Dieses schöne Haus am See hat eine Familie Favorit für viele Jahre. Cherokee wurde renoviert und für eine perfekte moderne Haus am See Gefühl aktualisiert. Dieses Haus wird 12 bequem schlafen. Es verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer sowie ein Loft und ein ausklappbares Sofa im Untergeschoss, ein Spielezimmer, 3 Bäder, 2 WCs, einen großen offenen Grundriss und eine gewölbte Decke. Cherokee hat eine sehr schöne große helle Küche, viel Ablagefläche und alle Annehmlichkeiten, die Sie zum Kochen benötigen. Es gibt einen Keurig, also bringen Sie Ihre Lieblingsaromen mit. Das Haus verfügt auch über ein sch��nes helles Esszimmer / Wohnzimmer-Kombination mit Flachbildfernseher auf der zweiten Ebene, Kabelfernsehen, DVD, gemütlichen Holzkamin, um in den Wintermonaten zu genießen, Decks, um die schönen Sonnenaufgänge zu genießen oder sich zurückzulehnen und zu entspannen der Sternenhimmel. Annehmlichkeiten: Gasgrill, schöne gemütliche dachten Whirlpool, Keller fertig mit Tischtennisplatte und Brettspiele. Es gibt einen schönen Blick auf Eagle Creek und einen niedlichen Feuerring, der für kleine Lagerfeuer sorgt, um Ihre Familie zu S'mores zu machen. In dieser Unterkunft gibt es keine Parkplätze. Minutes to Hurricane Marina (Call-Marina für Slipanlage Verleih), Appalachian Center for Crafts, Kanu Caney Adventures und I-40. Wonderful Getaway for Family

The pictures posted do not represent the home as we found it. The good: layout, kitchen, loft, fireplace, location. The bad: hot tub (no filter, water was disgusting, cover bracket broken), two sliding doors to outside decks did not work, carpets dirty, pool table (bumpers were shot/warped, balls different sizes, missing balls), general cleanliness poor.Due to the hot tub and door issues alone, I feel we should be due a refund of some amount. We cleaned the large coffee table in the living room because it was sticky and had food particles stuck to it. After I used the hot tub, I had to take TWO showers to get rid of the smell on my body. The doors are security issues that need to be addressed immediately. I propped a mop in the upper level door to provide some kind of security.Previous review posts were answered with something like, "we wish you notified us about the issues so we could address them". The issues we had should have never been experienced by us. They should have been fixed BEFORE we arrived.

Fishing tour

The property was perfect fro a group of kayak anglers visiting the area to fish the World Championships. Only a short drive from the lake made for easy launches and the house was perfect to relax in after a day on the water.

we live near nashville and work from home having the option to vacate our normal lives for a few days without driving far was a plus and then how beautiful it all was touched us all!! best break we have had in a while!!!

Lovely, Quiet Retreat

We had a lovely long weekend here. No problems at all! Lots of space for our family to come together from three different states. Lots of stairs but we loved all the deck space. Quiet and private with a lovely view of the lake and woods.

Meet in the middle vacation

House was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable and clean. View was spectacular and we all had a great time. Parking was limited and there was no back yard for kids to play. But the house was large and the play room was fun for them. Over all we loved it!

Holiday Celebration

Unable to utilize basement with the pool table and ping pong table, because of the broken window covered with a blanket and was too chilly to be in the room. Hot tub was I inviting and not used. Needed to be cleaned Size of the house was nice for our group

Weekend away

I only stayed one night because the door’s deadbolt to the master bedroom was not working. Only the knob would lock. There were also two pit bulls next door and the owner didn’t have them on leashes. I have a small dog and one of them started to run to us barking.

Great men’s getaway weekend

Beautiful Spot

We loved the cabin itself, beautiful with great amenities. Things I wish I had noted more carefully before arriving were that, although that it is close to the water, this is definitely not a waterfront property and you cannot expect to easily to access the lake. Also, the neighbors are all in very close proximity and we could easily see/hear others near us. Finally, the road to this property is very steep and windy. We drive a Dually truck and some of the switchbacks required 3 point turns.

House was clean and ready to use. Some of the most comfortable beds I’ve experienced from a rental!

Check in was a breeze and we had no issues with any of the process. House was very clean and super comfortable beds. The 4 levels of the home really makes it feel like you have more than 3 bedrooms! The basement and loft can be used as separate bedrooms. The water got really hot so be careful there! Be aware that the road the house is on is not boat friendly. Take your boat to the marina before heading to the house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I wanted a nice long weekend away to relax and that's just what we got. It was off season so no one was around and it was so peaceful and quiet. The house was perfect, it was large for the 2 of us but that was just fine with us. There were a bunch of games to play, a pool table and hot tub which gave us some things to do. We would definitely book this home especially with other people to enjoy.

Great place for large groups

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had two adult couples and six 18yr old boys for a lake trip. The house is setup perfect for a large group where some want to play cards all night and others want to actually get some sleep. The decks are expansive and we used them quite often even though it was 95 degrees+ each day. All the woods around the house keep things at least 10 degrees cooler then when we ventured out. Location is very convenient to both Smithville and major marinas. Highly recommended.

Reviewer Comments: We looked far and wide to find this house and it was as great as advertised. The kitchen is well supplied, the location is perfect, the woods gorgeous, the furniture comfortable and nice! Only disappointing features were the pool table and grill. The pool table, which was one special feature we wanted, has two serious ridges in the table where the slate has shifted. And the grill needs some maintenance and parts. We will stay again next year if we can be sure the pool table has been repaired.

Nice Cabin but maintenance could be improved

Cabin was nice. Maintenance on this property could be improved. We reported several things that needed to fixed/maintenanced. They were not done during our stay. The maintenance man came over, but did not repair anything. The directions provided by the office got us completely lost. GPS finally got us there. The road was blocked by a downed tree. Called the office and they said they would contact the county. Since it was a holiday weekend, we had to chop up the tree and clear the road ourselves. Road is very narrow and winding to get up to the cabin.

Less than expected.

For being a premier host and highly rated for cleanliness, we were less than impressed. Mold on shower curtains... carpet needed cleaned... great views obscured by dirty windows... game room had no darts for dartboard and pool table had no bounce off of bumpers... most every wall and some ceilings need paint... called ahead of time and asked about road going in and felt mislead... had there been rain or snow some of inclines would not have been manageable without 4wd on the single lane road. Positives: Kitchen was best/newest room of house. Beds were comfortable. Views from decks were beautiful. Despite nearby houses, it was usually quiet and peaceful.
