Hello! We're sorry to hear about your experience, and we wish you had reached out to us directly before posting your review. We were actively working on the lawn when you arrived before 3:00, and our historic home is well-maintained, with many positive reviews from previous guests. We were out by 3:15, albeit slightly late, and sent you the welcome message after greeting you and handing you the key, but the interaction quickly became hostile when you saw us, as you raised your voice and were very curt and unkind. Your wife was very kind and patient, however! Our mattresses are often praised for comfort, and we’ve had great feedback overall. Regarding the thermostat, it’s simple to use, but we’d have been happy to walk you through it if needed, as our contact details are posted on the app. The photos of the bathrooms are clearly shown in the listing, and while we don’t provide soap as an amenity (as noted on the VRBO page), we do offer hand soap and dish detergent. We also noticed that wet towels were left on the carpet, you moved much of our furniture around, and dirty dishes were scattered around the house after your leave. Thank you for staying with us.
