Great house for our family vacation

This pretty home is located in a gated neighborhood about 30min from the Disney parks. We decided to travel from Canada and North Carolina to celebrate the holidays in Orlando, with scheduled visits to the Disney parks and Universal Studios parks. The house was bigger than the photos on the site and it was well-equipped for our 4 families. Plenty of towels and kitchenware and the appliances were new. The pool was warm and clean and there were plenty of towels for us to use. Our only issue was that we noticed ants inside the property upon arrival and the fridge would sometimes pop open if you didn’t press hard on the handle. Perhaps some extra dusting and cleaning of the bathrooms is required. The shower curtain in one bathroom needs replacing including the rod. Overall we enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to be back again in the future.

Home Review

Most outlets in the kitchen didn’t work. We had to do laundry of towels and bedding and we have never had to do that at any rental home we have stayed at previously. If you wanted the hot tub on then the pool was cold bc it shut the jets off to the pool. So we paid extra money for a non heated pool, therefore we only swam once. We swept before we left and all the we swept up was like the house hadn’t been swept in a long time or they just swept around rugs instead of picking them up. I know it wasn’t from us as most days during our stay we were not home, we were only there in the evenings.

The place is exactly what the pictures show with a few flaws. The lights in the pool doesn’t work so if you plan on enjoying the pool once weather cools off, it’ll be in the dark, only the porch light works. None of the bathroom fans work & only certain outlets work. Communication from the owner is not great either. The person he advised to call if there were issues is very nice but she couldn’t figure out the issue. For the price, the place is worth it. If you want everything to work, this won’t be it.

We planned a family vacation with our children and grandchildren expecting a magical time at a theme park and spending quality time together. Initially, other than the need for a good carpet clean and a wall scrubbing or a new paint job we enjoyed our first night. In the morning, our daughter noticed she had been bitten by something during the night. We went out for the day to the beach came back to the house and later retired for the evening. At 3:00 am our daughter woke us up to tell us that there were bed bugs in their bed. We immediately got up and found the whole bed was infested with bed bugs of all stages. Although we did receive a refund for the stay from the property owner, we had to spend our day finding another place to stay which was not easy and had to pay double the price putting a huge damper on what was supposed to be an enjoyable time for us all. Very disappointing.

Good sized villa

This large villa was well equipped for large parties and had been well used and I am, sure enjoyed by many guests. This resulted in some of the facilities being a little tired but still remained serviceable. We all enjoyed our stay. Special mention to the property Manager, Fran, we had a minor problem with dishwasher on day one, contacted Fran and she was there within 30 mins, problem solved thanks Fran.

Womderful

We stayed here for 14 nights, 3 kids age 6-9, and grandparents and aunt, was a great property, about 20min to Disney, nice quiet neighborhood, wal mart across the road, great pool and hot tub, large bbq. Comfortable beds. Kids loved the pool, had to pry them out to leave! Everything on the property worked great. Would highly recommend

Det var ikke den rengøring man havde forventet. Lidt støv i krogene ville være ok, men der var ikke gjort rent. Grillen var en oplevelse for sig selv , opgav den og købte selv en i Wal-Mart Når man tænker på at man skal betale for rengøring, så er det nemme penge ned i lommen, uden at lave noget.

Met our needs in general - pool was great!

We LOVED the pool/hot tub and the screened pool area, the kids were in the pool during most of our waking hours! The pool temps were perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed - coffee maker, toaster, cooking utensils, silverware, etc. The house, towels, linens, beds, furniture, oven, etc. appeared to be clean however the carpet looked gross. The host and contact person were responsive and came to replace 3 burnt out light bulbs in the kitchen (which should have been changed out before our arrival) and a dead battery in a smoke detector. There was also a burnt out light bulb in the entrace to the pool area which made the area dark. There were a few outlets in the kitchen that were not functional. Dining area is dark in the evening (no light overhead the table). ALSO - there were very little to no living essentials except those that were left by previous guests. No extra trash can liners/bags, laundry soap, not enough toilet paper for our full stay or even a laundry basket. So plan to bring or buy kitchen bags and soap, laundry soap, bathroom essentials, etc. Although we enjoyed our stay, we kind of got the message that the intention of the property was to make money, and not to go above and beyond for guests.

Family Get Away

This location was great for a family get away. It had a pool, hot tub, accommodations for small children as well as adults. 30-45 minutes from Disney and 1:45 minutes from the beach. Our only complaint was the cleanliness. The carpeting needs cleaning, the main areas of kitchen, halls, and stairway need painting and vents need cleaning. There were several light bulbs that need replacement and the pool lights did not work making it a bit dangerous for the kids to be in the pool past 7/dusk.

Fabulous

The property was perfect for our family of 5 (mum, dad and 3 children 21, 19 and 16). This was our first trip to Disney and the children’s first to America. The house was lovely and clean, and very bright and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. I bought some disposable oven trays but other than that the kitchen was well stocked. The games room was a big hit with my boys who loved the pool table. The swimming pool was fabulous after a long day in the parks. It was big enough to have a swim in and play ball games. The house is close to Disney (about 25 minutes drive) and there is a Walmart just up the road. The gated community felt safe and secure and the whole area was very quiet. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely home. It really added to the enjoyment of our special holiday.
