This little place was so cute, clean, stocked w everything, charming , and relaxing... Tracy and Jim the owners are the nicest people... We had a little mishap there w a ditch, (it was snowing) Jim came to our rescue!!! I will be returning to this cabin again in the spring or fall... Absolutely love it!!! I have already told a few friends they need to go check it out...
Jimmy and Tracy were very welcoming and nice people. The cabin and farm was an amazing quiet and beautiful place. We enjoyed taking a tour and meeting all the friendly animals including there two dogs Jesse and chunk who were adorable and friendly. It was nice waking about in the morning and watching the beautiful horses play. Both Jim and Tracy were available to help with anything we needed and the cabin was also equipped with anything we could need.
This was just what we needed! We wanted to go away for a weekend just to get a change of scenery. This cabin was perfect for our family. We have two young children and they loved using the bunk beds. We enjoyed playing games, reading and watching some TV. Even though it was a really cold weekend, we loved getting to meet the goats and horses and ducks. We all decided we want to visit again in warmer weather so we can spend more time with the animals! Thank you so much, Tracy and Jim, for everything.
We had such a lovely stay in this cabin! The property is so charming - with a beautifully equipped cabin - heat, hot water, full kitchen - including a gas stove. We especially loved all the animals on the farm - horses, goats, swans, ducks and chickens! Jim and Tracy were there to greet us and give us a tour but gave us our space at the same time. The cabin was also close to kayaking and hiking trails! We loved sitting on our back porch and enjoying a cup of coffee looking out into the forest. Can't wait to visit again!! :)
Upon arrival, Jim gave us a tour of the house and gave us a rundown of the animals on the farm - swans, ducks, horses, and tons of cute goats! I've never stayed in a log cabin before and this one was a treat with every amenity we needed. It was clean and the perfect size for our group of 5. Waking up to the rooster crowing and looking out on the pond and its swans was truly a change of pace from our usual mornings. If you're coming to the area for a couple days, your search is over!
We had the pleasure of staying at Jim and Tracy's farm while visiting our daughter at a nearby sleep away camp. There were four of us staying in the cottage and our daughter joined us for the last night. The house is located off of dirt roads out in the woods. It's a basic cabin but much bigger and nicer than any hotel in the area. Since we were going to arrive late at night, Tracy suggested that we stop by early in the day just to get the lay of the land since it's quite dark at night. Great suggestion.
We enjoyed meeting all of the goats and chickens, their two horses and their super friendly dog. The kids were excited to have a new experience under their belts and we were pleased with the selection of this perfect cabin. Exactly what Homeaway is meant for - a great pick for us! Thanks Jim/Tracy.
