Wagner Hill Guest Cottage is all you could hope for: cozy, clean, well-appointed and private. Acres of woodlands to walk, and a short drive to Callicoon, with its shops and restaurants and farmers market on Sunday. A favorite getaway for us!

Excellent weekend away!! Merry is hospitable and kind. The property is a dogs heaven with all the trails. We even saw a dozen wild turkeys!

Excellent, cabin in the country! One of the best we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful cozy little cabin with all the amenities (and some we wish we had) of home. Merry and Tom made everything perfect before and during our stay. Highly recommend.

Merry and Tom are excellent hosts! We stayed at their cottage for 15 nights and the cottage had everything we needed for our length of stay. Our 4-legged travelers really enjoyed their visit as well. We will definitely stay here again on a future visit. You will not be disappointed!

Merry is a superb host with great communication and response time. Her home/property is well appointed with nothing overlooked, and nice personal welcoming gifts made us feel so special. The location is convenient for local attractions including Bethel Woods. The grounds are very peaceful and relaxing with beautiful perennial gardens, outdoor wood burning fireplace and walking trails - almost feeling like a country club. We will definately return, and highly recommend.

This is probably the nicest guest cottage we have ever stayed in. It is immaculate and everything is carefully thought out. Plenty of privacy and a wonderful setting to relax and enjoy yourself!

Place was so dreamy and beautiful. Weather happened to be more rainy than planned, although didn’t stop us from enjoying the outdoors and the trails nearby. Was much needed to just getaway while also not being bothered. This place is just that and I’m so glad I discovered it while researching our stay because it is a place we will return to, to vacation. So grateful for such a wonderful experience!

By far one of the best places we have ever stayed. Warm and inviting atmosphere. I can say nothing bad about my stay. Only regret is I didn’t have enough time to explore the property like I intended but we plan on coming back soon. Truly was an incredibly relaxing experience!

This was our second visit to Wagner Hill Cottage. We find it so peaceful and enjoy walking the trails on the expansive property with our dog. The cottage was very clean and with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable bedroom. The hosts are very welcoming and respond immediately to any questions we had. This is one of our getaway hideouts and will be returning again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Wagner Hill Cottage.The cottage is well appointed with everything needed as far as toiletries and kitchen supplies and it is lovely. The cottage is well located for local hiking and the surrounding area is beautiful. Merry was great at responding to questions and we thoroughly loved our vacation. Highly recommend! Our dog Max had a blast

My husband and I were looking for a quiet out of the way place to rest from a busy life and we found it! I was such a nice space to be in, clean and inviting. We were also only 6 miles a way from a small Village to eat and explore. The property has nice trails through its wood and fields. Also, our favorite perk was the wood burning stove which was set up to simply light with a match, and enjoy and we did!!
