but it would be tough, especially to do your daily shopping. In short all ingredients for an excellent holiday (good weather, marvelous island and a lovely villa).

Perfect holiday staying at Villa Rosemary

We have recently returned from a week's break at Villa Rosemary and I can honestly say it was one of the best holidays we've had in a long time. The villa was everything we could have asked for and the location was idyllic. The villa is surrounded by countryside, and at night the area comes alive with fireflies and the sound of birds and frogs nesting at the neighbouring lake, absolutely stunning. There are a couple of excellent tavernas just a short walk away and also a minimarket. Agios Ioannis is so centrally located so hiring a car allowed us to see much of the island very easily. Corfu Town is only a 15 minute drive away and the nearest beach is a 10 minute drive, we also visited Paleokastritsa and Kassiopi, Pelekas and Glyfada with beautiful scenery and crystal clear waters. We would venture out during the day and then look forward to returning to the villa to relax by the private pool with a nice cold glass of Mythos beer before going out for delicious Greek food! Perfect! The villa itself was very clean and comfortable and we really felt at home there. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. Inside stays refreshingly cool during the hot afternoons, and we slept like logs at night. We would like to say a huge thank you to the new owners Martin and Astrid and we will definitely be recommending Villa Rosemary to our family and friends, we really didn't want to come home. Looking forward to booking another holiday there in 2012!

CHILL OUT IN CORFU

We were seeking a semi-rural retreat, close enough to Corfu Town but even closer to the West Coast and Ropa valley / Corfu Golf Club. Villa Rosemary has not just provided the most ideal location ( set amongst the olives with lake/valley views) it was superb accommodation, We felt so at home and were looked after from the moment we arrived at the airport and escorted on to the villa. We chose the Gold package, which considering what we got in return was great value for money. The children just swam in the pool every day and we chilled out under the sun shade on the patio constantly. As the regular blue bus service from Ag Ioannis village itself or on the Pelekas/Glyfada road were within an easy 5-10 minute walking distance we decided not to hire a car. The villa itself had all the facilities we needed and the service team cared so much about our welfare - they often helped us choose our daily excursions making sure we did not visit ant grotty places or tourist traps before they got on with their various cleaning duties. The villa was kept spotless, the furnishings and equipment like new although the TV was a little small but that is only a minor issue - we hardly bothered about it - just to watch CNN for the news. The Welcome pack was more than adequate, we used it for 3 DAYS before we had to re-stock - thank you ever so much Mr and Mrs Mawson and your wonderful team - see you next year !!!

This is the third season that Villa Rosemary has been made available for holiday letting. Although it is really most pleasing to receive such favourable and positive comments from our clients with regard to the villa's accommodation, its facilities and location - for which we are truly grateful, when our wonderfully professional service and maintenance team are appreciated also, then that is exceptionally satisfying. This current season (2010) has been particularly difficult with regard to the international economic situation. Its effects have certainly been felt in the holiday business in Corfu as much as anywhere so the increased reservations this year have proved that VILLA ROSEMARY offers great value for money once again to the discerning holidaymaker. Enquiries continue to enter our "mail-box" and we endeavour to respond within a very short time. We continually review our performance and if we can, we shall seek to maintain or even improve standards if possible. 2011 beckons already according to a number of recent enquiries. "THIS IS WHAT HOLIDAYS ARE ALL ABOUT"

Dear Phil and Rosemary Firstly we would all like to thank you for the fabulous time we had at your villa in Corfu . Everything was great from Hilary meeting us at the airport down to Spyros providing a car. Not sure where the week went to but caught up with Hilary at the villa on Vicki’s birthday and opened the champagne, many thanks for this very kind gesture and the ‘welcome pack’ which proved most useful and it is this sort of thing that makes the difference on arrival We partied the night away at her sisters in the end. Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself and after all that is what holidays are fundamentally all about. The pool played a major part in the daily routine, get up and have a quick swim, a bit of breakfast another quick swim….. and so the day went on....... ..... Do keep in touch and we will most certainly recommend you to our friends and family, it was really a tremendous success for us and made our holiday truly memorable...............
